Very over priced for what you get. The sandwiches don't come with fries. Thats an extra $5. The side it comes with is coleslaw. The other sides are a separate price. The desserts and cake looked really good but, for me $8. is a lot for a piece of cake. I'm giving this a 2 star because the Waldorf salad sandwich i had was good but. My family decided to try this place. It turned out to be something you would see in "Kitchen Nightmares" with Gordon Ramsey. The service was ok but the kitchen seemed very disorganized. One of our dishes we ordered sat on the counter in plain view for 10 minutes waiting for the rest of the order. Once the food arrived it was greasy and the portions were completely oversized which in turn was reflected in the price (way too high). Sad to say but we won't be back. read more

Wow what a great stop the other night. We were on our way to the Keys from Charleston and searched this out on Yelp. Great find. Let me start by saying, best service I've had in a long time. The daughter of the owner, I think Maria, was passionate about her job, the food, and so proud of her dad. She was amazing, and her dad, the chef, came outside where we were eating and chatted with us, he was great and his food, even better, we had chicken lemon soup that was amazing and split a beef brisket sandwich with latke and deli salad and let me tell you.... portion humongous, the flavors- insane. Wow! Atmosphere is excellent. Indoor and outdoor seating. We were not sure what to expect. I ordered the pastrami Reuben sandwich with onion rings. My wife ordered the spinach pie. And we shared a holiday bread pudding for dessert. The sandwich was amazing. Bread was filled with so much flavor and toasted just right. The pastrami was pretty thin cut, but amazing quality. It melted in my mouth. Just the right amount of thousand island and sauerkraut. But word of caution...it was HUGE! It will also be lunch tomorrow. Portions are extra large. The onion rings? I rarely get them because most places can't prepare them correctly. When you bite hard into onion ring the onion should bite cleanly in two. It should not all pull out of the breading. These were perfect. Crispy outside. Onions perfectly cooked and tasty. They bit in two and left no aftertaste. Just excellent. I really don't like spinach, but the spinach pie looked so good I was tempted to try a bite! Again, large portion. My wife loved it. Perfectly done with seasonings, texture, flavor. But wait...dessert. The cinnamon bread pudding with homemade peppermint ice cream was the perfect way to finish the meal. Presentation (see pictures) was amazing. The ice cream was wonderful. The bread pudding was wonderful. And the size was perfect to split between us. Highly highly recommend Time Square Diner. To say it is one of the best in the area is an understatement. Had diner here tonight with my daughter. It was fantastic! Server was friendly and attentive. I asked about the brisket and the owner came to tell me how it was prepared. Delicious. I previously had a good experience at this place, but today I did a pick up order and when I got there the food was ready but they were waiting on the OJ. Waited 5 mins, walked back in and still no OJ. The hostess kept saying "we're waiting on the fresh squeezed OJ" and 3 mins later I guy walks in with a Publix bag and 2 bottles of Florida's Natural OJ. I paid $4.25 for that "fresh-squeezed" OJ... and I bought 2! Had I known it was regular OJ, I would've left with warm food and just cancelled the OJ. If there's one thing I hate, it's dishonesty. On top of that, our steaks were overcooked. We asked for medium and for well done. Never again. I usually have only been here for breakfast or brunch, but I usually always get the ham, cheddar and spinach omelette. The ham used are nice ham cubes seems like it is cut from an actual ham hock (Not any of that packaged ham), Home fries (cube potatoes) and Corn Beef n hash (which is made from scratch). I called the day before as we always ask for their dinner menu for lunch. They always say YES, but was just making sure! Rachel helped me On the phone! She didn't rush me and was so helpful! We weren't coming until the next day! And WOW, they were waiting for us! We had a handicapped Man with us and wanted Him to be seated in comfort! He Certainly was, the service gals were the BEST! Just moved to the area and needed somewhere to grab a quick breakfast. This place did the trick quite well. Plenty of choices on the menu, huge portions and some of the best coffee I've had at a restaurant in a while. Order a simple breakfast of scrambled with cheese, home fries, bacon and a biscuit. The hubs and I have heard great things about them. Decided to try them out for brunch. My husband ordered the special of fish and chips. I ordered the pancakes with eggs and bacon. The fish and chips had a thick undercooked, slightly sweet batter (Don't think it should have been sweet) my pancakes seemed thick and slightly raw (gummy). To my surprise I cut a piece and asked my hubs to try it (so he wouldn't think I was just complaining) there was a long strand of hair cooked into the pancakes. . The server came by and apologized, I knew it wasn't his fault but I was very disgusted. He let me know he would take it off our check. (No , surly you didn't expect me to pay for hair in my food) he came over again to see if we wanted refills or something, I asked him if the manger isn't coming over. I was told the manager was prepping food. a young lady came over saying she was the Mgr. on duty, and stated they were not charging for any of our meals, but also stated we are in a food service setting and should expect hair in our food from time to time. I have to give this place 5 stars. The food was delicious, the portions were HUMONGOUS, and the prices were reasonable. The service was great as well. I was watching everyone's plates coming out and my jaw kept dropping at the portions. Each plate was enough for two full meals. We were looking for a diner headed to the beach, seen the good reviews so we stopped there and it was the best decision we made. We were seated outside for dinner, when we noticed mice running around outside on the patio right under our feet. Of course we jumped up and moved, our waitress noticed them also. We told the manager/owner , he didn't care. He stated it was our fault because we chose to sit outside! We could not believe it! He refused to comp our meals. We notified the health department and they did an inspection and fined them. Apparently this was the third complaint. Inspector is scheduled to go back in 7 days. The inspector also noticed that they were storing raw food over cooked food. DO NOT EAT HERE. read more
