I had a completely different experience than everyone else it seems. We were sat in the patio area. There was a strange odor, but we tried to ignore it. Only after the AC started dripping on me and I mentioned to the waiter, was I informed that it's because the windows are open because they cleaned the grease traps yesterday. Visited this place with family from florida. Great food and excellent service. I had the beef brisket with fries and baked beans. Deffinently given my money's worth with the amount of brisket they gave. The beans were surprisingly delicious and I deffinently plan on stopping by again. So we ordered the Buffalo shrimp as an appetizer...absolutely delicious...juciy big shrimp perfectly cooked & battered very lightly. Loved it...I ordered the house salad which was very large I would have loved it smaller. The bison chili was tasty but needed more spice...so I added Tabasco...would have loved it it came with some "fixins" sour cream,cheese,green onions...the wings were good overall. The restaurant was very clean. We got the tater skins for our appetizer and they were HUGE! Would feed 8 people. The chicken pot pie was one of the best that we have had. We have eaten here a dozen or so times. We stay near by so sometimes we get take out. We dined in this time. We got their Buffalo wings, Hot Rocks Bacado Burger and Bacon Mac & Cheese Burger. The wings were pretty good. The first thing we did is pick the uncooked bacon off of our burgers. The Mac & Cheese Burger was very bland. I had eaten three or four bites of my Hot Rocks Bacado Burger when my husband told me to STOP eating! It was very dark in the restaurant and I was busy talking instead of paying attention to what I was eating. I looked down and my burger was 90 % raw. I literally felt nauseous when I saw it. I told the waiter. He apologized and offered another one. I told him that I was full from the wings and fries and I was fine. He insisted, so I accepted. Must have been frozen before they deep fried them. Klondike burger was decent but way over cooked. It was well done. The Boursin cheese was just heaped on top, the caramelized bacon jam was not existent and the tobacco onions were just onion rings. The dish itself is missing some things. My wife ate the two forks kickin' chicken. She liked it overall. It had good breading and flavor. It was over cooked and a little tough to cut. My 16 month old ate the chicken tenders. My only criticism of that was they only gave 2 chicken tenders and charged on average $2 more than every other restaurant in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. What's the deal? While on a small weekend getaway in Gatlingburg, we had to try this place! It was a hit with the fiancée. We started with the Gold Nuggets! They were amazing! I could have eaten a couple of baskets of these creamy smoked macaroni bites. I love seafood so I ordered the Fish & Chips. Not a bad choice. The fish was fried just right & was cod if I'm not mistaken. It came with a side of golden shoe string fries & a house made tartar sauce that was delicious!!
