The food was fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully presented with that elevated, homemade feel that makes everything taste even better. Service was friendly and unhurried, which really added to the peaceful pace of the evening. What makes it extra special is that you can also shop while you're there. The boutique-style space has cute, curated items that make it fun to browse before or after dinner, turning the whole visit into more than just a meal. It's the kind of place you go when you want dinner, a little shopping, and a calm, memorable experience all in one. Definitely a spot worth returning to.

We were traveling with an elderly disabled family member who uses a mobility scooter. Although there were designated accessible parking spaces, the ramp leading into the building was so narrow that her scooter couldn't safely use it. Once inside, both the retail store and the restaurant had aisles that were too narrow for the scooter to navigate. As a result, she had to leave the scooter behind and painfully walk with a cane, which left her exhausted before we were even seated. The retail store itself was packed so tightly with merchandise that it felt more like navigating an obstacle course than shopping. Much of the merchandise was gift-shop fare at prices that seemed difficult to justify. The restaurant appeared disorganized from the moment we checked in. We watched multiple parties who arrived after us get seated before we did, including a party of two being seated at a table that could accommodate eight guests. Meanwhile, our elderly disabled relative was told she could wait in a chair next to the restroom. When we were finally called, we were seated at a table at the very back of the restaurant, requiring yet another long and painful walk for our relative. After looking over the menu, we found the prices surprisingly high for the offerings, and there wasn't enough that appealed to our group to justify staying. At that point, we decided to leave without ordering. After driving more than an hour based on the restaurant's reputation, the combination of poor accessibility, disorganized seating, and a menu that didn't provide good value made the trip feel like a complete waste of time. We ended up driving into Plant City instead, where we found a welcoming restaurant with reasonable prices and a much better overall experience.

I love what they do with the menu, and always trying to bring better to the Fishhawk area. That's where they are great. The challenge is in the service execution. It's not bad, but it is far from great. Hosts are pretty friendly. Bartender is good, experienced, and does a really good offering. (Would say that these recipes need to be tasted. Sometimes they are a little too alcohol heavy and not flavor forward, but I understand. I think that would change in a few months) Food, generous servings. Enough for two to share on a lot of them, which really changes the value proposition. Almost makes me wish they had the ability to have half orders of something. But I will say this. The service is just slow and as a matter of fact. Very little sense of urgency. It's not bad, but you are definitely not going here because you feel that it's an amazing experience; only amazing food. Suggestions. Get your servers/staff some black Polos, slacks and aprons (at least 2 sets, and update semi annually). Probably less than $100 investment per staff member. Hire 1-2 more servers. It's weird, but it will probably increase table turnover to pay for itself. Keep improving on the kitchen. Do something with the Bruschetta but DONT CHANGE THE FRIES!

TURKISH KITCHEN I am always up to trying something new…read more When a close veteran friend invited me to go to lunch, I was in. He took me to one of his favorite places. It's called Turkish Kitchen and is located at 119 W Bloomingdale Ave, in Brandon, FL. I have eaten at Italian, German, Greek, Chinese, Indian and food from other cultures but not Turkish. I was not sure that the menu selections would be in keeping with my Mediterranean lifestyle but we were on our way to find out. We entered the restaurant where my friend was well known and were escorted to a reserved table. The spacious upscale restaurant already had a good crowd of luncheon diners. As I glanced at the menu selections I knew I would not be disappointed. I will quote a line from the menu. "From succulent kebabs to Turkish tea, our menu is a culinary journey you won't forget." The four page menu had selections that would appeal to the most discriminate customers. Our waitress Angel provided flawless customer service and suggestions. Our Hummus, a bowl of Lentil soup and Sarma, grape leaves stuffed with savory rice, herbs and olive oil were perfect appetizers. These were followed by a Mix Shish which consisted of Lamb, Beef and Chicken cooked to perfection. For desserts we chose Maras, a traditional Turkish ice cream with a rich chewy texture that left us wanting more. We will revisit this Turkish gem again and choose from the over fifty offerings on the menu.

SORRY IF I GOT IT WRONG)...Anywho, for our APPETIZER: we had Kibbeh (ground beef with onions and peppers fried inside dough)...YUMMYYYYYY! ENTREE: Mix Shish - Chicken Shish (Chunks of skewered marinated chicken) and Lamb Adana (ground lamb with onion and peppers, basically a Shish kebab, but instead of Chunks, its ground on a skewer)...so flavorful, no complaints about those either. It comes with a yogurt base sauce(similar to Tzatziki- sauce for Gyros), grilled veggies, and salad. The grilled Serrano was spicy and I loved it! DRINKS: Turkish Coffee, Tea, & Beer. All have great flavors. Beer reminded me of a Stella Artois. DESSERT: Kunefe - it sort of looks like a small cake made of shredded dough, cheese, and topped with with the sugary syrup. OMG, TO DIE FOR! SERVICE: Great, our server was super nice and knowledgeable. We were greeted upon entering and our water cups remained filled. If you're a foodie like us, it says a lot when you never have to ask for more water. We will definitely return SOON!

The staff are so friendly and down to earth. Kind people. I love that. The place itself is inviting and feels extremely unique. It was setup and decorated with care. You walk in and you're in a different place. You forget you're in a shopping center and that this is a storefront restaurant. The mint tea lemonade drink they serve...? DO NOT think twice about trying it. I'm not usually one for minty stuff, but this drink is absolutely phenomenal. What about the food, you ask...? Well, this is officially my place in all of Tampa Bay to eat Mediterranean food. And I've tried many that are absolutely delicious. But Jerusalem beats them all out. The meats are truly, expertly cooked, with flavors that give you that food high that leaves you feeling amazing after the meal. But then the sides are equally impressive. Everything down to their salads is fresh and packed with flavor and nuance. I have not had a bad thing on this menu. It's all been amazing. Oh... try their baklava. Not usually big on desserts, but I'll get that again for certain.
