This location is way better than the Edison location. I like the staff here much batter and they have a great outdoor area with heated lamps. The carne asada fries might be the best things I have ever eaten! The strawberry basil margarita is always delicious. I am generally not a fan of any chain restaurants but I make an exception for their tacos

I visited Tio Taco on a Saturday afternoon to attend a friend's birthday party and had a good time. Food is tasty, staff is friendly and the drinks are good. I just wish the margaritas were a little bigger. They're too small for the price. There's a huge parking lot and there were available tables with no wait time once we arrived.

I gave this place a final try years later... it still hasn't changed. The drinks are horrible... nothing is ever mixed well here. Quite possibly the worst margaritas, Sangria and Mojito's I have ever had anywhere. As for the food, the chips have super fake lime seasoning and other garbage on it. The corn appetizer comes out ice cold same like last time. The entrees almost were passable but of course they had to ruin the dish. Skirt steak entree with plantains. The plantains were horrid. They added sugar and cinnamon and it was like eating gross french toast. The steak was cooked medium rare and was fine and came out warm. This was the only thing that actually was decent. This is the olive garden of Spanish food.

Went for Happy Hour on a Monday. Margaritas are half price ($5.00) on Monday. They were pretty good. The food was Happy hour priced. ($8-$10). The food was good. The birria dipping sauce was not great. Taste a little like marinara sauce. Everything else was very good. The server kept forgetting our stuff-not a huge deal-however considering it was a dead Monday...this shouldn't be the case. The ambiance is nice. Bar area is a favorite. All in all we'll definitely be back for some more margaritas!!!

Not a fan, service slow food just average, order carnitas but what I was given was anything but that.. this place on the beginning was very restrictive on guest to keep a certain glamour, not it lost it.. not good food or ambience. Staying away from it

I just don't understand why this place has 2.9 star reviews. My wife and I have eaten here at least a dozen times. We have never had any complaints. The food and service have always been excellent. Gina our server was absolutely amazing. The ambiance is cozy, and the music is not so loud that you can't hear each other talking . Give them a try. You won't regret it. If you don't like it, then don't go back.

We ordered the fish tacos, birria tacos, and kettle-style potato chips--and every plate came out looking as good as it tasted. The fish tacos were beautifully assembled, piled high with crisp, fresh slaw that added the perfect crunch to the tender, flaky fish underneath. Light, clean, and balanced. The birria tacos were the star of the table. Rich, deeply seasoned meat tucked into perfectly griddled shells, served with a savory dipping broth that takes each bite to another level. Messy in the best way possible--and completely worth it. Even the kettle-style potato chips stood out. Thick-cut, golden, and topped with just the right amount of flavor to make them more than just a side--they held their own next to the tacos. The overall experience ties everything together: polished yet relaxed atmosphere, attentive service, and dishes that clearly have intention behind them. It's the kind of place where you can tell care is put into both the food and the experience. Atlantic House isn't just a good meal--it's a spot you'll want to come back to, and one I'd recommend without hesitation.

Luckily, I had Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips on my list and it was on my way. I'd also been wanting to check off eating at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant on my foodie bucket list for sometime. This spot is going to count for me, at least until I can eat at one of his real-deal restaurants. While I didn't expect the place to not have a line, I was pleasantly surprised at how I was able to quickly place my order then grab a counter seat along the window. I was solo on this visit, so I didn't need a table, but those who had groups had to wait a few minutes to grab an empty one as the the restaurant was fairly full. The atmosphere is just like any pop-in, to-go place: casual, yet energetic, and feels approachable with a focus on serving quality food, rather than worried about a Michelin star. The only caveat is that the prices are a bit higher than most are probably happy paying, but you've got to remember its proximity to Times Square and the Gordon Ramsay brand. I got Gordon's combo which was a piece of cod, a piece of chicken, and three pieces of shrimp. All three were were crispy, flaky, and golden brown with a light batter that delivered a nice crunch, and the chips were hot and hearty. Exactly what you would you'd hope for from a restaurant built around this delicious British comfort food, especially with Gordon Ramsay's name on it. I'm not much for tartar sauce, so I can't speak to that, but I definitely appreciated the bit of lemon to add a bright burst of freshness. As it is more of a to-go/fast food style place, the presentation was surprisingly appealing for a quick-service restaurant. Paired with a ginger ale, it was a satisfying meal after a day of exploring the city.

Instagram reels led me here - and the Yelp reviews confirmed it. What a gem!! My co-driver (that's what he is today because we had a tiff lol) loves fish n chips. So far the best he's had is in Norway. Since Norway didn't award POtuS (see what I did there) the Nobel prize, I no longer feel obliged to think purely of the peace of returning to Oslo to our favorite chippery. Deranged. Anyway, we were juggling dinner ideas tonight and I remembered this spot. Even better since my mom is in town and dying for something different. I had no idea what to expect - even looking at pics. It's a straightforward place - 3 dine-in tables, and counter seating. We opted to eat in and what a delight! Here's what we got: -fish n chips -fish and popcorn shrimp -fried clams w cole slaw -2 New England clam chowdahs The person behind the counter brought our food out to us within 7 minutes - all freshly fried, crisp and hot. The fish was moist and flaky. The chips were salty, crispy on the outside and pillowy on the inside. The Cole slaw was divine! Soup is for tomorrow - the sneak taste I had has me counting down the hours. We got there just in time. Within 10 minutes we went from being the only people there to it being standing room only. My general seafood rule is if I can't see the ocean from the restaurant, keep it! But occasionally I'm wrong. As such, I'll be back for the lobster bites, soft shell crab, po' boys, and fantastic service! Note: it's on 22. If I was a cat I'd be down 8 lives after trying to cross back over to the Krispy Kreme for a lil something sweet afterwards. This place is worth it though. Send it!

He took my order himself, although there's also a huge tablet at the register, and he cooked and brought my food to me at my seat. He also checked up on me as I ate. My double cod fish and chips was served hot out of the fryer. The breading was crisp and clung to the fish, which is awesome, because I hate when the breading separates. And the chips were exquisite - crisp and fluffy with a nice dusting of seasoning. I was impressed that the menu offered cod as an upcharge from the standard white fish, which I dumbly forgot to ask about. I love when a fish and chips restaurant has more than one kind of fish! The sweet tartar sauce is not my thing. I prefer capers, lemon, onion, more acid. The breading was seasoned, but the fish itself wasn't.

King's Highway has a charming little stretch of independent ambition, all tidy storefronts and quiet confidence. This is where you can find The British Chip Shop, which I had long intended to try, and at last my synapses and my hunger aligned. The place was empty when I entered, which always feels like it could be either a warning or a gift. A voice from the kitchen promised to appear, and did, promptly and kindly, seating me by the window like a character in a underattended play. I ordered the daily special: Pork pie, mashed potatoes, mushy peas, and added a Tango orange soda for good measure. The pork pie arrived hot and full of purpose, the kind of food that knows exactly what it is. The mushy peas were fresh and honest. The mashed potatoes, however, seemed to have lost the will to live, bland and harboring a cold, defiant lump of butter at their center. The soda did exactly what it claimed, which is all one can ask of a soda. Only later did I notice I could have swapped the peas and mash for chips, and for a few dollars more added cheese and curry sauce. This knowledge arrived to me too late, as most useful knowledge does. Next time, I will be wiser. All told, an enjoyable, slightly pricey lunch with one unfortunate spud based misadventure. Still, if you find yourself wandering this lovely town, it is worth stepping inside. Four stars, because curiosity was rewarded, if not perfectly fed.

Although the town draws a high-end crowd, sadly while I dined there were sparse other diners. I hope the place thrives on, although again, I felt the money spent wasn't worth it.
