We've been here twice. The first time we came our order was wrong and their service was really bad. Sometimes people have a bad day so we decided to give him a second chance. On our second time again the order was wrong. Since the customer service is bad we didn't say anything. The food was honestly horrible. It was very quiet. There was hardly any people. The ambiance was very strange. Don't recommend them. Sorry!

I ordered the Alambre tacos. They were DELICIOUS!!! And the lady who took my order was very kind and quick. I got four tacos and some rice and beans. It was $27. A little pricey, but honestly, I thought the tacos were amazing. They are very flavorful. Definitely coming back again.

Came in here about three weeks ago. First thing I notice is that it's hot inside, maybe the AC was broke or not working but at the same time the window all face west and the shades were up. Secondly, there's a filthy mop bucket right next to the register and salsa bar... the water was almost black and there was a faint smell. There was a wet towel jammed next to the counter with a bunch of lemon slices all over the floor and the mop handle was leaning against the drink dispenser. As we were ordering I figured they were in the middle of cleaning a spill or something but 45 min later when we were finishing up, it was all still there festering. There were three people working that I could see and they weren't that busy, it would have taken 10 min to get the front straightened out. It made me hesitant to actually eat what I ordered. About a third of the tables were dirty and the bathroom was a war zone. I've literally used bathrooms IN Tijuana which were better. We ordered a mix of carne asada and al pastor tacos. They were okay I've had worse and better. The ONLY reason I'm not giving two stars and not one is because the food didn't kill me, which seemed possible given the environment. There are 500 other places in the IE where you can get a better taco and where the staff care about the cleanliness of the facility.

Meat didn't taste good, and no a.c. idk what the carne asada really was. But I orders 6 tacos de asada and they where to weird tasting. Alpastor had no flavor. Definitely does not taste like tijuanas tacos read more

I give this place a one star. For the 1st time here i ordered Tacos to go live less then .8 miles away They were super cold when I got home I had a use my own tortilla and heat up to meet again So if you go here an order to go double check make sure your food is hot. read more

Nastiest place I have ever eaten at!! They had close for sometime to remodel, their food was GREAT prior to that. The restaurant is now pretty on the inside but that's about it! The "free" beans tasted like they had been out all day! My family and I ordered several items. A few of the items we ordered were a chicken taco, carne asada taco and a torta de chorizo. The chicken tasted like it was close to going bad, the carne asada was bland and I was disgusted by the torta de chorizo, the cook did not remove the casing off the chorizo!! Gross!! On top of that, the back of the restaurant, which is where we sat (because there wasn't any other table available-not there fault), reeked of dirty restroom!!! Never going back!!! read more

This place has taken me back to eating tacos in actual Tijauna. From their simple taco to their speciality tacos. I have eaten here and never been disappointed. My favorite thing so far has been the Burro Loco man it has carne asada, alpastor,chorizo cheese guacamole rice and beans. Man best place ever. read more

I love that they are open all the time everyday great time to go there after the club and you want some tacos because you are cool like that. However, these tacos are so bomb and they have great service and I love that they remodeled the place so it looks better than before. I am picky when it comes to taco places and this place takes the cake and never disappoints me. This is authentic and can't get any better than here! There is an employee named Claudia and she is awesome and gives great service and you don't see that anymore! I recommend this place to anyone. read more

This place was a huge letdown. The menu and everything looks good. But when the food came out everything had a burnt taste and the tripas were undercooked and chewy, yuck! I will never come back here ever again. Or their other locations. My stomach literally started hurting as I was thinking about the food that I had just ordered. The price is relatively high for the quality of food you get. The cook needs to get his head out of his ass and pay attention to what is being ordered and take some pride in the food he presents to the customers. read more

Horrible service, crummy atmosphere, but really good food. Been coming here for a few years now and just recently I've noticed that the service has gone way downhill. Missing items/wrong orders and getting skipped when making your food sometimes you have to go up and remind them. Good rice/beans and food in general is good. read more

My favorite place for tacos & Mexican food! The cashier and all the workers are extreme nice. We always come back to this location. Love the free beans too! Hole in the wall place. My coworker introduced me and after trying their tacos, I wanna bring my boyfriend next time that I go! I recommend it. The location isn't all that great nor does it look very appealing inside but let me tell you... Their tacos are amazing! They also give you complimentary grilled onions and grilled jalapeño peppers. Yum. I've only tried the small tacos (carne asada and al pastor) but they were awesome. Will definitely be back! read more

I was there yesterday night and got myself a burrito. It was delicious and tasted just like mother makes them. The food here is definitely really good. Plus the service is great. This is a great restaurant if your in a mood for authentic Mexican food. read more

If you are looking for authentic Mexican tacos, I encourage you to steer away from T.J. Tacos. I had 1 Carne Asada taco and a Carne Asada Vampiro, it was a disappointment. The meat is poor quality, no flavor, cold and rough. The meat was disgusting to say the least, I didn't even finish 1 taco. I do not recommend this place. read more

Tacos are good service not good from the cashier the person in the kitchen took our order will the other two ladies were in their gossip in the back. Then I had to yell to the girls that were in the back with their gossip so that I can get my drinks. Please if you have a business be professional and welcome your customers and those 2 girls be professional and keep your gossip for some other time. read more

Man where do i began....... this place SMELLS DISGUSTING!! As if you where walking skid row in LA SERIOUSLY LOL. Then to top it off there food taste horrible!!! My taco de asada was dripping in oil. Disgusting i used to eat here alot back in 2011 food was so much better... chicken tasted amazing. Employees where good. Now this place looks like some beat up resteraunt from san bernardino. They have great carne asada tacos, I love the fact they put grilled onions and a grilled jalapeno with it for free. Their burritos with their carne asada well worth every penny. Not a big fan of the rest of their meats but the carne asada definitely makes up for it. read more

Hands down the worst tacos I've ever had. I'm not from the riverside area (from the LA/OC area) and was looking for some tacos to eat while out here exploring. The customer service was ok. The person at the cash wrap was being sassy with one of the cooks while taking our order. The horchata was pretty decent, and the best was their beans. The tacos themselves were terrible! The meat was super dry; my friend actually got extra stuff like arteries in his tacos. I was super hungry, ordered 4 tacos, and I only managed to eat 2 because they were just so disappointing. I see other people's reviews for this place claiming it's the best, but I saw none of that today. Hands down this is going into the books as the worst taco place I've ever been to. read more

Don't waste your money. I ordered side of rice it tasted like plastic totally lacking flavor. I also ordered a small quesadilla (total rip off) I ordered everything on the side because my kid don't eat all that on it but I didn't receive it correctly. I also ordered their watermelon drink and it tasted like sugar and water. read more

WOW! Best tacos I've found in Riverside county. I ordered al pastor, carnitas, and tripas and they were all good. they actually have the al pastor cooking on a spit. The tripas were so tender and juicy yet still had a crispiness to them. It was so close to be on the streets of TJ. With your order, they even give you a side of grilled onions and jalapenos and a small cup to help yourself to some delicious beans, they are so yummy! The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the place could use a make-over and some advertising. Will definitely go back again and again. read more

I went here yesterday for my first time and was not pleased that the tables, floors, and bathroom were not very clean. The food however was good. The free beans were really good but a little spicy. The carne asada burrito was really good once I put some salsa and lemon on it but there were some fat pieces I had to spit out. read more

And what made it worse is at one point he itched the inside of his nose with his finger, and didn't even wash his hands or have gloves on after that. I suggest a camera be placed at the tortilla station, add the notes about bacon in the beans and chicken in the rice, and add bell peppers to the fajitas. Good as always love getting the carne asada tacos or the carne asada quesadilla. I also tried the hotdog but wasn't as i expected. If you go to a taco place order what they are meant to give for food not hot dogs. Little pricy i end up spending over eleven dollars every time I go just on myself. Overall they have good food and on fridays and saturdays they are open late, so if you get hungry late at night Tj tacos is the place to go.
