We went to 'Tiles Gone Wild' not knowing exactly what we wanted to do with 1,400 sq feet of our condo flooring that we hated and needed to replace. We went to two other places first= actually no help. Finally found Chris Bates at Tiles Gone Wild. Professional and very knowledgeable, he found us exactly what we wanted. Stay away from this place When I ordered the tile there was plenty of stock but all of a sudden none was available. But lucky for me the owner found some of the same tile at a new York warehouse at doulbe the cost when I cancelled the order all of a sudden the original warehouse had the tile at the original price. These people are in need of psychiatric help. The sales people are beyond rude-- more like downright mean. Also their bid was a non-starter-- they wanted $9K to tile a shower stall. I paid half for the same fancy tile at Floors & Decor and had a local tile man do the job beautifully. Total cost (including new plumbing) was about $4K. If you like being treated like dirt and paying twice the going rate this is the store for you! read more

I had a great experience ordering vinyl plank flooring for my kitchen and living room with Tiles Gone Wild! The sample sizes were wonderful (large), so I could really see how the material looked in my home. Chris was extremely helpful describing the products, the pros and cons of different materials, and the entire installation process. Answered all my questions. He was also able to take measurements and provide me with multiple quotes very quickly. When I did place my order, TGW delivered it to my home in less than two weeks, which was amazing. Two awful experiences with them. Quoted a job with maple flooring from them, got the job, and went to order materials -- they changed the price on me and said they made a mistake, but would not honor their original quote. Thought this was a fluke. Next up, sent a customer to them to order tile for floors and shower areas. They quoted 7 days to get materials and $3/ sq ft or so. Then called customer and said they could no longer use that tile supplier, it would take 4 weeks, and the cost doubled! This place is a total bait and switch routine which has embarrassed me and hurt my business as a local contractor. Even refused to take back unopened stock grout as it "is temperature and moisture sensitive and we don't know how you stored it" for the last two weeks. PS. tile display is still up with original lower price a month later. I had never read their yelp reviews until I needed their phone number.. when I saw they do this stuff all the time, I could hardly believe they are still in business!!! Go anywhere else! read more

Stay away from this place is right!!! The Owner, Art, is a sh%t bag. They screwed up my shower tiles and drain - and would not stand by their work. Water was leaking through my dining room ceiling, coming out of the DR light. He never came once except for the initial measurement. When I deciding to use his company or not - He showed me photo albums of all this gorgeous installation work his company had done. It looked great, so I decided to use him. When it's time for the installation, he sends his Son (inexperienced) to do the tiling (it looks like crap) and some other half-assed kid to do the wood floor. When my Wife first called him to discuss the water was gushing through my dining room light/ceiling (directly under shower drain), he said it's not his responsibility, said "eff you" and hung up on her. Echoing other reviewers that I would leave a 0 rating if possible. We bought tile for our kitchen backsplash from Tiles Gone Wild, received the boxes of tile and when the time came to install them, we noticed that an entire box included cracked and chipped tile that was not useable. While TGW exchanged the tile, their staff were extremely disrespectful and rude, telling us that it was our fault for not checking. They made it clear that they do not quality check their products even though it ships to their facility directly. We had to incur additional labor costs for the installation of the backsplash because of this oversight by their staff, and they did nothing to correct it. As an "expert" in the industry, this company should know to implement quality processes and should correct situations where this happens. read more

The most horrific service and sales I have ever received. Went in with my husband to see if they had a replacement tile for our current bathroom, and check out options for a bathroom we are adding. All questions were met with a one word response. No attempt to offer any insight or ideas. We brought our 20 month old daughter with us, and when we walked in, a sales person was on his phone and held up his hand as if to tell us to stay back. Found some tiles we liked from our own browsing around, but will purchase elsewhere. Incredibly rude. Not sure how they get any business, and I'm not one to typically review or complain. read more

I'm not sure I've ever experienced a salesperson ruder than the woman who first ignored me when I entered and then just got ruder and ruder. They do have a good selection and I was shown exactly what I was looking for by another sales person who appeared but I was glad to leave and will find my tile somewhere else. read more

Be sure to do your own math if you order tiles from TGW. We gave them our measurements and they had us order much more than we needed and then refused to let us return the extra sheets. This was not just the extra you usually order for cutting, etc. but an amount that wasn't even close. read more

A pleasure to work with from start to finish. The showroom is awesome! Chris was extremely helpful in helping me pick out my shower tile (marble subway with glass/marble square accent strip) and luxury vinyl flooring for the bathroom. The installers were absolutely professional - great job and thorough clean-up afterward each day. Then, my husband changed his mind about a small strip where he thought he would use baseboard, and they cheerfully came back and finished it off and even reapplied the sealant. I highly recommend them! In addition, we know many people in town that have had an excellent experience with them. read more

Do not do business with TGW unless you feel like tossing your hard earned money away. Everything is pretty much a special order so you have to pay extra for shipping on everything. If you come up short and need few more more tiles you have to order a whole box and pay for shipping again. Also ordered extra which I never even picked up and not only had to pay for the tile but shipping too. Told them to throw the tile in the garbage.The garbage is where this place belongs. Very bad experience with these folks. We presented the measurements for a new backsplash. They sold us 50% more tile than we needed and then refused to allow us to return the excess. Very poor service and very questionable business practice. We plan to make a formal complaint. read more

My wife and I selected glass tile from Tiles Gone Wild, and were promptly told that we'd have to pay $1,200 in advance to get it ordered, which we did. MONTHS later and many calls to TGW we finally got the word the tiles were in. We arranged to have them picked up, and began to make arrangements for the installer to come to our NH property. He asked if we had the grout and caulking yet, to which we said we would return to TGW to pick up these supplies, which we also did for an additional $55+. When the craftsman showed up as scheduled (about 30 days later), he informed us that the grout was the wrong material. It should have been unsanded, not sanded grout, as the sanded grout would not be conducive to the glass material and tight seams. Being so far away, we picked up the correct grout elsewhere and completed the job (which looks great). When we went back to TGW to return the unopened grout material, we were told they would not take it back nor issue us a credit. After spending $1,200+ with them, and the months they sat on our full-pay deposit, and given the absence of their counsel regarding sanded vs. unsanded (which proved inconvenient), I couldn't believe they wouldn't take back the grout & caulking on the grounds it may have spoiled due to climate factors beyond their control. In fact, they said their policy calls for returns to made within 24 hours. How silly. Anyhow, this company does not know what good customer service looks like, and therefore in my opinion barely deserves a single star. I cannot recommend this place and even our carpenter has stopped using them because of a string of problems he's had with them. It's no wonder some businesses go under. With their disregard for customer satisfaction, here's one that may experience the same fate. read more
