Ordered takeout and waited 30 minutes minimum. All I got were apologies, excuses and no discounts. When my food arrived, it wasn't all that great. There were girls just walking around in skimpy shorts but not really doing any work. There was lots of movement, but it didn't seem like anyone was really moving. read more

Came here for burrito Thursday and it is a very chill and modern style place. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the place is clean, the place is lively, and the sauces are on point! For my meal, I got a steak and rice burrito with a whole wheat tortilla (filled with onion, jalapenos, cheese) It was delish! And the rice and bean side that came with it was delish aswell! We also got chips that I find are amazing paired with the sweet chilli spank my ass and call me Sally sauce! I go here at least once a week and I always have a good experience. Last week when my tacos came the portion was half of what I normally got. I asked one of the staff why the portion was smaller than what I normally get and she told me corporate told them to cut back. That is unacceptable. Tiajuana Flats in Weston has amazing service and staff. We normally end up going on Taco Tuesday. The staff always goes above and beyond. The food is consistent every time we visit this location. Ed, the manager is awesome. He made sure to come by our table to check on us and make sure all was going well. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. Went there on Tuesday, waited for 45 minutes and still no Food. Spoke to two different waitress then one female manager comes out stating that how there are two different lines of food orders coming in and they missed our order, so the manager is making our order and they are refunding me the $$$.. waited another 15 mins more still no food .. male manager states that how the order was lost. In conversation body language and the way manager spoke to me seems like he didn't care about his customer. If they can't handle a restaurant being busy, either get more help or if they are incompetent in doing their job, move to a different employer. read more

The food is always so fresh my brother was visiting from Chicago fell in love with this place. The staff is always so attentive and the tables are always clean, I even saw staff wipe down the chair seats!!! I eat there once a week. Went there at 5pm on a Wednesday evening. There were no lines and plenty of tables. They brought out our food quickly and kept checking to see if everything was good and if our drinks require refills. The food was delicious but not very hot. Reasonable price. I am giving them 5 stars based on STAFF. Went in on a Thursday during lunch hour and it was very busy. The staff working was non stop. Whether it was to see if you needed sauce, a refill, a high hair or cleaning. They were Quick on their feet. Attentive friendly and very hospitable. Thank's to the negligence of the staff I spent 2 days in the hospital for food poisoning. I order the chicken fajitas along with 3 co-workers on our lunch. 4 hours later I was vomiting in the ED and so was one of my co-workers ( the other 2 experience diarrheas) I was treated for hypovolemic shock do to the severe dehydration. First time visit to Tijuana Flats in Weston. Menu offers good variety and the food was pretty good. Service was quick and very good too, and Emily (manager) was checking with the patrons on their satisfaction. The place was also spotless, although I'm not a big fan of the TF decor (I know it's corporate requirements - but maybe I'm just too old LOL). However, I'm a fan because of Alyssa. She is the cashier who took our order, and when we told her we were first time visitors, she went out of her way to explain the menu, the options, her thoughts on best choices, etc. She also twice repeated back our order to confirm accuracy. The whole time she was smiling, friendly and sweet. Just a real, real pleasure to run into someone like her, when everywhere else we go employees act like they are doing you a favor to serve you. Alyssa is going to be a success no matter what she does in the future, because she has the RIGHT IDEA on how to treat people. I'll be back to TF if only to so I can say hi to her again. Friendly staff, good service, and great food at the price. The thing that separates Flats from its completion is the hot sauce bar. The hot sauce bar offers a wide range of hot sauces, made from different ingredients, and offering different levels of spice. The decor is festive and does feel a bit like a Tijuana bar. I gave it 1 star only because there was no zero star option. By far the dirtiest Tijuana Flats around. From the moment you open the door, the stink makes you want to leave, which is what I did. I was there long enough to see all the food crumbs on the floor and tables that will make their roaches very happy (or sick) tonight. Never again. hot sauce bar is novel. atmosphere is pretty cool as taco shops go, except for the reggae music. would have preferred some vicente fernandez or mariachi music for a better experience. cashier was friendly (counter service) and prices were ok I guess. Two taco plates, a coke and two xx beers for $32. Ordered take out on friday night. I was informed the order would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes after I asked before she hung up. I arrive 15 minutes later and was greeted nicely and asked if I was being helped. gave the server my name and she took payment and told me my order should be up shortly. She never checked on me again. In the next 15 minutes I was asked if I had been helped twice and I told them yes. While waiting I looked into the prep area; food all over the floors and counters. This place is a mess. All the workers looked and acted confused. There is no leadership. The dining area was not clean and there was food on the floors. And the place was only 75% full. Well another fifteen minutes later a young girl came out with my order and called my name. I acknowledged her and just as I reached for the bag she asks if I was all set. I replied yes. And as I was about to turn and go she stated she meant if I had paid. I replied 15 minutes ago. She apologized and I exited. arrived home 5 minutes later and we sat down and to eat. We have had this food before and at mulptile locations as well as this one, with no issues. this time it was terrible and tasted old and spoiled. This was friday night, very bad. read more

Okay, so I always order the same thing: nachos with cheese and steak pieces. It comes out great each time. I always order it over the phone (to save time). The employees are always pleasant on the phone. The place has a great ambiance...looks clean. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars? I always have to wait a bit when I go pick my order up- not a problem. One time something happened and my order had not been placed it seemed....they asked me to please wait...maybe 10 minutes later....I was given my order. They included a free dessert with a sorry note as an apology for the mistake. It was a nice gesture on their part. They still have a customer with me. read more

Horrible probably the worst meal I have ever attempted to eat. First and foremost it was cold, albeit I did take it as take out, but I only live 6 minutes from the place. I Had the enchilada and the taco, the enchilada was cold and the chicken taco was shell and lettuce...The fish tacos were also cold. I called the restaurant and spoke with Oris the manger, he claimed that the enchilada was cold because I did not get the sauce, OK it was my fault! Went for a late lunch with a friend on weekend. Ordered chicken burrito bowl and friend ordered steak nachos. Also ordered side of chips and salsa. Chips and salsa came out quickly, was a very large portion for the money and salsa was very fresh and tasty. Burrito bowl was only ok. Not a lot of chicken and way too many raw chopped onions. Also I bit into a hot pepper that was hotter than a jalapeno and my mouth was on fire for an hour. I eat jalapeno peppers all the time and this was something different and much hotter. Shouldn't have been in the bowl because it was not listed as an ingredient. Steak nachos took a long time and we had to go to the kitchen and ask what was taking so long. The restaurant was not very busy so not sure why it took so long. Like the burrito bowl, the steak nachos did not contain much meat. Staff was good about clearing tables as patron left, but didn't wipe down any tables, so all the tables had crumbs. Won't eat here again. read more
