I had been hearing about Tikka Bowls and Tacos and finally made. I will say it for sure took me too long to get there but I will be coming back soon. Tikka Bowls and Tacos is similar to Chipotle but using Indian food and it's also way better. I got a bowl with chicken and so many delicious toppings and sauces. You start with a base which I did cilantro rice, chicken, Tikka Smoked Tomato Curry, all the other bowl toppings one is used to and there Hot Chutney. Really brings the heat. The chicken was flavorful and all the toppings fresh and their sauces are also homemade. I can't forget how friendly the staff is too. They are also part of the reason I will be coming back. Ashley had the taco which she upgraded to Naan and they were amazing too. Did a mix of the chicken and the Paneer which was amazing. The Naan is softer then the normal Tandoori Naan which is crispy from cooking on the side of the oven but their Naan has to be soft since in taco form and will not crack as soon as it's folded. They are very unique and delicious so you have to give them a try. We also had to try the Samosa Chaat which was way better then I expected since it was a vegan option. The Samosa Chaat Is 2 Samosas covered in Chole Chana and other toppings. I was just so much more flavorful then I expected. You really can't go wrong with anything from here. So stinking good! I just finished my meal and while I am in pain from how full I am I thought I would share my thoughts on the deliciousness! There is something so satisfying about eating dishes with lots of colors it just fills up my eyes and stomach. I ordered the Naan Tacos, two with chicken and one with Paneer. The Paneer was incredible and probably my favorite thing I have eaten in a while the cheese was melty but not too melty. Each bite was a burst of flavors a deliciousness! I gobbled all of my tacos in moments. I asked the very nice server what they put in their tacos and to make mine that way, no joke that was such a good move. I was excited for this spot since it had good reviews. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I should have known when I sampled the goat. It was really under seasoned and needed a lot more salt. It was hard to tell the flavor since it was so lacking in salt. The chicken wasn't much better. Very bland tasting and relatively dry. Do they brine it before cooking? Probably not. The salad for the base of my bowl was just iceberg lettuce. Spring mix or some other more nutritional mix would have been preferred. The curry tasted good enough - I got the medium spice variety. For drinks, there weren't many options. Mostly sugary sodas. Not a great experience. We won't be back. read more

Staff was very willing to give tastes of items and/or explain them. Portions were very large so plenty of leftovers. My husband thought the goat was very good. I thought it would be fun for my niece to try this food ad an introduction to Indian flavors since she isn't familiar at all. It was very easy to order and build our own food bowls. I had to explain to her what some of the food was, the staff helped where they could. Turns out, she loves Tamarind now. We got a couple of mango lassis and snagged the only table that was outside at the moment! It was fun seeing her try the different flavors in the food and condiments she got.
