Most disappointing place we've eaten at since moving to the area. The service was pretty terrible and the food not worth the price. We chose this place because we were looking to go out for breakfast on a Saturday morning and seeing the great reviews we chose this place. But shocker of all shockers...they ARE NOT kid friendly AT ALL. So stay away if you are looking for a family friendly place to enjoy a meal and a non judgey environment if you have young kids (well behaved btw), which in my book it's every diner on the planet...who knew? So weird being that this area is full of young families. They have no kids menu and when I asked for a booster seat I got a blank stare. When I asked if they had any crayons, the waiter laughed and said "no" in a very disgusted manner. Would give higher stars if the food and coffee would've been good for what they charge, yeah no. Food is A1+.Service excellent. I usually do not eat desert; however, we recently had my son's Birthday Party there for 12 people and Niko made the Baklava cheesecake!!!!! Need I even say more! Such a cake I have never seen nor eaten. It was spectacular... don't know how to describe it. I had the Snapper, which was the special that night. Delightful and such a large portion I had to take half of it home. Another guest had a hamburger and said it was one of the very best. Another had the pastrami sandwich HUGE!!!All thanked me and said they would all return. We're going again tonight and I will try the Spanakopita. I'll let you know I eat out at least 6 days a week and have never written a review. That should tell you something! Btw, I am not a relative nor a friend and not biased. Went for dinner and we had been at the table a little over an hour and told to leave if we were done eating we needed to leave NOW since they had a long line of people waiting which in the end were 2 people waiting. First visit since the remodel. atmosphere is great, decor is awesome. Ordered hot pastrami, was grisly and had to send it back. Manager was right on top of it, swapped it out for hot corned beef which was fantastic!! Loved the pickled tomatoes they served with the sandwich read more

Was visiting the folks and stopped by here, great spot. Had a half chicken and we had a burger and tuna melt. Everything was excellent.

Where should I start? I placed my order and was considering the chilli as well, but I'm a picky chilli eater, so I asked for a sample... I was told the chef does not do samples! Ummm... Okay... The table next to me ordered right after me and asked to get fries instead of something, and the server told them the chef does not allow substitutions. A could next to be got seated and told the server they had 4 more joining them... The server asked them to get up from the table and sit in the corner and wait for the other 4 people... Ummm... Half the restaurant was empty!!! Wtf?! Then when I'm done eating, I get my check, and after I paid, I was checking my emails... The server asked me to move bc they were on a wait! Wow! Seems to be a pretty solid choice, at least for breakfast. Our table of 4 ordered just the basics (omelette, pancakes, etc) and we were pretty satisfied. Food was really good. Service was not good. Waitress was awful. She sped by our table just after we were served and dropped the check. She never asked if we needed the check split, more tea, dessert, a to-go box. Nothing. She acted like she was wished we weren't there. Horrible waitress. I have been here many times for lunch and the food is hit or miss . Decided to try one more time for breakfast and the waitress acted like she could care less about helping us. Went for breakfast , and place was empty. Food ordered and came quickly. Dads meal ... tasteless grits and fatty ham . My pancakes very dry and had to cut with a knife. My husband and I lived in Suntree for a year and never stepped foot in this diner following a slew of negative reviews. On our last weekend before we moved we decided to give it a try. Boy did we feel like jerks because we had a wonderful experience. The place was busy that day but we were greeted politely and accommodated as we had the baby in tow. I ordered the corned need hash benedict- it goes by another name though. Um, it was delicious! That was certainly not canned corned beef and I cannot tell you how I must of looked ravaging that dish. Our server was attentive and the ambiance is unique as large size pictures of outer space adorned the area we were sitting in- as a trekkie I cannot tell you how pleased I was. We were looking for dinner late on a Saturday night. My mom LOVES diners and I hate chain restaurants, so we decided on this place. WOW!!! We will definitely be back!! The waitress, Harriette, was super friendly and made some good suggestions. I went with the seafood alfredo special which was fantastic!! Wide egg noodles were a bit of a surprise, but the sauce was delish and the shrimp and scallops were huge!! My mom got the reuben and it was possibly the best we've have had in a long time (I traded a scallop for a bite of her sandwich). Very lean and plenty of corned beef. The cole slaw on the side had small green tomatoes that were tasty! She couldn't eat the entire sandwich it was so big. My 11 year old got a cheeseburger (they don't have a kids menu). This burger was enormous. She couldn't open her mouth wide enough to bite it. The bun on the burger was something you would find in a bakery. It came with a side of cole slaw and fries, both delish. We were staring down the dessert cooler because they had a cheesecake in there that was the size of a football. Alas, we had no room for one more bite. But on our next visit, we plan to start with dessert. Or breakfast that is served all day (except for pancakes and waffles). The location is right down the street from The Avenues at Viera and the Brevard Zoo which we visit all the time. Would much rather eat here than any place else. Great food. Great atmosphere. Serivce was absolultely horrible! Rude waitress. We WERE there at a busy time, however, we sat 20 minutes without offer of a drink or hearing "I'll be with you in a moment". After getting up and asking for someone to take our order I was chastised by the waitress "that it was a busy time and someone would get to us". No apologies offered. Didn't get a waitperson for at least another 20 minutes. Seemed like a local crowd was eating there and their service was prioritized over walk-ins. My first visit and I brought two friends - I walked in asking for a table while my friends parked. As a waitress got menus another waitress said to her, "let her wait" then added "till the rest get here." Neither spoke to me as I stood there ignored. I went outside and suggested to my friends we go somewhere else. We decided to try it anyway. What I'll remember about this place is that rude "greeting". Not the relaxing lunch I was hoping for. Incredibly uncomfortable and awkward when the wait staff are arguing on the dining room floor. They were so busy arguing the service was inattentive. It was a struggle to get a drink refill, plates were cleared before we were finished eating and a request for separate checks was an obvious inconvenience. The desserts in the case looked good but we were never offered dessert or coffee. The food was so so but was overshadowed by the negative energy and disgruntled employees. Waitstaff very good Food ok. Prices high. Chef attitude certainly NOT compatible with the quality they seem to believe they have. Any substitution requests are treated like dietary infractions. Their version of corned beef sandwich is not worth half the cost and certainly not REAL KOSHER DELI FOOD. Only go there when others choose it. They said they roasted their meat - well they probably roasted a loaf like Dietz & Watson cold cut meats and then slices it like paper. Very salty and a dry. There are enough people back in the kitchen that could be making briskets like the "true" NY style sandwich. Even the plate had a piece of Monterey jack cheese with a bow-tie pasta salad, 2 thinly sliced pickles and less than appealing tomatoes. $15.99 way overpriced!!!!!!!!!!!!! We stopped here after a day at the zoo. What a wonderful place! The menu had lots to choose from. Our server was awesome! Another server gave my sister a "tour" of the dessert display filled with amazing cakes and pies made in the restaurant! We had great food, it arrived quickly, perfectly prepared and the service couldn't have been better! My only complaint is that we live too far to make this a regular stop....but we will definitely stop whenever we head south! read more

Friendly family run diner. Good food with gigantic portions! Come hungry and enjoy the cordial service. My son had chicken fingers and onion rings that would have fed a family of four! I had a delicious shrimp pasta with feta, tomatoes and garlic! My husband enjoyed a perfectly cooked burger and we topped it all off with an amazing strawberry shortcake for dessert! I honestly wish I could give more than five stars. We've been in several times and every time the good and service are fantastic. Today was the best experience yet. My granddad is in a wheelchair and when we take him to restaurants it usually feels like our family is a burden, especially if a table has to be moved or we have to wait for a specific table to become available. Then, the staff looks to my dad to order for my granddad, completely ignoring him like he's not able to do it himself. Not here. As soon as we walked in we were greeted kindly and immediately seated. The host had a chair out of the way before we could blink and Granddad wheeled himself right up. After I ordered the waiter looked to Granddad to order and he was pleased as punch. He thoroughly enjoyed his Ruben (his favorite!) and my pastrami was delicious as well. We have more incentive to eat here more regularly! read more

Yes, the décor of the diner is beautiful, if only the personality of the owners matched it. Don't ask for any substitutions, because you won't get it! And on the rare occasion that you do (If one of the owners are not watching), you will not get it again another day. When you ask for creamer for your coffee, you will be getting the left overs from the ewer that was served to another table an hour earlier (warm, and all). Let me not forget the hot pastrami sandwich that I ordered that was served on French toast!!!! And when I called to complain about it, I was told that that was how the line cook (I refuse to refer to such an ignorant person as a chef, nor have I seen his credentials to earn him that title) wanted it served that day. Anything can change (including hours of operation) from day to day. The servers there bad mouth the way the establishment is run because they can't stand it either. Derogatory remarks regarding religion are openly stated to customers. The food is way over priced, while the quality is less than mediocre. If you ask for extra of anything, know that you will be charged. So the miniscule amount of cream cheese they give you for your bagel, you will definitely want more and they will charge you $1.50 more. The owner and his wife have absolutely no idea how to run a neighborhood business. It is their way or the highway (and I mean that for the customers). They will cut corners, even at the health expense of the customers, to pinch a penny. They have no sense of loyalty, even to returning customers and absolutely no pride or integrity in regards to their behaviors and how they treat people. read more

Scallops were overcooked, sauce was tasteless and served 5 scallops on small toast rounds to make them look bigger. Very disappointed. Time Square Diner is my favorite restaurant in all of Viera! Food is absolutely delicious, well prepared, fresh. Restaurant is beautiful and clean and service and staff very friendly! My favorite server is the Greek lady who co-owns the restaurant with her husband. Food is always plentiful and there are choices for all: from seafood, to pasta, sandwiches and burgers. Dropped by Saturday evening to give this place a try. Arrived after the rush. Menu is classic diner food. We were seated. A busboy asked if we'd like a drink. We asked about their beer and he said he'd have to get a waitress. We waited 5 min. A women walked passed, patted me on the back and said she'd be right with us. We waited another 15 min. My husband noticed that waitress was standing at the front door chatting with customers. Never came back to us. After 18 minutes we left.
