Some diners pound thin pieces of chicken to the point it's so thin that it is overdone in the time it takes to get the breading crisp. Not Brookside. They produce a perfect chicken fried chicken, nice and crispy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. I noticed a chalk board listing the specials. The day we were there, it was meatloaf.
