While the service and the atmosphere were fine the food left some to be desired. The food was rather bland especially the burger. The fries were mediocre. The restaurant in the small tourist town was expensive and nothing unique nor rememberable.

Visited a couple times while in Hill city for a few days. The food was just ok nothing special for us at least. We had a hamburger and I had a turkey sandwich. The sides of potato salad and a pastas salad were different but not something we felt we needed to finish. The outside seating is nice but service this day was very slow even though I saw at least 3 servers. The inside seating service was much more attentive. The place is clean but could use an update for being a tourist town.

    Cuban wrap with side salad

Came here during a busy afternoon but Lexi took amazing care of us! She was super sweet and speedy quick. I tried out the Cuban wrap she had recommended- 100p will be getting that again if I'm ever back in town! Along with that I ordered a regular side salad which wasn't anything special but paired well with the wrap. For starters we ordered the chislets I believe which were great, super tender. And chips and salsa which wasn't anything special but still super good. The place was very laid back and had plenty of seating indoor and out. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and I'm not sure how this place has 2.5 stars on here!

Really good food and great customer service!! You gotta try the Buffalo stew! Perfect fit a cold evening and the mushroom Swiss burger was awesome too! And the beer batter onion rings were amazing along with a great ipa. The Chislic dinner plate was so darn good!! We ate dinner here 3 of the 5 days we were in town. Overall great food and great experience

Our food was great! Clara, our waitress, makes an excellent margarita. Chill atmosphere, cold beer on tap. Get the chislic!

My wife and I had a very nice lunch. My sandwich and her salad were well prepared and tasty. Our server was very friendly and efficient.

Tried the beer cheese soup as a starter and again --- does not disappoint..... We arrived at 1:00 pm and was taken right in.... they told me they can seat 150 and was turning tables as fast as they could.... I tried paying with a CC, but was told no. Thankfully I had the cash... I didn't see a CASH ONLY sign, but might have missed it, or maybe they just don't take AmExp..... I'm going back for dinner tomorrow night....

We had a ground of 15 so we reserved a table. We came around 4:430pm and they gave us a beeper…read more When our group was all here at 5pm, we were seated promptly with a table prepared. It was already completely filled in the bar with wait times until 6:30pm at that point. Come early or reserve if you have a big group! There are two dinner options for adults - bacon wrapped steak and a German noodles dish. The bacon wrapped steak was great and also came with a wedge salad. The prices were incredible at about $20 per entree. It does have a strong bacon flavor so you have to be sure to enjoy that flavor. There was a hotdog option for kids and a vegetarian menu. The dessert menu was extension with more than 10 items. I had the napoleon and it was light, airy, and flaky. Everyone was happy with their desserts and the price was around $7 per item. Overall, it was a fun experience with decent food in this small town. I would come back and I recommend you try it!
