They are very friendly and the technicians are very professional however. We used them to do electrical wiring for our basement, it was two new breakers to install three light switches and a dozen led light boxes, just under 7k. They were supposed to do plumbing of a bathroom sewage pump, valve for a softener to drain, and shower install with a rough out for a sink, 9k. They miss-scheduled the appointment for plumbing and instead of just saying oops let's fix that they spent their time telling me I scheduled Monday and Tuesday and it's a two day appointment so that's why I am receiving multiple reminders for my appointment on Monday and Tuesday to start, despite my repeating it is Tuesday and Wednesday because I would not be home on Monday as I told the tech who did the estimate. The electrical part they would not take payment for until they finished the job despite my request to pay as they go. Since it requires the plumbing team to finish first they said they would come back when their plumbers finished, still daily texts and calls to schedule the final electrical which according to their tech couldn't be done until the plumbing THEY were scheduled to do. Their AI based system is terrible. Their work is quality and their human customer service team is frustrating but friendly. We canceled the plumbing and now will cancel the finish work for electric as well. Too expensive to justify these annoyances in my opinion. We were convinced to buy their service plan for our ac and electric, not sure what that really gives us but we won't be using it now anyway. I'd caution anyone from using them without a few estimates first.

We live in an old house, so it sadly came with the territory and we had to hire their services for repairs that were beyond our skill level. Our trust with them came to a screeching halt when the time came that I needed to speak with management. We've had an almost 3-year HVAC issue, where five different technicians kept doing leak searches (and charged us for all of them) with no offers for long-term solutions. After my initial call to hopefully address this, it took about a week for them to send me a text offering the minimum possible resolution without even speaking to me. Conveniently, the call-back number they sent didn't work, either. It just goes to show that their management doesn't have the professionalism or courage to have actual conversations with loyal customers. They all hide behind the veil of their customer experience team who unfortunately don't make the decisions. Not bad at all considering the company is Madison County based. The tech was super friendly and courteous (and didn't at all mind are pups wild behavior upon his arrival). He was able to quickly determine that the issue was our thermostat kicking on the A/C rather than the furnace. From there, he took a look at our digital thermostat and recognized that the issue rooted from some settings misconfigured in an internet reset. He fixed those issues AND rewired the set up to prevent it from happening again. All told, the visit lasted maybe 30 minutes and the issue was diagnosed and repaired. The real kicker? As I pulled out my checkbook, I was told that the entire visit fell under diagnostic service, which was being offered free as part of a promotion they were having! Many other companies wouldn't have thought twice and charged us hourly rates for the rewiring that took a matter of moments or, at the very least, tried to upsell me on a bunch of services we didn't need. So, we greatly appreciate their honesty! So, in conclusion, if you're looking for a good, ethical company with reasonable rates (not to mention awesome deals and promotions), quick service, and courteous techs, then don't think twice about calling Meldon HVAC! As new homeowners, they are now our go-to people for heating and cooling services.

Air-Pros came out to fix our A/C last spring and did a wonderful job. Actually, the initial visit didn't get the issue fixed, but they were very good about getting back out and making it right - and not at my expense. That's just life, not everything works the first time. What makes great customer services is how you deal with issues like this, and they were wonderful. I should have done a review then, but didn't. Today JR was back out to look at our furnace that wouldn't start. Found the issue quickly, fixed it and refused to let me pay for the visit. They certainly will always get any of my business, and I will highly recommend them to our neighbors, family and friends. Quality work from quality people!
