During our visit, there was a group playing a game at one of the larger tables and a couple seated in one set of those comfy seats, plus a couple of other folks, one working on their computer. So even in the middle of the day, it's busy. This is the kind of spot you will go out of your way to visit. Chorizo/chourico is a staple in RI, thanks to Portuguese immigrants. It seems a little hard to find in upstate NY, where I currently live. Having lived in RI for over 20 years, it was satisfying both as current sustenance as well as a taste memory. It was also a very generous serving. Somehow we've been lucky the last few visits and managed to grab a spot right out front, even when there was a long line.
