Took 10 minutes for someone to come up and when they did they said they would get someone to take our order. 5minutes later someone finally came to take our drink order. Didn't have a good food experience when they first opened, I decided to take a chance and order some chicken nachos. For $14 the waitress told us it was a large portion. Not only was it not big but the chicken was not grilled but tasted rubbery like it was over microwaved. And the chicken was in long strips and not bite size. That didn't matter because we sent it back. The staff was very pleasant and I can see the attraction if you want a beer and watch a game but eat before you go. read more

I ate dinner at Timothy's shortly after it opened almost two years ago and back then, the food was blah. Since so much time has passed, figured I'd give it a try-this time for lunch and it was even worse than I remembered. I ordered the 'cowboy chicken wrap' with sweet potato fries as the side. First off, they provide free chips and queso which is great...except the chips are stale. The Cowboy chicken sounded like it had flavor; Cajun chicken with tangy bbq sauce. It tasted like somebody just boiled a chicken and stuck it in a wrap with limp lettuce. Tasteless! And the sweet potato fries were definitely prefrozen - they were cold and again, was tasteless. I will never eat here again. They have a lot of big screen TVs and 30 beers so that's all it's good for. read more

Things have definitely improved since the visit from my last review. I work close by and have been here twice since. My most recent visit was for a going away lunch and the server was great. Friendly and attentive but not intrusive. He took some pictures for us as well, which was very kind. Food was good and everyone had a nice time. Glad to see that some restaurants can take some constructive criticism and use it to make the experience better for their customers. Thanks! read more

Terrible! We all had such high hopes for this restaurant and what a disappointment! The menu is completely uninspiring--basic does not do it justice. The food is average at best and the service is horrific! Slowest service I have seen in a restaurant in a long time. We had a big party there last week and our waiter never came back one time to even refill our water. We had to hunt him down to get the check as we needed to get our children at school. I've tried it three times to give it the benefit of the doubt and have come to the conclusion that this place is a major disappointment. read more

Honestly this would have probably been a 3 star review except for the waiter trying to weasel a 30% tip out of me. I stopped there with my girlfriend about an hour before closing on a slow (read empty) night. We ordered a couple of one of their specialty cocktails and some wings. The drinks were pretty good, if a little small, but ended up being a little pricier than I'd hoped. Our waiter was very friendly when taking our order. Our wings came out overdone and rubbery and we very politely asked if they could redo them. This is a very rare occurrence for us. Waiter was very apologetic and had a fresh order to us in no time. This time they were very good and the fries were pretty tasty too. Our check came and it was something like $30.30. I gave two $20 bills and the waiter looked at them and asked if I needed change. I'm a generous tipper but not that generous! He said no problem and went to ring it up. He brought me back a $10 bill for my change, clearly eating the 30 cents in the hopes that I'd just leave the $10. At this point I was annoyed and as luck would have it I had some smaller bills with me so he ended up with less than he would have received if he'd just brought the proper change. First impressions can be a bitch so I won't be returning to Timothy's. read more

Really not good at all. I couldn't even imagine this food tasting good if I was to drunk to stand. I don't know who the chefs are but they need to taste their food because it's absolutely disgusting. The service at this location was absolutely horrible. The management does not know how to handle customer service. Not only did they lose my business, but my friends business as well. We dine at this location weekly and we're extremely disappointed in the service we received by the waitress, then when the manager assisted with the issue he didn't not value the customer, had a very poor attitude, and still proceeded to over charge instead of taking care of the customer. Also, they are consistently out of items on the menu. Please share because they truly do not value a good customer. read more

Tried Timothy's for the 1st time. Nice atmosphere, lots of tvs. Service was good but the food, not so much. They bring out tortilla chips and cheese sauce, nice touch opposed to chips and salsa. We were going to order nachos as an app, but with the chips and cheese decided not to. I started with French Onion soup. Nice and "cheesy" but way too over garnished with fresh chopped parsley (scallion would have been a better choice). It was light on the onions that lacked caramelization, the broth lacked the richness typical of a good onion soup. My wife skipped an app and had BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich served with hand cut fries (nice touch) and coleslaw. The fires were cold and almost limp, the pork was barely warm and fatty, understandable for pulled pork but the kitchen should pay attention to detail when plating. Not sure if the cold food was a service of kitchen issue. It is hard to have fries cold out of the fryer, but since the pork was cold, I'm leaning toward a kitchen issue. I had an Italian Margherita Pizza with JUMBO LUMP crabmeat. The dough was good, chewy but not crisp (although it also was barely warm so perhaps it came out of the oven crisper than when I got it. ). Supposedly was to be roasted tomato sauce, tasted more like a canned product and was also overly abundant, almost "slopped' on the crust. There was no evidence of drizzled olive oil and the chopped fresh basil and thrown on after coming out of the oven, not backed on. Paying extra for JUMBO LUMP crab I expected JUMBO LUMP crab. I did find ONE lump of crab, but the rest of the crab was more like backfin and perhaps special grade. Really, really disappointed in the pizza in whole. If you can't do a good pizza, then don't do pizza. Back to the pulled pork, the waitress apologized and two managers on separate occasions came to apologize. They took it off the bill. My wife then ordered the French Dip which was served with hot crisp fries. Because of the atmosphere, we might go back for a 2nd try at some time but definitely won't get pizza. read more

Excellent, friendly, swift service. Clean, lively atmosphere. Amazing beer selection. I have eaten here several times with my family and loved it every time. Very family friendly. The best dishes include Shrimp and Seafood Chowder (so rich and creamy), yummy Fish and Chips with awesome homemade coleslaw, fantastic and very unique Autumn Chicken (perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet), and an INCREDIBLE Prime Rib on the weekends. My kids love their pizza and their grilled flats. read more

Very loud music and poor acoustics despite for the fact that we asked to sit very far from the live music, subpar service where the waitress was overly casual and mildly disinterested, and very average food. I mean, how can you serve bad nachos? That feels like a meal no one should be able to make poorly? Still better than PJ Welinghan's but still will not return. read more

Misleading college football drink specials advertised on table as $5 beer pitchers. College football was on the many televisions and we were told special didn't start until 8:00. There was no indication of this so we challenged manager who said fine print was on website. Ridiculous! He reluctantly honored special. Place was out of certain menu items on a Saturday night at 7 pm. Service was slow. Place was pretty empty and no one was at bar. Will this place survive? read more

This place is average. They have a decent beer selection and just average bar food. The TV's around the bar area are located at odd places where it's hard to see them. When you're sitting at the bar, they are directly overhead, and the ones across the bar on the wall are too high and are cut off by the top of the bar. The place is clean and the waitresses are nice. My biggest complaint is the fact that the bartenders don't know how to pour a Guinness. They just sit the glass under the tap and let it pour. It would be nice to get a glass where I can drink it right away instead of waiting 20 minutes for it to settle. read more

Been back here a couple of times. Still underwhelmed. Generally not impressed with the food. Buffalo chicken flatbread rather plain. My wife and daughter had a salad they really liked on one visit. They both ordered it the next time and both said it was nothing like the previous visit. Consistency is critical when it comes to food. And unfortunately, we've felt that the staff was less than friendly and happy to serve us each time we've been here. Hope they can up the level of food and service, but we're in no rush to go back. read more

Tried Timothy's for the first time tonight. It was okay - nothing was over the top spectacular. The outside seating area is nice with a nice lounge area with couches, etc. Our server was very friendly. I don't like when bars have a practically nonexistent wine selection. For red, there were only two options- Merlot or Cab and it seemed pretty low shelf. Might go back but only if I'm in the area. read more

Now that I've been there a couple of times, I can give 1 star without feeling bad. The bartenders and management are some of the rudest I've ever seen. If you are under the age of 25 they will cut you off after ONE beer. That being said, most of the other wait staff have been very kind. I'm not sure where my last review went but I'm assuming that the owner paid to have it deleted from yelp. So here it is again..... A few girlfriends and I went in one night to grab a few drinks and apps to hang out and catch up. Upon entering the restaurant there were no hosts at the door so we went to the bar even though we wanted a table. The bartender Rachael who looked at us and continued a conversation with another employee who wasn't even picking up drinks from the bar took way too long to come great us. Her body language felt more like we were intruding on her social time rather than them doing their jobs. You'd think with an empty restaurant you'd want to actually make money by having fast service. We ordered drinks which she took forever to make, making one and setting it aside than getting distracted with what seemed to be a regular or a friend at the bar that didn't even ask for anything. Than the other drink was made and we had to ask for straws after about 4 sips because she pretty much just dropped the drinks and ran away to talk with her friends again. A servers drink ticket printed and we watched as Rachael sat there talking to her friends while the poor server waited a while before Rachael even acknowledged her and annoyingly asked her why she was standing there lol. As she made her drinks we watched her scoop ice with a GLASS pint glass which broke in the ice, IN THE ICE. She stopped looked around and thought no one saw so took a few large pieces out and continued to use the ice to make drinks. Doesn't she know that the smallest piece of glass can cause someone to die from internal bleeding? We watched as a poor old man sat close to us in the dining room as he was giving his hot food with no silverware. I felt so bad watching him sit there helplessly waiting for his server who was talking and laughing with other employees in the server station that I got up, grabbed silverware from another table and gave it to him. As we were leaving the hosts didn't even bother to look up as the were to busy snap chatting or doing whatever it is they were doing on their phones. This was my last visit ever. I've heard so many things about this place it's unreal. I've overheard conversations between employees talking about god knows what and how the management are all creeps that hit on the young women they hire and the owner Timothy being a rage-oholic. PLEASE stay in West Chester where the college students are obviously too ignorant to know the difference between a college bar and a real restaurant. read more

No one greeted our party of four on arrival so we headed to the bar side. One of our party went to the front to let someone know we sat and the manager was visibly irritated. 5 minutes went by, no server. We went to front & let someone know and they said server was on their way. Another 5 minutes went by with no acknowledgement. A table near that sat sometime after us was helped. We flagged that server down and he said he'd have someone over. He came right back and apologized that he didn't know he was going to be our server. Drinks took so long to come out that I had to go to bar just for my water. Appetizers were served before our drink order. I was advised that they were out of the drink I ordered. About 10 min later I went to bartender to ask which of the ingredients she was "out" of so I could modify my order. After telling her what I ordered, she said "sorry, the server told me the wrong drink. I can make that one. I'll do that right away!" Another 10 minutes went by before I had to walk over to bar again to ask for it. She forgot! Food was terrible. We decided to go somewhere else to watch NFL. We got our bill and I was shocked to see that after waiting 45 min. for a drink, that I was charged for it! They ended up taking it off. We went to Liberty up the street and had a fantastic time with top notch service! I'll never go back to Timothy's again! read more
