Terrible customer service experience. This body shop is connected with First Chicago Insurance, so I went there expecting at least basic professionalism. When I arrived, no one greeted me or even acknowledged I was there. The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful, acting like I was a burden just for asking questions. I called them later to follow up, and the attitude on the phone was just as bad--rushed, dismissive, and disrespectful. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you value your time and want to be treated with respect, look elsewhere. read more

My family has been going to C&A forever. Their attention to detail and pricing make for real value. I recently had an accident out in Pingree Grove. I had it towed to C&A because I knew they would get the job done right! To my surprise, going beyond the repair, they buffed out some paint that I acquired on my car scrapping a support beam in my condo's garage. My car is a 2015 and the HUB caps were pretty beat up but only one was crushed in the accident. C&A went beyond the call and was able to replace all 4 with aftermarkets. I asked for a difficult repair on an older truck that the office person said was probably not even a good idea because it would only last for a year. He looked up other options which I reluctantly agreed to and then called me and said nothing would look right but what I requested so they would just do the rust removal. They did such a beautiful job and at a reasonable cost and they are so nice in the office. If there were 6 stars I would give that. read more

This dude is a crook. I came in for a few small repairs on the front of my Kia Forte, was given a rough estimate of $1,000 by the owner himself and when I get there he tells me it's $1,400 despite none of the charges on my 'receipt' adding up to $1,4000. We also talked about painting over some scratches on the back of the car that were not even touched. So I ended up paying $400 more than I was told and did not get all the services we discussed. I only went to this place because it's 5 mins from my house but will avoid it at all costs in the future. read more

C&A has always done great work for us. We haven't had a need in about 15 years. We got hit with a guy with sub standard insurance. I worked it out that C&A could do the work instead of this sub standard insurance companies shops. The other shops just screwed us around. Steve took great care of our 2010 Lincoln MKX. When I came back the written estimate was right on the money (meaning he knows his stuff). C&A is one of the worst mechanic shops I have ever been too. I WOULD NOT SEND MY WORST ENEMY I went to 5 other places and C&A estimated my work on my car for only 1200, 2-3000 less than the other 5 places. My insurance company which has since been change would only pay for them because the labor was only 27-28 hr instead of a reputable shop mid 40s the old experession goes you get what you pay for. I called them a few times because I wanted to see it before they finished and put it all back togther,the OWNER was rude on the phone wouldn't even say bye just hang up. THIS A SHOP FROM HELL never go. When going to pick up the car the the color was different this a brand new car and he couldn't match the color I told him and he starts yelling saying im crazy for saying the color didn't match he refused to come out and look at it. He gives me the option to take it for leave it. The owner is scream he is calling me crazy.. if you look on their reviews you can see they have messed up paint before he was way to UNPROFESSIONAL screaming at the customer I was about to call the police. Two days after I hear a rattle in the car from where they "fixed it", I feel scared and intimated to go back and that was from the owner, I am telling anyone please stay away.THIS SHOP IS A PLACE TO SAY AWAY FROM A SCAM, I even went as far to report to better busines bureau it was so horrible. read more
