Great local spot with great fresh food and even better service! Not many places you can find scrapple! Family owned and real family feel.

Today is the Tim's let me down. Today , we arrived before 2pm. However, after getting my dad in the wheelchair ( in the rain), we were greeted at the door with "We're closed " Either Tim's staff needs new watches or needs to learn how to tell time. Disappointed- yes Still Hungry- yes Lost business - YES you did! My father has been in rehab(nursing home ) and today he was out in the real world for a doctors appointment and all he wanted was a great breakfast for Tim's, BUT you let us down - BEFORE 2pm

Food was alright. Restaurant needed a lot of refurbishing. Prices were cheap, that is why they got the high ratings.

Very large menu, reasonable prices, big portions. Well worth the wait. Remember, however, that they are a cash only business.

We were lucky enough to snag…read moreone of only 13 tables in this intimate coastal spot, and Millie's truly embodies the term "hidden gem." From the jump, the scratch-made, farm-to-table focus shines through, and the hospitality makes you feel right at home--we even had the pleasure of chatting with the owner for a few minutes between courses. We kicked things off with the smoked alligator ribs--and no, that's not a misprint. It is an unforgettable local standout. The meat was remarkably tender, pulling right off the bone, and paired with a rich, house-made barbecue glaze that nailed the balance of sweet and smoky. For the main course, the local cheddar shrimp and grits with andouille was an absolute symphony of flavor and texture. The fresh coastal shrimp were seared to perfection, and the andouille was finely diced throughout, melting seamlessly into the rich, savory grits so every single bite had a smoky punch. Across the table, the airline chicken was beautifully executed with crisp skin and juicy meat, and the signature three-meat blend burger (featuring brisket and short rib) was pure, rich comfort. From the kitchen's execution to the genuine front-of-house warmth, Millie's delivers an incredible dining experience. Don't sleep on a reservation here if you're in the area.

It's right on the…read morebeach, and it's an added part of the experience of going to the beach and this place is that you can literally walk straight from the beach into the restaurant. So you can spend the day by the water, get sandy, and then head inside for some food without having to completely change plans. The whole place has really fun beachy vibes to it. It felt casual, lively, and like the perfect place to stop in after spending the day by the water. There was live music, tvs, and themed drinks. I also really appreciated that they were open on the Fourth of July, especially since a lot of places have limited hours on holidays. I got the seafood mac and cheese. The seafood itself was fresh, but I thought the mac and cheese could have used more breadcrumbs and a little more sauce. It was still good and filling, but I think those additions would have made it even better and given it a little more texture and creaminess. I will say it's a little pricey, but I think that comes with the territory when you're doing seaside dining and paying for that kind of location. For me, the combination of the food, atmosphere, and being steps from the beach made it fun and still enjoyable. Overall, I think this is a fun spot if you're already spending the day at the beach and want somewhere casual to grab a bite. Being able to walk right in from the beach makes it feel like a quintessential beach-day experience, and the fun atmosphere definitely adds to it.

The service was good. The menu had plenty of food choices. Something for everyone. I ordered the chowder, and Shrimp pasta. Our party ordered the Philly, grouper dinner, and the Shrimp and grouper. Everyone liked their meal. Mine was excellent. The only problem was they didn't have a spoon for me. WHAT? I had to use my fork. Crazy. Not a huge problem but worth mentioning for management. Anyway, my dish was awesome and very tasty. The waitress was attentive and helpful. We all enjoyed our meals. This is a great place with a lot of history, museum pieces, and pictures of the way it was. Fun place. Good food. I recommend.

The Pink Flamingo was delicious. The biggest surprise for us was the cinnamon roll kitchen where bakers are making fresh cinnamon rolls in front of you and you can eat as many as you like! The beauty of this restaurant is that the "fish camp" fixins' are on an all-you-can-eat buffet. But your entree is made to order, fresh for you! Best of both worlds! We had 8 in our party and were delighted to know that it takes 12 for the gratuity to be automatic. That was not an issue, though. Our first server "cousin Richard" was excellent, but then he got pulled away and "cousin Bailey" took care of us. Both were delightfully friendly and very attentive. In our group we had chicken tenders, which I sampled and were some of the best I've ever had. We had shark and alligator appetizers. They were both awesome. We had sautéed shrimp and sautéed scallops. Both were swimming in a delicious buttery garlic sauce and cooked to perfection. One had meatloaf and said it was great! One had salmon. And a couple of people had the crab cakes which they also said were delicious. The sides were also good, and the "fish camp" sides were awesome. I want to especially comment on the cheese grits. As a G.R.I.T.S. (Girl raised in the south) and a devout grits snob, I give my wholehearted double thumbs-up on the grits. I thought my grandson was going to make himself sick eating so much! Final word, the cinnamon rolls were AMAZING!! Warm out of the oven and covered with sugary sauce.

He messed up the order of a table next to us twice and the guy didn't eat while his entire family ate their meals. Not sure if he was new or just having a very bad day. My wife got sick halfway through our appetizer meal and I promptly told him I needed 2 boxes and the check as soon as he brought our main dish... I waited at least 30 minutes until he came back with the check and boxes, then he left again to correct the check for another 10-15. I wished he would have been a bit faster and more attentive since we were trying to leave in somewhat of a rush... I think maybe this place is just understaffed or we got a bad waiter. The catfish was still good the next day and the cinnamon rolls were AMAZING though!!
