I have had black cars before and none had the deep gloss of my GV60 with Gtechniq Crystal Serum. The finish repels water and dirt. Super easy to clean and then dry with a leaf blower. Like RainX, the coating on the windows sheds water with little need for wipers. What I was very pleasantly surprised by is how effective the ceramic tinting of windows and windshield turned out. It is not just hype. This stuff really blocks the heat. If you hate getting into a hot car in the summer, this is your solution. I was suspicious of putting it on the windshield, but the ceramic tint does not impair visibility in any way and blocks the infrared as advertised. To comply with Chicago regulations I did 50% on the front windows. Once again blocks the heat but not the view along with sufficient privacy when viewed from the exterior. Not cheap, but a worthy investment on an expensive vehicle. I highly recommend.

We booked an interior detail online at $185 and specifically selected the "extra dirty" option because we knew the vehicle had heavy dog hair and would require extra work. We fully expected an upcharge. What we didn't expect was to be told at dropoff that the price would now be $600 after comments about it being "the dirtiest car" they had ever seen. We understand severe pet hair removal takes more time and labor, and we aren't disputing the extra work. Our issue was the lack of clear expectations beforehand. If a vehicle disclosed as "extra dirty" can end up costing more than TRIPLE the quoted amount, that should be communicated more transparently before the appointment or through a clearer pricing structure online. At the time of drop off, there was a line of cars waiting to be checked in, so we felt put on the spot and didn't have time to process such a dramatic price, so we left it (admittedly, maybe we shouldn't have). When we raised concerns about the final price at pickup, there was no willingness to discuss any adjustment. Again, the final quality of the detail was very good. But customer experience also includes the level of professionalism, transparency, and how concerns are handled when expectations (final cost) change so significantly. If you have an "extra dirty" car, my advice is to get a few quotes up front. We certainly wish we had done that!

I would give DPM Auto Pros zero stars if I could…read more I contacted David to detail my car's interior and address some staining issues. We aligned on the priorities as follows: 1. Fix the staining on the driver-side door 2. Fix staining on the back seat interior 3. Complete general interior detailing David started with the lowest-priority item first, which I was initially fine with because he said he needed to get paint/dye to address the staining. I was actually encouraged that we were making progress and agreed to prepay for those materials, which turned out to be a big mistake. For the past month, I have tried repeatedly to get in touch with David and DPM Auto Pros, with no success. I have been completely ignored. There has been no follow-up, no proactive communication, and no effort to complete the priority work we discussed and that I prepaid for. It has now been over a month since I paid for the materials, and I still have no resolution. At this point, it is both frustrating and disappointing. Writing this review means accepting that I likely lost $200 to a company that does not intend to finish the work it agreed to do. Unfortunately, because I paid through Venmo, I have very little recourse beyond sharing my experience publicly. I am now looking for an alternative detailing company to do the work I asked (and paid) David and DPM to do in the first place. I would strongly recommend that others be cautious before working with David and this company and will update this review with the next good detailing company I find so that anyone reading this doesn't have the bad luck of working with David and DPM Auto Pros.

This business owner operated his detailing business out of my residential property without my…read morepermission and continued doing so despite repeated requests to remove his business from my garage. I also received complaints that he required his roommates to wash cars without paying them and threatened them with immigration-related consequences. Because of these issues and other lease violations, I decided not to renew his lease. After receiving notice that his lease would not be renewed, he stopped paying rent, forcing me to begin the eviction process. He ultimately moved out before the eviction case was completed. During his tenancy, there was also an incident where he arrived appearing intoxicated, believed I had changed the locks, and called the police. The issue was resolved within minutes when he was able to access the apartment with the correct key. Afterward, he repeatedly harassed me through my Ring cameras, and I have video recordings of him directing derogatory slurs toward Mexican immigrants in the neighborhood. More than a year after moving out, he still has not removed my property address as the registered business address for his company despite repeated requests. Based on my experience, I would not recommend doing business with this individual.
