The waitress was so sweet and cute. Very few people from Florida that lived here works here. Food we had was platter with shrimp scallops and fish fries. Cole slaw needs something though. Went there for lunch last weekend while catching up with friends. The location has changed venues but I think this time they will do well. Our server Quentin was stellar, was able to remember six peoples orders without writing them down, drinks were topped off more than regularly, just plain fantastic service (something thats been lost for quite some time) and was very personable. Had the bacon burger, (sorry was too famished to take any pics), all was served quickly, hot, and delicious. Had lunch on Friday. Sat outside on the upstairs deck. Two of us ordered lunch entrees, a Cuban with fries, and the shrimp tacos served with rice and beans. Our server, Sarah, was excellent, and didn't rush us and answered all our questions. We had dessert - and the Mango Cheesecake and Mud Pie were delicious. After a long hot day visiting Kennedy Space Center, we return to Port Orange and found this great restaurant. The food was cooked perfectly. Fish and chips and bourbon glazed salmon was excellent. Was so excited for the opening of this location as I've been a frequent guest at the Riverview location. So disappointed by the food--gochujang ribs no longer on the menu. Really mediocre food--fish and chips okay, but not great; fries are average. Visited on a chilly day, asked the hostess to close the second interior door to cut down on the cold wind blast inside the restaurant, but she said the manager would not like that. Really??? On our second visit to Tiki Docks last Saturday for a surprise 60th birthday once again, our food was OUTSTANDING and our service even better ! We had Serenity for our server , she had waited on us as another large group in January- our first time there. We were thrilled to see she was working again! This trip there was approximately 22 of us and she was an absolute joy! Everything was correct, came out hot and there were no issue with the checks. I highly recommend checking this place out , the ambiance and the whole experience is fantastic! We had a large sampling of menu items ( the surfside shrimp was the bomb!) and everyone really enjoyed their meals with no complaints. The entire staff willingly participated in the birthday shenanigans- helping us to sing happy birthday and all! If you look young and are a foreign visitor this restaurant will not accept your valid drivers license for your country that shows your date of birth clearly. They are asking for your passport. Anyone that travels knows you do not carry your passport 24/7. They were asked to leave. Both are in their early 30,s. They have been in Daytona for 3 weeks going out almost every night & never experienced this. Shame on you Tikki Dock manager! read more

Service is normally good but something was wrong tonight and it wasn't even busy when we were there. Someone peaked their head out to ask if we were being helped, we said no and she said she would get somebody for us. Honestly, that was kind of annoying cause we would've liked to give her our order. It was a simple order. Anyway, five more or so minutes go by and we see a four people seated near us, a waitress came right up and took their order. We patiently waited for her to finish before asking her if she was our waitress she said no I'll get someone for you. That's when we got up and left. We went on a Wednesday for oysters around noon. The place was crowded with several large groups. We were seated immediately but it took about 15 minutes for our server to come to our table. Service was incredibly slow. It took 30 minutes for our dozen raw oysters to come out and another 15 minutes for our lobster roll. Both items were nothing special. The lobster roll was a good portion but lacked flavor and was not warm as we had ordered. The noise level in the restaurant was very loud. I'm disappointed in our overall experience. I chose to dine at the upstairs seating area. The view of the Halifax River is gorgeous. The evening's band was setting up, but I didn't stay for that. My waitress was Racheal. She was pleasant, prompt and efficient. I ordered a mango margarita and queso Blanco dip to start. Then I ordered the Cobb salad with fried chicken. All were priced fair. I thought the food was just OK, nothing that would bring me back. I think this venue would be a nice place to hang out with friends for drinks on a nice evening with the band playing. read more

Arrived and decided to sit at the upstairs bar. The bartender was so unfriendly like we were a burden on her day. Not only to us but others also. Ordered the fish and chips and it came out cold. She's asked if I wanted it to go and I said no it came out cold. She asked if I wanted anything else and I said no and she turned to another server and blamed it on the kitchen. Then the bill came and there was the charge for the fish. Not once offering to remove it or to get a manager. Couldn't get drink refills either.
