Wow. I'm quite impress by how efficient and knowledgeable this guy is. I waited for no more than 10 minutes to get my keys done. If anything, it took longer for the credit card machine to boot up than making the keys LOL. I broke my keys trying to turn on the engine while the steering wheels were locked. I've gone to multiple places and they quoted me at $60 to get my keys cut and reprogrammed. This place quoted me $25?!?!? Been there 3 times. 2 out of the 3 times was pretty shitty experience. It was conveniently located but the guy doesn't know how to run a business or talk to customers. If I can give him negative 5 stars, I would. One very simple business practice yet this guy don't practice is never argue with your customers, as long as they are willing to pay for it, just give them what they want. I will not be back here even if it's the last key shop on earth, which we all know that there are plenty of shops around. Tin is a good & fair man. Really knows his stuff! I had recently got an older Lexus, and only had one key (the valet key, with the broken taped up FOB with no blade on key ring, would need to open/start car) So went on Amazon and EBay, got the shell FOB with uncut blade, and full uncut blade with FOB with little electronic board incl. Checked online Lexus, may charge from $125 to $225? Also some other locksmiths, lot less if BYOK. Also they had tips to setup/pair new key. The so many times door and key thing. But rolled into see my man Tin, even parked in his spot right by key shack. He said is ok. He's very busy, but very quick and efficient. He quoted me only $55! to cut both keys, and even setup new FOB! I asked if do for $50, he accepted. But then I asked him if could help or I could borrow tool to replace broken hood rod clip. Went around to Home Depot and ace to try to duplicate some keys for my 78 cb400t. To my disappointment, neither of the stores could duplicate them. Told them to make me a spare key for my 2007 Honda CR-V. He told me I needed my master key as well. I said fine and brought my original key, he proceeds to make my spare key and it works. But he then deleted the programming of my original master key and I can know longer use my original key. This is very frustrating as now my spare key which is just a key works, but my original key which has buttons to lock unlock and trunk , no longer works. Not recommended place. read more
