Tried Tiki Docks tonight and enjoyed the ambiance and service. The food was pretty good but nothing stood out - the peel and eats were seasoned well and the lobster roll was fresh and packed full (an improvement on prior reviews). The cheesy shrimp toast was alright. Overall, this will be a great hang after a long day at the beach when it's beautiful out - but it doesn't quite hit the same in December. read more

Get there and we go upstairs to see the band - we're standing right at the podium - the hostess is nose down reading a screen - a woman and 3 young girls walk right in front of us and the hostess looks at us and ignores us - then an older woman joins them and it becomes a circus - we walk out into the bar area and there are several empty tables - I come back and ask the (confused) hostess if it is ok for us to sit at the empty table since she was ignoring our attempts to be seated...she says she was seating people and not ignoring us and starts getting attitude with me - I told her that she couldn't have been seating people - because she never left the iPad or whatever she was looking at - and to do what she needs to do and let me know - she runs away - and didn't come back - Waitress was great - food was barely warm - $28 (hot) Lobster Roll - fishy grouper tacos - cold burger - eh Bar was cool read more

First time at Tiki Dock based on Yelp reviews, and they were not wrong. Excellent Mai Tai for happy hour. I like my drinks with a kick, but not overpowering. it was perfect. We had a dozen of steamed oysters, that were on special. Also ordered the grouper bites fried basket. Lots of grouper and the fries were nice and crispy. Our waitress, Kelly, gave us good recommendations and was attentive to our needs. We will be returning again for the happy hour specials. read more

A diamond in the rough!!! FOOD: Very good with excellent flavors. Wings, Quesadillas and Ahi Tuna were all great. SERVICE: friendly, knowledgeable and on time. AMBIANCE: intercoastal, but nice views. Did not seem like a typical waterfront Florida restaurant. The menu selection, food, beer selection and overall ambiance seemed to have a little something extra that differentiated them from the norm. The grouper is flaky, tender and the blackened seasoning was good enough to be noticed but not overpowering. The key lime cheesecake had no business being that sweet/tangy. Mediocre is the word for this restaurant. The good: fabulous location, cool vibe, fun atmosphere. The bad: Hostess was not friendly. Did not even say hello. We sat on the lower level our server seemed overwhelmed and was pretty much checked out. Took a good 10 minutes for a draft beer to come to the table. After 20-30 minutes our food finally arrived. It was very evident that it had been sitting out for quite a long time. It was barely warm and not very good. (Florida nachos and the pineapple chicken quesadillas) The pineapple salsa was in a small dipping cup that was half full. The nachos... dry, overcooked, and just bland. PLS READ. NEVER GO THERE. I went to tiki docks for the first time the other day to have dinner, there was four of us and we were sat on the top deck in the corner right next to the server room. We were there till around 10:08 after it closed. I arrive to my house and notice I left my bag on the chair at tiki docks so I decide to call and ask that's same night to see if they can go look for it so I could pick it up the next morning. The lady on the phone had replied and told me no she cannot do that due to the restaurant being closed already so she told me to come look in the morning myself which i thought was rude because I was simply asking for her to just check if the bag was there or if it had been returned. I wasn't asking to come to the restaurant after hours. So I just tell her okay and i return at 10:59 the next morning. i walk in look and check if it's there and it's not so I ask the host to check a lost n found or wherever you keep lost items people leave but she tells me that they haven't received anything and if they did it will be at the lost n found. So she tells me to write down my name and number and she will call me if they receive or find it. 5 hours go by and no call so i go back and ask if they have it and they keep telling me no but I was telling them it has to be here because we were the last people there and i was the first person the next morning so nobody could have took it other than the workers. All the worker are being super suspicious so i decide to call the manger to ask if they are able to check the footage by any chance to see if anybody grabbed it. He said yes to show him where we were siting and he will check them. It was night when we were at dinner so the manger was saying the cameras might not have caught it because " it's a blind spot ", " it was too dark " or because they are " motion sensor cameras " which i've never heard of a restaurant having that especially corporate restaurant. Well he checks them and gives me a call saying he couldn't see nothing on the cameras because it's to hard to see but that impossible because there is no way not one camera in the WHOLE restaurant didn't catch somebody grabbing my bag. So my brother asked him if he could come in and check the cameras himself and the manger said yes come in at 8:30pm and mind you he called me at 3:46 a whole day after he said he would check the cameras. So my brother goes in and check the camera's himself. My brother was saying that when they manger was showing him the footage it looked like he had edited the footage or cut footage out to the point where we couldn't see who grabbed bag the manger was trying to put the blame on me saying that maybe i had misplaced it or that he seen me put it over me but like i know what i put on me and i have footage of me waking in with my bag but not walking out with it. So overall the whole staff , workers, bartenders, everyone working there were all either being rude about me asking or werid about my bag and just saying that they just don't have it. The manager was twisting my story and was nervous when talking to my brother and you could just see his body language of pure guilt. and as well as everyone working there. Also take to thought that I valuable items in my bag but no identity in there so it's like something someone would take you know. So idk i just think they cut footage and were telling us stuff that was nonsense and didn't make sense to the story so i just left it because they are obviously lying over a bag. Something weird about the whole place. Because there it's just no way my bag just disappeared into thin air. 3.5 stars. We wanted to take our family from Iowa to a place on the water, so we tried Tiki Docks for the first time at 5:30 on a Thursday at the beginning of Bike Week. I waited in line about 5 minutes to get my name on the wait list. The moment I got to the counter, they started re-routing people to the lobby and would not take my name, and the people behind me in the lobby got their name on the list before me even though I had been waiting longer. Our party of 6 was seated in exactly 30 minutes, the time they estimated when I first got my name on the wait list. We were seated on the second-floor patio overlooking the water. Beautiful view when there was daylight but a little too dark to see our food when it finally arrived. I would not have wanted to sit inside, It was too noisy with blasting music. Our food came out exactly one hour after we ordered, and the appetizer about 30 minutes after ordering. Drinks came out quickly. I tried to be understanding because of how crowded the restaurant was, but our group felt the wait was close to the point where we were ready to leave before eating.My pina colada was refreshing. Most people in our group felt the food was tasty and moderately priced except for the sides. All are $4.99 including a little bowl of white rice. Yucca fries were just $1.00 more. Quite a discrepancy. My black beans were well-seasoned but slightly salty. The queso dip was yummy, but the chips were ever-so-slightly stale. Our server was quite attentive although she gave my husband regular fries instead of the yucca fries he ordered. She did apologize. Overall I would be willing to try this restaurant one more time at lunchtime on a weekday after the snowbirds leave when it's not so crowded. read more

I went here for my birthday with a group of friends for brunch and was seated on the top deck. Service was very slow I waited over twenty minutes for my drink from the bar. Food was ok the shrimp was barely warm, the breading was super thick with a handful of warm fries. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. I had previously visited when it was Fysh for a previous birthday and thought that giving it a second chance without really much improvement . Went there for lunch last weekend while catching up with friends. The location has changed venues but I think this time they will do well. Our server Quentin was stellar, was able to remember six peoples orders without writing them down, drinks were topped off more than regularly, just plain fantastic service (something thats been lost for quite some time) and was very personable. Had the bacon burger, (sorry was too famished to take any pics), all was served quickly, hot, and delicious.
