A small ass "shrimp street taco"

These people will never see me or my money again. The tacos were small enough to fit in the palm of my hand and didn't even taste good I threw the entire plate away. I will never go back.

I've been going to the Tijuana Flats for so long, and it never disappoints. I love that there's so much seating everywhere, and all the colors inside are bright. It makes it feel energetic. I always get the Flautas and the portions are great. I love that they changed it up and added steak options and now both chicken and steak have peppers and onions inside. They also added white queso to their menu, which is my new, go-to. Their sauce bar is really good I especially love the Rasta sauce. I also do pick-up orders on their app, which is very convenient for me. It's usually done in 20 to 30 minutes and their staff is always on point.

This is my fav location if no time to sit and enjoy the food. Today i was perplexed by the waitress and cashier had no hand washing included in the service provided to the guest. I witnessed the cashier handle money and waitress wipe her nose rearrange her hair and pull on her shorts although she is great a multi tasking; food prep and contamination is a REAL thing! And iM almost certain the manager and others in the kitchen was aware of my awareness. Mger had on a pink shirt . The acknowledgment of the situation was probably not spoken on due to the color lines , entire staff WHITE and patrons that have the concern BLACK.. otherwise iwould be extremely excited since I haven't had for for 9 days

Well I'm claiming a favorite spot to go to now... Great attention and great space to have a few friends to enjoy a nice lunch with. You can definitely run it back again for a dinner meal. Hot and delicious as you can see from the pictures it's pretty inviting and cool inside. It has great art work to allow your eyes to wonder around and enjoy. The food is great and you have many choices to choose from. One of my favorite things are the Chicken Flautas it's a Grilled tortilla, melted cheese, and pico. Served with sour cream, guac, and jalapeños. Served with a side of chips and queso SideNote: Brandon Area has seating outside :)

Our first visit to any Tijuana Flats. It's a pretty cool atmosphere. We ended up ordering chips and queso, shrimp bowl, shrimp fajitas and spicy chicken tacos. Everything was absolutely delicious! IMO their food is better than the other chains that offer a similar menu hands down! When I first saw my taco plate, it didn't have that 'wow' factor but once I started to eat, the flavors exploded. I was not disappointed! I was also surprised because they were pretty busy and servers still found time to service the tables (refills etc,), clean the dining area after each customer and actually took the time to clean the finger prints off the glass door. Seems like a great crew!

I ordered from this place before and the food is always so good.

Came in on a Friday, compliments of being a Yelp elite! We ordered the featured Flautas. The cheesy steak and kickin chicken flautas! The staff were friendly and the food came out fresh and prompt. Didn't have to wait too long! Both flautas had so much flavor in them! I couldn't decide which one I liked better but definitely try them both! You won't be disappointed! My view is biased though because i am not a fan of Mayo and one of their sauces has Mayo in it. But overall it's a good Tex-Mex dinner during the week!

Craving some Mexican style food? If you're near the Brandon area this is a great place to come and grab some lunch or dinner at. I ordered the kickin' chicken flautas and they were absolutely awesome in flavor. The entre came with chips, salsa, guacamole, queso and jalapeños on the side. Add a Mexican coke on the side and you've got a great situation going on here. They have a pretty cool sauce bar as well.

Tijuana Flats caught my eye, as we were on our way to check out Lithia Springs. It sounded like the perfect post swim meal for my family. I absolutely love the Tijuana Flats in Indiana, so I was excited to check this one out. The food was really good and exactly what I was expecting. My adult daughters first experience with Tijuana Flats, she enjoyed it enough to want to seek out the Indiana location. We both had different types of chicken Chimichangas and they hit the spot. My sons order was wrong and they mixed up his sides with mine. He was given crunchy tacos when he asked for soft tacos. Either way, he said they were "just ok." He only ate one and gave the other to his little niece to eat the meat. Service was really poor. Their employees seemed absolutely miserable to be there. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but everyone there seemed angry and miserable.

What a place really enjoyed it. The choice of sauces at the sauce bar is amazing. If you really like the sauces they have bottles that you can purchase at the cash register. The place has television on all the walls. Art mural all walls and ceiling. The chalupa was amazing. The nachos were good the wings were delicious. The sauces were so very delicious and the variety. So many to choose from. The tortilla chips were seasoned like you didn't need sauce but try the sauces out. My favorite was Mae Ploy, the green jalapeno, and the valdaia onion and peach. The lady that helped us there was very friendly, kind, and new. She was a big help because it was our first time going here. Looking forward to going back.

Crispy Shrimp and Corn Taco

First time visiting Tijuana Flats. The girl working there, Vanessa (I think?? Blonde hair partly dyed a different color maybe purple??) deserves a shout out. She greets you quickly with a smile and makes sure you are really taken care of. She's got an amazing professional personality that's very friendly and welcoming. She took care of the register, cleaning tables, sweeping floors, refilling anything anyone needs, and probably helped make the food. If you see her, make sure you TIP well and show her some appreciation. She deserves a raise too, we all need employees like her :) The meal started with the Tijuana Trio. I love being able to try a little bit of everything and this appetizer was a generous portion just for sampling and more.... The crispy shrimp and corn tacos were delicious. Full of flavor and the BONUS was that they have a lot of sauces to make it your own style and flavor, but you don't need a ton of sauces because it's really great just as is. The garlic lime shrimp bowl was not bad. The used my extra chips from the Tijuana Trip to eat with it. I enjoyed eating it more with chips! I kinda made my own nachos from it. Don't forget about some refreshing sweet tea that's perfectly sweetened and not too diabetic. Overall, it's a great atmosphere, very casual. It's in a great shopping plaza, very easy to find and allows you to get a quick bite to eat there if you need to run errands for the day that doesn't break the bank.

I enjoy Tijuana Flats because it's fast, convenient, cheap and it taste good! I normally stop in for the taco Tuesday deal. You get two tacos, chips and a drink for $6.99. I mean you can't beat that. I really like their ground beef tacos. I get one soft and one hard shell. They also offer wheat tortillas which is definitely a plus for me. The tacos come with shredded cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, onion and jalapeños. I'm not a fan of the chicken tacos anymore because I've noticed that they are a bit too dry for my liking. The chips taste really good and they give you a good amount. Honestly these tacos are pretty hefty. I think one of my favorite things is they have a really good Hot sauce bar with a great selection. They have all types of flavors from hot to sweet to extremely spicy. They have something for everybody's pallet. They also have TVs so you could actually go here relax, watch a game while have a drink because they serve beer and margaritas.

A little expensive and the containers to put hot sausce in are way too small. Food is good though, but the hot sauce thing is annoying.

Friendly staff and fast food. Cheap in price but a good, satisfying meal when you wanna pig out. Most meals would easily feed 2 people.

Los Chapos Tacos - Brandon, FL…read more I've been on a serious hunt for truly authentic Mexican food in the Brandon/Tampa area for years, and this little hole-in-the-wall next to the HCA hospital absolutely nailed it. I ordered the Al Pastor burrito -- twice in one week -- specifically to test consistency. Both visits were outstanding. The flavors were vibrant and clean: fresh pineapple, bright cilantro, perfectly seasoned meat, and you could even pick up subtle notes of cinnamon. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and genuinely authentic, not over-processed or masked with heavy sauces. What really stood out was the care. The staff checked on me while I was eating, genuinely wanting to make sure everything was right. It felt less like a restaurant and more like being in someone's kitchen -- that comforting "grandma making sure you're fed right" kind of energy. Warm, welcoming, and personal. I've traveled extensively in Mexico and lived in Florida for years trying to find a place that hits the mark for real Mexican flavor -- and this place absolutely delivers. Hands down, this is the best Mexican food I've found in this area in a long time. If you're anywhere near Brandon and love authentic Mexican food, do yourself a favor and stop here. You won't regret it.

A pile of chips, bowl of cheese dip and two skinny margaritas-there's balance there's somewhere!…read moreWelcome to Gran Agave... a colorful, cozy Mexican restaurant at Providence and Bloomingdale, where Brandon melts into Riverview. I've been here before with friends a few times, years ago but somehow never wrote a review and hadn't been back. It was time to fix both of those problems. . I stopped in for lunch on a Monday and had my pick of spots in the large, festive- rustic dining room. There are tables and booths aplenty-along with tall stools at the large bar. They bring you a generous basket of chips and salsa right away. The first round is free-they charge after that. The chips are usually fresh and crisp. To me, the salsa needs more heat or spices-but don't go by me-I have tomato issues. My server arrived soon and was so sweet when handling my questions. She helped me make good ordering decisions and also checked on me often, but didn't hover. I went with one of the lunch specials, which was a good deal. I had the Speedy Gonzalez: a beef taco, beef enchilada verde and rice (you could have also chosen beans). It's tasty and filling-and goes down great with those aforementioned skinny margs. I ordered the cheese dip and a side of flour tortillas to dip in it. I just can't resist a bowl of cheese. All this merriment on a Monday afternoon? Si!!! The menu is big-and has echos of the Vallarta's restaurants here in the Bay Area. I'm wondering if it's a sister restaurant. It's in a strip mall, with some parking in front and maybe more in back. There's outdoor seating-and I know they used to have mariachis on certain nights-and people would dance. I should find out if that's still the case. I love mariachis even more than a bowl of cheese. Gran Agave has been here a long time. I think it has a strong local following-and I need to become a regular.

We visited Gran Agave while in town visiting family and chose the restaurant based on the strong…read morereviews we saw online. We had a group of nine for a family dinner and waited about an hour for a table, which was understandable for a larger party. Once seated, however, the service was unfortunately very slow. It took about 15-20 minutes just to receive our drinks (seven waters and two margaritas), and our food took roughly an hour to arrive at the table. The restaurant didn't appear to be overly busy, so the long wait times were a bit confusing. Because gratuity was automatically included, it felt like our server may not have been as attentive as expected. The prices were also on the higher side, which made the slow service even more disappointing. That said, I do want to mention that the food itself was very good, which was definitely the highlight of the experience. Overall, while we enjoyed the meal, the customer service left a lot to be desired. I'd consider returning in the future, but only if the service improves.
