My daughter and I decided to give this place a go and we ended up really enjoying ourselves here. The place is beautiful the parking lot is huge as it is in a mall lot so parking is not an issue at all. Inside is beautifully designed the bar is spacious and has a good amount of seats. The main dining room is not huge but can accommodate dinner parties and dates. The one thing I do have to say that is great is the menu items all have pictures and the food comes out exactly like those photos. This is a major plus! The drinks here were good I did prefer the tikka sunset over the blueberry drink I had. It was balanced and not to sweet. For appetizer they gave complementary edamame which we did enjoy they put a little spice on them. We ordered the octopus which was good bad great flavor and texture. We also got the mussels which were amazing! So flavorful and definitely a good portion size. We got this with the garlic naan which was also really good. The sauce that the mussels come in was delicious. They have sushi here which I wasn't sure about getting but the waiter said it was really good so we gave it a go. My daughter ordered a shrimp tempura, she loved it it looked great and was fresh! I got the whole braised Bronzino which was a 10/10 it was plated with a salad I mean I would get this dish each and every visit. ( unfortunately they have removed this from the menu and replaced it with another Bronzino option) For dessert I got the kheer crème brulee which is not your typical crème brulee it was like a rice pudding. Not something that I am used to at all. I decided to get the rasmalai cheesecake which was good I def say try that.

The ambience is great, beautiful restaurant. Service was friendly and courteous. Our female server was knowledgeable about the menu, and offered great suggestions. The food was ok for the price point. The spicy crispy tuna rice was yummy, but portions were small. The "lollipop chicken" were mainly chicken wings, the seasoning was ok. We also got a chilli crispy tofu which was a little on the overcooked harder side. The hongkong noodles were good, but it was odd that we couldn't add a protein to it. The prices for basic desi dishes were a little outrageous (butter chicken for $25-35) Makes it hard to go back :(

Went here for a birthday dinner at the end of April and it was a great time! They had a DJ playing music towards the end and the service was decent. Food portions for the price were okay, and quality of food was good but nothing spectacular. The drinks were good, quite refreshing. Overall I would try this place again!

I'm so conflicted with this review, 1st This place is beautiful, def IG worthy for those photos. As soon as we walked in, we were advised we have 90 minutes to eat and that would be it, no exceptions - it was repeated a few times, so not a great 1st impression. Once seated, we ordered a few cocktails, bottle of wine and appetizers. The waitress came over and quickly opened the bottle and poured into all of our glasses (we all didn't want wine) however my friend realized they gave her Prosecco not wine - when she mentioned it she was told we don't have the wine you ordered ??? Like what !! we had to send it back and they were annoyed - so it felt like they tried to slip it in and hope she wouldn't notice. We ordered a few sushi rolls, chicken lollipops and dumplings, all very good. Then we ordered a couple of entrees, a salmon dish, a lamb dish and a shrimp dish. They were also very good. We did feel rushed - not by our server but another server and the owner kept coming over trying to grab plates and glasses before we were finished, We were celebrating birthdays (which was on the reservation) we expected to have a dessert with sparklers come over and it never did - however tables around us did - we asked (they seemed annoyed) for the dessert it came over - the whole evening felt rushed - we were over it and asked for the bill so we could finish the night elsewhere. Here comes the next issue - after the bill was paid in full (by credit card) tip given in cash to waitress, the owner comes over to say they forgot to add gratuity to bill, so they need to reprint the bill and charge the credit card the tip??? Like no, we're not doing that. When we got up to leave we were told we could stay since it wasn't busy, which we did not - we were ready to go. We did get a table with the chain curtain with a pink highlight - very pretty but the issues out weighed the beauty - the iPad menu is also a nice touch

Stunning! This restaurant was a breath of free air. The ambience is stellar! If you have a large enough party, you get a semi private dining experience which is really nice! We came here with a party of 6 and were able to get the semi private dining experience. What this means is your table is surrounded by a weighted netted curtains. The drinks were delicious and everyone loved the food! There was such a variety that we will definitely be back. After 9:30 PM, they have happy hour which was buy one get one drink with a live DJ. During this time, as dinner winded down, they moved the tables and created a small dance floor. Fun place!

Branzino dish. I liked it, but it's important to note that it's spicy! My mother couldn't tolerate it.

We went there for Mother's Day, the ambience was very nice. Def picture worthy. Looked just like online! The food was okay, nothing to rave about. The service though could definitely use some revamping. Our waitress kept complaining about how tired she was while taking our order & entire time there lol also, they didn't mention which dishes were spicy, so unfortunately my mom ended up ordering the Brandi I which was spicy and she started coughing really bad and just not pleasant... they then took a while to check on our table... by the time we finally got ahold of our waitress, we all had finished our meals and my mom was just there waiting... lol they didn't even apologize. She just looked annoyed and said they'll change it for something else, so she ordered the salmon (which she actually enjoyed). The desserts were good. We had the Brûlée and chocolate cake.

Excellent service! Nader that bartender was very attentive and never allowed my cup to go empty. Michael the bar manager provided excellent hospitality and ensured a pleasant experience. It's a beautiful place for an upscale date night. Definitely recommend the chicken dumplings as a starter. It was very flavorful!

Tikka charcoal grill is a new trendy Asian fusion restaurant on Long Island! The interior is very nice and the food here was up to par with their extensive menu. There are Thai, Indian and Chinese dishes on the menu. We had dishes from each cuisine and they all were Upto par. The service was great and they were very accommodating with our food restrictions and requests. Perfect place to go out to dinner with the family, the ambiance/lighting was also very nice & upscale. My only drawback was the prices, dishes were pretty pricey (NYC - Manhattan prices) but the quality of their food was worth the price tag, in my opinion.

Came here tonight as I had a Groupon from Christmas. The ambiance is so warm and charming. The food is absolutely fabulous, delicious, and plated so well. Justine was our server, she is a hidden treasure. Polite, friendly, and terrific ! I spoke to the owner before leaving. This is a must try place. You will not be disappointed!!!'

We came here for a friends birthday and I do have to say that food was pretty good and presentation was great for Long Island. I do have to say that my top two is probably the branzino and lamb shank. Everything was super flavorful. Servers were nice and the ambiance was welcoming.

Can't say enough about the chef here. The selection is a mix of Asian and Indian, but elevated with the use of spices and flavors, creating dishes that are both unique, yet familiar. The spice level can be adjusted, but it's tuned for the audience. I personally would like it spicier, but every dish I had was very well balanced and kept me wanted more. The lamb biryani was spectacular and the grilled octopus squid ink was fantastic pairing. Insteqd of booths the design team opted for movable see through chain curtains ans changeable ligting creating a unique dining experience with privacy. Definitely will come again.

The restaurant is beautiful! The service was great, our server was very attentive. We had the spicy tuna crispy rice & shrimp and scallop spring rolls for apps. Both were so delicious! Then we had soup and chicken tikka masala. Would certainly return!

My only complaint? My stomach has a limit…read more My family and I have been coming to Diwan for years, and this is hands down our go-to spot for Indian all-you-can-eat. I used to frequent the Indian buffets in Jackson Heights, and honestly, Diwan is just as good, if not better! One thing I really appreciate is that they have their own parking lot, the dining room is spacious, and as a parent, I was thrilled to see they have baby high chairs. Those little details make a big difference. We stopped by for their weekday AYCE special at just $15 per adult, which is an incredible value! My plate always ends up looking the same because I can't resist the chicken biryani, palak paneer, and that rich, creamy butter chicken. Oh, and they mostly use chicken thighs! So tender and moist! I keep telling myself I'll try something different... then I walk back with the exact same favorites. No regrets. We also ordered the mango lassi, and it was fantastic! Just a little tip: it comes with ice by default, so if you prefer it without ice, just let them know when ordering. The food quality has been consistently excellent every time we've visited, and the service has always been warm and attentive. Another thing I enjoy is how peaceful the dining room is. It's not loud or chaotic. Everyone seems completely focused on the important business of enjoying their food. A couple of helpful tips: the buffet is dine-in only, so you can't pack up buffet food to take home. If you're ordering takeout, you'll need to order from the regular menu instead. They also offer children's pricing for the buffet, so if you're unsure about the details, just give them a quick call. If you're craving great Indian food without emptying your wallet, Diwan continues to be one of my favorite AYCE spots. Highly recommended!

Fresh puri and plenty of sauces, fresh rice and a very nice spread of Indian favorites. I really enjoyed everything they had to offer and especially the vegetarian options such as dhal and paneer. Great service and the only caveat is that any naan is purchased separately as it's not included in the ayce price. You can also just order fresh plates of any combination off their à la carte menu. We opted for the lunch buffet and were very satisfied and both price point and quality were excellent. The restaurant itself is nice with great ambiance and plenty of seating. There's also plenty of beverage options. We've been back twice already and anticipate many more visits.

It's also great that they offer zabiha halal options, which makes it more accessible and comfortable to order from. The food itself is where they shine. The biryani is especially good--aromatic, fresh, and well-layered in flavor. The haleem is rich, hearty, and very satisfying, and dishes like the keema luqmi also feel freshly made and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell there's real effort behind the savory items. That said, the menu feels a bit unfocused now. With the addition of things like Chinese dishes and smoothies, it starts to feel a little scattered instead of staying true to its Hyderabadi identity, which is a bit confusing as a customer. The decor is very modern and clean, but it doesn't really reflect the cultural richness of the cuisine--something more traditional like places such as Sunshine Restaurant would've suited it better. On the downside, the desserts were also not a hit for me--they leaned too sweet and didn't feel as balanced as the savory dishes.

From rich and smoky to spicy, tangy, creamy, and refreshing. Banjara Tikka brought tender chicken thighs layered with yogurt, fried onion and garlic. Mauryaji Basket Chaat delivered chickpeas, potato, tamarind, mint, pomegranate and a creamy yogurt mousse. The Chicken Seekh Kebab was perfectly seasoned and savory with pickled laccha onion, while the Guntur Chilli Chicken Bao turned up the heat with Guntur red chili, sesame and refreshing beetroot shikanji shots. The vegetarian dishes absolutely held their own as well. Chilli Momo with carrot, sesame and seaweed, came out with a soft, delicate bite and a subtle chew, filled with a lightly spiced vegetable mix that leaned savory and aromatic rather than overpowering heat. The Paneer Makhni was rich, velvety, and deeply comforting. The paneer stayed soft and pillowy, soaking up a buttery tomato-cashew gravy that was slightly sweet, gently tangy, and finished with that unmistakable fenugreek aroma that tied everything together. The mains were just as unforgettable. Laal Maas came in bold and unapologetic. Tender goat slow-cooked until it practically melted off the bone, swimming in a deep, smoky gravy built on mathania chilies that brought slow heat. The Shrimp Malai Curry was the complete opposite in tone. Silky coconut milk wrapped around plump tiger shrimp, with Bengali whole spices adding a gentle sweetness and aromatic depth that made the dish feel light yet indulgent at the same time. And somehow dessert still had room to impress. Rose Kulfi was creamy, floral and sweet without being overwhelming. Drinks included everything from the floral, mezcal-and-rooza Gulabo to Mango Lassi. And as someone who historically doesn't like anything rose flavored, I enjoyed both the drink AND the dessert. Just as good as the food, was the service.
