We were in Nocatee for work today, and with the weather being so beautiful, sitting outside was definitely a bonus. The restaurant itself is pretty, and the food looks fresh and appealing when it comes out. Unfortunately, the flavor didn't quite live up to the presentation. We ordered the crab burger, T's wrap with grilled shrimp, bean salad, cucumber salad, and hush puppies. The crab burger was especially underwhelming and honestly tasted like very little. We even added extra sweet bam bam sauce to try to give the fried crab patty some kind of boost, but it still didn't do much for the flavor. T's wrap was better. The grilled shrimp and fresh salad-style filling made it light and enjoyable, but it still was not especially memorable. The fried hush puppies were also pretty bland, and there are definitely other spots that do both much better. The standout items, outside of the drinks, were the bean salad and cucumber salad. Both of those had the seasoning and flavor we were hoping for, and we genuinely enjoyed them more than the main dishes. We came during happy hour, and that ended up being the high point of the visit. The watermelon lemonade was delicious, and the piña colada, while not included in happy hour pricing, was exactly what we wanted. Both drinks were well made and definitely not light on the liquor, which was a major plus. So, would we come back? For happy hour drinks, yes. For the salads, maybe. For seafood, probably not when there are better options nearby. read more

Monday night so only a couple tables occupied and really quick service. Plentiful fried oysters in paper basket and so many yummy French fries 2 of us didn't finish them. I saw the food runner drop one of the tartar sauce cups on the floor and put it on the tray anyway before delivering it to me. Not enough tuna on the poke bowl so be sure and order "double the tuna." They accommodated with romaine instead of spinach in the bowl but the avocado was not cut into pieces as would be expected in a poke bowl. There was way too much lettuce and we did not enjoy eating salad from a paper box with a plastic fork. We tried sitting outside at picnic tables but resorted to inside when both of us leaned on table and our arms completely stuck to the table--no joke. With a view to the outside I saw one of the teenage staff attempt to wipe a table down without spraying any cleaning product on it and they only partially wiped the table. This explains why their picnic tables are disgusting. The ketchup bottle at our table was also nice and sticky. Napkins are a roll of paper towels at the table. We left at 8pm and the trash receptacle next to our table was already marked "CLOSED" on top of the hole so we had to look for another waste can and carry our plastic tray with trash across the room. What??? They weren't closing for another hour and there was only one table occupied when we left. My husband left a nice tip when we ordered at the counter but we won't be tipping that much next time, if there is a next time. For the money spent, real plates, napkins and forks would be a good start to upgrade this seafood shack that reminded me of McDonald's with its open kitchen, 3 fryers, counter service, and clean up after yourself --except it has seafood. read more

Had a great experience this past Saturday at this establishment. I have been here a few times and wanted to give a shout out to Manager Brent who helped us with our ordering and provided us with excellent customer service. Every time we have been to this location we find the food to be fresh and delicious. They offer 3 different options for their fish and shrimp. Blackened, grilled or fried which all three options I've tried are amazing. Their food tastes wonderful as they frequently change the oils in the fryer vacs and all food items are nicely presented In a disposable food basket. The seating area is spacious and the ambiance of welcoming. Always a great spot to grab a bite to eat. Prices are very reasonable comparatively to other restaurants in its location. read more

While sitting at Timoti's Seafood Shak in Ponte Vedra, I asked if the fans on the patio could be turned off. It was already overcast and windy, and the extra wind from the fans was making it difficult to enjoy our meal--my grandson's food was even blowing around, and I had to keep catching it from tumbling over. The manager told me she would have the line cook handle it since she was too short to reach the switch herself. Unfortunately, after waiting 45 minutes and seeing our waitress come out to the patio twice, nothing was done. I left very disappointed with the lack of response and poor customer service. read more

We came in for a late Veteran's Day lunch. This is a fast casual restaurant in which you order and pay at a counter and they bring your meal to you. Their menu is posted on the wall and clearly describes each item they offer. We opted to try a couple cups of their soups: clam chowder and seafood stew. The chowder was thick enough to be a dip and was loaded with potatoes and clam. The stew was a bit spicy in a tomato base. We also shared a shrimp po'boy and tuna taco. The po'boy had large slices of tomato, fresh lettuce, and plenty of grilled shrimp. The roll was fresh and added to the sandwich. The taco had large chunks of poke style tuna. It could have used some more salsa. The staff were friendly. However, the service was slow. It took 25 minutes from order to food delivery. Alcohol is available. A solid 4! Brought the family for the family friendly atmosphere. We got salmon, burrito, tacos, and chicken tenders. My son ate all his salmon and my daughter ate most of her tenders. It's a good thing that my wife and I do intermittent fasting or we would have been hangry with lunch today. Man , we waited an hour to get our food and by the time they arrived, it was 2:30 in the afternoon. They're not even short staffed. We ordered the following: *Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl - the cup it came in looked like an ice cream cup and it's mostly rice inside. *Grilled chicken rice bowl - same goes here. Mostly rice and the chicken inside was big enough for a kids meal. *Fried Mahi taco - the best out of the three. Definitely not worth the price we paid for that meal. Visited the Nocatee location last time for the first time. I've been to the one in Five Points in the past and I was a bit underwhelmed! The decor and restaurant was very nice and super clean, so they get a 5 stars for that. However, the portion sizes were small in contrast with the large portions served at their other location. We had the catch of the day, blacked Corvina, which was very well cooked, seasoned and tasty. I wish I got more of it for the price, though! My daughter had the tuna taco and the mahi taco, while they were tasty, there was not a lot of fish in them and the taco was super saucy, which made it impossible to eat as a hand-held item. The kids chicken tenders were ok, not bad, but not excellent either. They do get a 4 stars for the nice outdoor play structure that resembles a boat, kids loved paying in it, and provides parents a nice break to enjoy the grub. Overall a nice experience, and food tasted very good, I suggest adjusting the portion sizes, will definitely be back to enjoy a drink on the patio, while the kids play. read more

Came to Timoti's for a casual dinner with friends and was not disappointed. The place had a nice feel to it. You order at the front and then they bring your food to your table. We had a party of six and had no issues with food being mixed up and were able to keep just one number for the whole party. They also had a nice bar to order from if you end up changing your mind on a drink after you have already ordered food. They even had my favorite draft from South Florida the Floridian by Funky Buddha . Our food came out fairly quickly which was great. I did have a hard time deciding on what to order since they had a lot that sounded great but I had to end up going with the Fresh Catch Mahi Sandwich Blackened. For $10.99 it was a little pricey since it didn't come with a side but the freshness was 100% there. The fish was very moist and the blackening seasoning had just the right amount of kick without over powering the fish. I would suggest trying their Bam-Bam sauce which was great. It's somewhat similar to a Remoulade sauce but better in my opinion. Ashley had the Shrimp Tacos Blackened and a side of the Hush Puppies. The Shrimp Taco we're loaded with toppings and became a fork and knife meal fairly quickly. She did end up saying that she wished she had gotten them fried instead. The Hush Puppies were also good and had pieces of peppers and possibly jalapeños in them too. Make sure to try them in the Bam-Bam Sauce. You won't regret it. Though the serving is only 3, I would have liked to have at least 4 for the price. All and all nice local seafood restaurant in the area. They even had a wooden ship playground for the kids. Shrimp tacos are incredible, full of a multitude of flavors and textures, cilantro sauce on top is heavenly. Lobster rolls were so good and mostly lobster, but a little small for a full meal. Baja box is my go to with grilled shrimp, love that you can choose what kind of seafood you want on it and how you want it prepared. (Choose grilled, fried, or blackened.) But the food seems to have 'fallen off the beaten path'. not sure if there was a change in management or something else. then you layer on COVID and we just sooner visit the other restaurants in the Town Center. Lots more competition now, especially with Greenwise across the street that does offer a wine and beer bar with great made on premise/ready made seafood and such.
