Had lunch at this delightful place. Located near the water on the lake it was a delicious dining experience. Service was as excellent as the food. I had fish and chips and my wife had a hamburger with fries. I neglected to get a picture of her plate. We had the crab cakes (balls) appetizer and cake for dessert. My wife said the chocolate cake was the best she has ever eaten. Wow! It was nice and peaceful near the water. You need to eat here if you are close. It is worth the drive.

Stellar location on a peninsula with great entertainment areas. A substantially rough service: + Food was good + compensated food 20% for multiple delays + Frozen drinks were good + Nice outdoor area with lots of seating -Service was slow -Had 3 checks which were messed up for 8 people -Virgin Frozen Margarita was sour mix with ice cubes (not frozen), and charged full price - 3/7 people had the correct sides - food was delayed, due to "computer issue". 2/8 people received their food almost 20min after 6/8 people received already delayed food. - got delayed plastic cutlery Server new, nice, cared and apologetic. Stated they have every beer you could think of. They have no sours, and the only one IPA offered was described as some local "6 amber ale"; sadly, was an amber ale and not an IPA. Drinks on core menu were all good. Chips and salsa were good. Didn't have bacon for BLT's. So much potential, but the botches in service which went well beyond a new server resulted in quite a few hiccups.

For how busy they were- drinks and food came out fast! I ate the Hawaiian Turtle and it was excellent.

Such a fun and delicious place to check out if you're near here. The menu was simple but everything was excellent. Everything had great portions and came hot, all the flavors were there. I highly recommend the Pirate's Punch! The burger was nice a juicy, fries crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The pizza, cheesy, saucy with the right amount of meat underneath, my only take away was that the shrimp although big were a little dense from the batter when fried. The side mac and cole slaw also really good! Check them out!

The ambiance is "Cracker Barrel meets old dusty floral decor," which in my humble opinion is a very "cluttered and clausterphobic" atmosphere, but it is still worth going to visit. The dust layers on all the fake florals was just a little hard on my allergies but the shops & restaurant food was worth it.

We had been here over the summer, and stopped by with our daughter to share the experience. Service is always good, and some of the food is great. It seemed like the 1 inch porkchop was not as good as the gigantic one I had last time, but I coykd be crazy. My husband woukd say I was crazy, so there is that. My daughter loved her fish. The mashed potatoes with white gravy were so good, I ate those first. Hubby asked for a garden salad with salmon. He got a spinach salad with salmon. Our server brought it out and offered to have it remade, but the salad looked wonderful and he really enjoyed it. Kudos to the chef for standing his ground haha. We were too full for dessert. Highly recommend, for the experience and the cute period clothing. Get reservations though! We have to wait over an hour on our first visit. We made reservations the 2nd time and we're seated within 10 minutes.

We also bought two muffins. I had the key lime muffin and it was so moist, the filling was not overly sweet or tart, and it was just flat out amazing. The rolls made great little sandwiches and then used with our dinner of pull apart beef. The next day we bought cinnamon rolls, muffins and a loaf of bread. The loaf of bread was probably one of the best breads I have ever had! The muffins and cinnamon rolls were also enjoyed by everyone in our group. If you warm up the cinnamon roll or muffins for like 15 seconds, it tastes like they have just come out of the oven. I am a bit sad that we had to leave and this bakery is not right by my house. I wish this review could include taste and smell. My advice is get there right when they open if you want the bread. We went on Saturday at 8:30 and it was one of the last loafs. This bakery also serves meals such as a bison burger, but we did not try any of these items.

Another option was the soup and salad bar. White bean soup was like wallpaper paste. Broccoli soup was just as pasty but green. Neither had any flavor. Salad bar had bare minimals. Soup bowls were either a tiny butter dish or a ramekin. When I asked for a soup bowl the waitress pointed to my 2 choices. We shared a club sandwich which was ok. Went for breakfast the next day because the nearest town is 20 minutes away. Breakfast buffet was poor so we ordered off the menu. My traditional breakfast was fair. Ham steak was the highlight of my meal. Never got the potatoes that came with my plate. Also a first for me. Got the heal or end of the bread. Whole place is closed next year for major renovations.
