As a confirmed caffeine junkie I have to be honest. Whenever new places open up there is always a mad rush to try it out. Tim Hortons included. I was excited to come and try this place out. It could have waited, though better than in Toronto a few years back still not worth rushing there. Pros- prime location on the corner of Victory Blvd & Richmond Ave, 24/7 drive thru and the muffins were ok and lots of staff to get your order done. Had the breakfast sandwich. Loved the cheesy biscuit. The wife got the bacon wrap which was palatable. Our combos were supposed to come with hash browns but there was a wait so we replaced it with a blueberry and red velvet muffin. Now the cons. We both ordered medium coffees. Definitely not a fan of their coffee, it seemed watered down to me. I could understand if it was iced but it was hot. There is lot of competition for coffee in the area. Maybe I will try again but I won't go out of my way. read more

Really good donuts, really fresh and tasty. As soon as you see them its like there own version of Christmas lights and just light up so beautiful ! Not crazy about the cappuccinos they make, the taste is kind of weird and not sure if its just the brand of coffee they use. 24 hour drive thru - LOVE IT! You can go inside and eat and hang out theres a lot of room to sit and also TVs. I go for the donuts only in my opinion and I love them! There so good! TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK! I wanted to enjoy fresh donuts or muffins or Preferably cupcakes. Looking on Yelp for great places I decided, instead of driving out to this place and having a bad experience let me call, The employee told me that "their rocking over there" with a bunch of freshly made donuts and such, so pressed for time we pull up and I immediately thought it was Dunkin donuts. If it wasn't for the name on the top of the stores I would've sworn I was walking in dunkin donuts (tim's must of bought the place out) looking at the selection I wasnt pleased I didn't see unique donuts (You know, like the ones you see on carnival eats) but that place was my last option. I ordered a box of 12 donuts for like $14. (That day I was looking to pay like $40 for ones I desired) Not to take away from the place they did have plenty of donuts there, and they were friendly, and for the most part the donuts looked good but tasted ok! I'm a big time coffee lover so I was excited and looking forward to finally trying Tim Hortons coffee. This new location in Staten Island, is a 24 hour location and has a drive-thru. The place is nice inside, it's nicely decorated, neat and clean. Unfortunately, the coffee was not good. I ordered the salted caramel iced latte. It was terrible. So I immediately returned it and asked for a regular iced coffee, which didn't taste good either. My friend ordered a hot chocolate. It was just alright. The donut display looked yummy. The food menu looked quite enticing. I may go back for lunch to try those out. However, I won't be ordering coffee here! read more

I think their cups are smaller than the Tim Hortons' locations in Buffalo and Canada... But I still love Tim Hortons! I'm so happy they opened here! Lucky for me I work in the area.. not too close, but I would go out of my way here to grab a cup of coffee or panini. Tim Hortons offers donuts, muffins, sandwiches, paninis, soups, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc etc. I used to love their cafe mochas, but some locations don't have that on their menu or don't know how to make it good. UPDATED: I did add a star since my last visit but like a previous reviewer said I do not like the inconsistency. The hot cocoa was HEAVENLY and doughnuts were SUPER soft in the middle which was a huge plus. I would also highly recommend french vanilla cappuccino. I feel like TIm Hortons is only really good and fresh in the morning, as the day progresses the quality regresses. ________________________________________________________________ I was so happy to hear that Tim Hortons was opening on Staten Island as I was a HUGE fan of it when I was in Canada! I would assume it was because we went in the late evening and the coffee wasn't freshly brewed. Huge disappointment, also it wasn't served in the holiday cups which was a bummer too since they are so darn cute. Timbits: SUPER SWEET but not in a good way, definitely not how it was in Canada....another bummer. Fruit Explosion Muffin: HEAVENLY! It tasted so fresh and a great texture, I really enjoyed it! Service: The girls who were working drive-thru where so friendly! It such a pleasant change from all the other coffee shops on Staten Island. Last night at about 9:15 p.m 11/21/2019. I went through the drive thru. All I ordered was a sandwich. I was told I had to wait in the parking lot. There were no spots in the lot. I just left Dialysis so I didn't feel well That's why I went there to use the dive thru. The man who took my order never came into the parking lot and let me stay there 20 minutes. I had to go inside and ask him where is my food. He had forgotten all about me. My sandwich was never even made. He didn't even recognize me. The man who took my order wouldn't even talk to me. This is a great little place on Staten Island. Their Nutella bites are AHHH-mazing. Idk about their coffee because I haven't tried it yet. I haven't been to any other locations so I can't compare. Their frozen vanilla drink is "ehh" it's pretty much a milkshake minus the milk but with an icy texture (I'd rather the smoothness of a shake) but the bakery items are so FRESH. N the place is really cute with free wifi. And I LOVE the fact that they are open 24 hours. read more

I haven't sampled a wide fare from this particular location, but what I have eaten I've thoroughly enjoyed. You go to Tim Horton's for 2 things: donuts and Timbits. I have never had a complaint about either. Plus, I had breakfast for the first time this past week, and I can tell you that they make a mean sausage biscuit. Better than McDonald's, in fact. Contrary to the experiences of other reviewers, I actually think their customer service is relatively efficient and prompt, especially if you're ordering via drive thru, which I would recommend. I love this place! I don't like inconsistency. First time I went I got a muffin and a coffee. Good. Nothing to complain about. Same day I got lunch the chipotle steak and cheese. Yummy. Another time I got the steak and eggs sandwich. Really friggen tasty. They put it in the panini press. Now I hate when I go back at time. (Different staff) and things are different. Same two items. The donuts were no better than the ones you pick up at a super market. However they were not awful just not what you'd expect from a place that is called a bake shop. After a a few trips here I have to say there wasn't any bad experience yet. The place is clean and the line are very short. I don't drink coffee or smoked for about 3 years strong. I usually go and grab donuts for the co-workers often. Ans their donuts are pretty good as compared to other places! Their choices in donuts are great! Its a donut and coffee shop. I got a frozen caramel cappuccino because I miss coffee coolattas from Dunkin and it was pretty close, but too sweet. The donut flavors were creative, but the donuts themselves quality/taste-wise are about the same as Dunkin or Country. Not terrible, but nothing special. read more

Their bakery is much fresher and has more variety than any Dunkin Donuts on the island. Although I'm not big on donuts, every now and then I'll have a coconut one and they're great here. What I really like is their lemon poppy muffins. I haven't tried one I haven't liked, but that definitely stands as my favorite. Their coffee has always been fresh and their tea is good as well. I've had the hot chocolate once and while it was nothing special, it at least wasn't watery or even greasy like at most other places. Generally, I don't eat the food so other than the occasional muffin, I don't have much to say. I drink black coffees and rarely iced, but once or twice I have gotten it with chocolate whipped cream as a little pick me up. This is the only place I know of that actually has chocolate whipped cream, so it's nice to have the option. My friends all like their specialty drinks, although I've never tried them. There is a decent amount of parking. There is also a drive through, although it is pretty tight. They didn't build the place though, so you can't fault them for something that is out of their hands. read more

Dunkin better get its act together. Tim has them beat in every way. Coffee actually has taste. Donuts are flavorful, Dunkin can't say that anymore. (They used to be). Sandwiches are better. I used to be an avid customer of Dunkin and as the slogan suggests it was part of my daily routine, however ever since Tim Horton has opened I have to say my routine has taken a turn for the better. The staff over at Tim Hortons was friendly and very helpful with their explanation. And unlike Dunkin the donuts are made fresh in house every few hours. And after reading the previous review I was expecting the coffee to be bitter and dreadful but to a pleasant surprise my cappuccino came out wonderful. Overall the donuts were spot on ( A delightful balance between sweet and savory) and the coffee was well made and not burnt. Sorry Dunkin I found a new spot. read more

Hubby and I decided to give this place a try and we enjoyed it very much. I find their donuts to taste much fresher than DD. I also am not a big coffee drinker so if I do tend to drink something it's usually a latte. We ordered the caramel latte, a strawberry donut and a honey dip donut. The latte tasted delicious and it was Nice and sweet like I like it. Where do o begin with the donut?!! It was so scrumptious and the dough was so soft on the inside and tasted so fresh! Yummmm!!
