2 Hard Chicken Tacos
Marcy Y.

I occasionally crave a Tijuana flats taco specifically! I used to work at this location in high school and bring back a lot of nostalgia. The food is just as good as I remember. The queso dip sauce is my favorite of all the quesos at other Mexican restaurants. What I like about Tijuana is that it's casual dine in, the entrees are all of reasonable portions. The tacos come in one, two or threes and you can do any combination of protein, and taco shells, and the entrees come with chips that can be upgraded with beans and rice for an up charge. The toppings offered are Jalapeños, Onions, Lettuce, Tomato, and Sour Cream. They also have a "Powerlite" option that provides a lower calorie sour cream and shredded cheese toppings. And if you are a hot sauce fanatic ( or just a sauce fanatic in general) then you'll love the hot sauce bar that has a range of non-hot, medium, and very spicy sauce options to bring to your table or to go. Service is usually very friendly and typically served by high school or college students. Love Tijuana Tex Mex!

Chips, queso, cookies and a non-existent drink took 45 minutes

An order of queso, chips, cookies and a drink(which was missing from the order)took more than 45 minutes to prepare for an uber order. I called the restaurant the person that answered the phone looked up my order and told me it would be another 20-25 minutes because they were busy. As soon as I hung up the uber driver texted that he had been given my food and was on his way.

I went to Tijuana flats for a quick lunch. The first time I went the service was meh. I went back and the service was better. I tried their chicken with bang bang sauce, taco, and churros. Chicken wings 9/10 The wings was delicious. It had nice favor and nice kick to it. Chips 10/10. Crispy and light. Really good Churros 4/10. I did not like the churros. It was dry to me. The space feels like a fast food spot. Nothing special. Should you visit? Yes! Try their wings. It delicious

Overrall the food was decent. Upon arrival there were only a few other customers yet it got busy fast. The wait for the food to arrive was pretty long for everyone. My experience with the service was friendly and fast paced. The ambiance is very chill almost along the lines of fast food. Would come back to try something different and try their hot bar.

Tacos were yummy! On Tuesday's the have a Taco Teusdaze deal with comes with two tacos, chips & a drink. I did get GAUC on the side which was okay, only downfall was that it was brown when I opened the lid. Other than that the food was good and I will definitely go back on Tuesdays to get this awesome deal. The Mae ploy sauce is my favorite.. it's a sweet chili sauce. Staff was nice and friendly.

Very bright and vibrant place. Love the art. Super impressed with the sauce bar! So many options! I really love sauce. The Baja fish tacos were fresh and delicious. The chips were okay, but it was really all about the tacos! I'd definitely visit this location again to check out more from their menu.

Tasty texmex eats. Loved Tijuana Flats way back when but haven't been for over a year. Why, because my last two experiences at a Tijuana Flats were not great. Not at this location but another nearby location. However recently I decided to give them another try at a different location, this one. It was like night and day between these two locations. This location is bright & clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food fresh. I ordered a chicken burrito and chicken quesadilla both with all the fixins to-go. Both were fresh, well prepared & packaged and delicious. They're located in a plaza with sufficient parking available. Will definitely visit this location again when I want my Tijuana Flats texmex fix ;)

Oh my, great experience with delicious quick service Tex-Mex. I arrived just before the lunch rush and my order was taken quickly by a very nice gentleman. I liked that he verbally told me all the options I could have added to my blackened chicken salad. For a very small upcharge, I added a side of guacamole and a salsa along with my avocado ranch dressing. I mixed in a few shots of different hot sauces and I was in heaven. The other two girls who were back and forth behind the counter were quick to take orders, and when they were not ringing in orders, they were on the floor asking for drink refills or bussing tables. Everyone was very polite and seemed to like where they worked. They made me want to clear my own tray but I was told that it was best to just leave it behind and they would do it for me. All my food was delicious and I am looking forward to my next visit here for lunch.

Today I went to the Lauderhill location for curbside pickup lunch. Overall, I'm just ok with the experience. I ordered my food via the app and it was very easy. They even sent me notifications that the order was received and the order is ready. I could also text them with my name and order number when I'm parked at the designation curbside pick up parking spot. Everything was going great. Total transparency with the process. Until I parked.... I texted them per instructions and waited... and waited. I saw employees inside doing other things but no one acknowledged me. Mind you. I was parked directly in front of the establishment. I ended up calling the place to talk to someone and tell her I was outside and am waiting. The employee was really nice and promptly brought my food out. Not sure what happened. If no one was monitoring the system that notifies employees I was here, or no one looked up to see a car pull up. Something was missed in execution. Anyhow, as far as the food goes, I was pleasantly impressed. I ordered the steak queso crunch burrito and that burrito was a BEAST! So huge. I only ate half of mine. It came with nacho chips too which were very yummy and plentiful as well as a side of queso for the chips. I requested salsa too at no charge. I think I would have liked it more if I ate my meal at the restaurant though Bc the crunch inside the burrito wasn't "as" crunchy by the time I got it home to eat. But it was still very yum. Just a mental note to try it again when I finally dine in next time. I'm looking forward to trying other items on their menu next time. And I will prob try the curbside pick up one more time also to see if my experience this time was a fluke or not. Haha

Wowww! I was blown away by the new Queso Crunch burrito. My meal came with a giant bag of chips, salsa, and the burrito. It was more food than I could even finish and the price was amazing. I ended up sharing half the burrito with my mom and we were both extremely full by the end. My burrito had the perfect amount of crunch, queso, rice, and perfectly cooked chicken. The customer service was amazing and everyone was kind. The restaurant was clean and social distancing and masks were enforced. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and am so honored to have been able to try it first through Yelp! Thank you Yelp for giving us this opportunity. Next time I go to Tijuana Flats I'll be getting this for sure!

If I could give a -100, I would. Not only was my online order 30 minutes late, but this is what they gave me for a chicken-black bean taco. No wonder the place is empty.

My friend invited me to lunch at El G. I'd never been. What a treat!…read moreA blink and you'll miss it cozy little restaurant, I was smittened by its charm. We chose a two top on the lovely patio. After ordering sweet tea, we were brought a basket of tortilla chips and some spicy salsa. We ordered guacamole and it was perfect. Onto the main courses: She had the taco trio with black beans/rice and I chose a chile relleno with refried beans/rice. Instead of the usual cheese stuffed poblano pepper I opted for steak + cheese, which also had some veggies in it. Very tasty. El G is a charming place and the servers are nice and efficient. We arrived at 1 pm which we found out was the perfect time. It got very busy later. Can't wait to go back with others.

I am so glad I took a chance on this restaurant because we all agreed it will now become a staple in our rotation of places to eat. Additionally, the staff was so genuine, kind, and nice and I love that!

Last minute happy hour at Tacocraft turned into such a pleasant surprise…read more I found it on Yelp while looking for a quick meet up spot with a friend, and the timing couldn't have been better. I got there around 6pm right in time for happy hour before it ended at 7. As a vegetarian, I'd honestly been avoiding this place for no real reason, but I was pleasantly surprised. The truffle mushroom tacos on the happy hour menu were excellent, along with the yuca fries and other vegetarian options. I had two tacos, two margaritas, and an order of yuca fries and let me just say, the portions are very filling. One taco would've honestly been enough. Everything was fresh and flavorful: mushrooms, roasted corn, vegan cheese, sauce, and cilantro. It really didn't need anything except maybe a little spice. Service was excellent from start to finish. The host, server, and bartender all very attentive. The atmosphere was lively but still comfortable, and for happy hour seating we were moved to the bar area, which was no issue at all. Overall, great food, great service, and a really nice spontaneous evening. Plenty of parking in the back off University, which is a plus. I'll definitely be back.

Food excellent Service, friendly, quick and knowledgeable…read moreand great recommendations Menu clear and easy to read not too many options, but also not too few. It was perfect and they were willing to do whatever needed to be done to keep the us happy. The birria was incredible I just got Chicharron my brain is still processing how good it was. Maybe a little salty, but even though they were super yummy sauces on the table I didn't need to use any of them but I got sidetracked by her need for a key. The ambience was comfortable, casual, well lit and simple. Camilo took great care of us and answered all of our questions. We left completely stuffed and very happy. If I had to Nick pick, I would say that the lack of liquor license deter us from drinking like we wanted to and I wish I didn't have to ask if the margarita was wine based because we almost ordered it and I'm glad we didn't now that I know. Otherwise, we were extremely happy and I will be back often

Another one bites the dust first off I will start this off by saying I am Mexican born and raised…read morein Los Angeles, therefore I'm VERY critical of Mexican food in So. Florida. First I will start with the aguas frescas. I ordered an horchata. It was $4.99 and was served in a tiny child size cup. When I tasted it, I noticed it wasn't even homemade. We then noticed they used KLASS powder mix to make their "aguas frescas" so completely overpriced and not even homemade. Second I will touch on the tacos. We ordered birria tacos. They asked if I wanted corn or flour tortillas. This is when I knew I was doomed for bad tacos because tacos are NOT made with flour tortillas. ‍ once we got our tacos they were 3 very small tacos and they were not served with cilantro or onion. Overall. I was disappointed and would not return here. Very overpriced for mediocre and low quality "Mexican" food.
