As a out-of-towner, I had to find this place online and, although I only gave it three stars, I was not disappointed. First impression, I called to schedule an appointment and left a message on their voicemail. When I came in about 15 minutes after they opened and let them know I had called in on their voicemail, the guy who runs the shop let me know that they never check their voicemail. The chairs all seemed full, but he was able to get me plus one in right away. I was surprised at the prices - they were great! They included services (i.e. hot lotion, callus removal, sea salt scrub) with many of their packages at great prices. The ladies were sweet and helpful. They do what they say they will do. Afterwards I noticed that the two coats she had already applied were still uneven, so someone else applied a third coat for me. I really appreciated that. So why the average score? Ninety percent of their nail polish bottles were low-quality brands. My plus one already had the paint from one nail peel off completely and another two nails chipped only one day after our appointment. The "hot lotion" seemed to be super low-quality, only warmed. The towels that they used were washed but old and dirty-looking nonetheless. Everything seemed really rushed - trying to get you in the chair, service started, going through the motions quickly just to do them, and get you out and under the drying lights as soon as the top coat was applied so the next person could be seated. The prices were low, and for this reason it seemed people would come in and out quickly all day long. It was more like a factory-type feel, if that makes any sense. My biggest reason for the low-score was we noticed they didn't clean the tubs between services. I always check for good sanitation practices and didn't notice any of them being done here. I don't even think the tools were properly cared for. The only thing I did notice is they used a peel-off sandpaper for each callus removal. All in all, for the area and the price, I liked the service. I just wish they would provide more cleanly methods. If I am in the area again, I will try a different place only for the matter of cleanliness. Price for "happy mani and pedi" $38 plus $10 tip (tip not required, of course). read more

I have been a regular customer here for close to 10 years and always loved the service and people that work there... unfortunately over the past year that service has declined more and more... a few times I have had blisters form on top of my feet from the technician giving the pedicure rubs callus remover on non callus skin... the final straw with them came today. My girlfriend goes to tip toe and they re really nice to her (maybe cos I'm paying). She did some stuff on her finger nails with 3d art and the dude who did it is legit. More importantly its reasonably priced. I also received my first manicure and pedicure (I'm not ashamed) it was a good feeling. I mistreated my feet for 25 years and they didn't mind working on em. Let's just put it this way, I have been to many many nail places and was never wowed enough to return. Every nail salon I've tried has been decent, but nothing to rave about. As I'm getting ready for my trip to Cancun, I looked down and noticed my nails were in terrible shape! I work in the lab and work with acetone daily so having pretty painted nails is nearly impossible to keep. Since I'm on vacation for the next week, I figured I treat myself with some pretty nails. :) I yelped and found a decent place locally and decided to give it a try. I saw a designed a liked on pinterest and figured I asked them to give it a shot. The design is a Tiffany blue with little black bows (I posted a picture for you ladies to see!). Since it was my first time here, I did not have a preference of who I got my nails done with. Lucky me, I got paired up with Ivy and she was awesome! She looked at the picture of the designed I wanted and knew it was something she has never done before. She said she would give it a shot on one finger, but could not promise me that it will come out perfectly. I was glad that she was willing to give it a try! Another lady didn't even bother! Her first attempt wasn't the greatest. You can't blame her because it's a completely new design! However, that didn't stop her. She took a second to think about how to recreate the design and decided that regular nail polish wasn't going to cut it and switched to gel for the design. That worked perfectly! She took the time to work on the rest of my nails and even went back to the first one and fixed it. She did not rushed and focused on getting the design just perfectly! She even provided additional suggestions to improve the design. I was so grateful that she gave her best shot and I totally loved it! Can't wait to come back! I highly recommend Ivy!!!!!! read more

I've been coming to tip to toe for years and honestly it may be a little more pricey than others but the quality makes it worth it! If you go to other places the nail polish chips and peels off or the nails break easily. When I come to tip to toe I never experienced chipping or anything if you do it's not their fault obviously it might just be the polish and if you notify them about the issue their glad to fix it for you! The staff is amazing all so nice and I personally feel they take their time with every customer to make sure everyone is satisfied! If you go I highly recommend Tom amazing customer service, funny, and is very skilled when it comes to my nails he always has me leaving looking amazing! Alright so I don't like leaving negative reviews BUT my finger is throbbing today! I was in the shopping center this establishment is at because my son was getting a hair cut, I was in need of a simple fill saw that they were pretty busy and said wth(mistake #1). I was seated fairly quick so +1 star for you. Guy did my nails which I was very pleased with(great shape and love the color) +2 stars. And that's where the story takes a downward turn. I got home and within 3 hours my thumb nail popped off. It being Saturday night I crazy glued it on and decided to go back Sunday. I walk in Sunday and I knew it was a bad choice as soon as they start speaking to each other in front of me about me in there language. Front desk girl ask who did my nails and I point the dude out. He sits me down and agrees to fix it(they have a 3 day work guarantee) well guy starts blaming me that my nails are too long, I have to be careful yadda yadda(I've had longer nails mind you and I went almost 3 weeks without a fill from my regular place) he's got an attitude and my thumb paid the price. He cut me 3 times and my cuticle is all red and inflamed. If I get an infection I'm going to be pissed!!!! Bottom line RUN AWAY. This place is dirty and rude. My first time at Tip2Toe nails, I had a gift certificate from Christmas, so I was open to a new spot. Here's what I think: I walked in with no appointment and there was a 15 min, wait. The receptionist was very nice in having me sign in. I sat with Nataly and she was very sweet and took her time with my nails. I requested a design, and someone else did them, while Nataly moved on to doing my pedicure I noticed the business was getting crowded. There's not much space in the front of the shop for gusts to sit, DONT bring your man(my suggestion) I saw a lot of men waiting for their women hogging the seats, and not getting up for the ladies. I also noticed the business is not very organized, there is a lot of nail polish and equipment everywhere. The employees bump into each other and disconnect wires while attempting to plug in gel uv lights(not child friendly, leave your kids home). I also noticed their tables and pedicure chairs are very old and need updating. HOWEVER, the service and attention to detail makes up for the Cons I mentioned. The older gentleman on the third station on the left rushed. I had been here before and loved the job done with my gel manicure by another person, but this time was disappointing. The polish is uneven and streaky, and I was even cut. He did not remove some excess polish on one of my fingers on my right hand so it overlaps onto my skin. ZERO STARS!!! I would give them zero stars!!! No other option, but to select 1-5 stars in order to give them a review. On 2 separate occasions, this place has failed to complete their service correctly. The 1st occasion, the nail technician was too busy rushing, that she didn't notice she unplugged the nail dryer machine and my friend's gel nails didn't dry. She had to go back to have them fix it, and the technician had the nerve to argue back with us. The receptionist apologized and fix her nails immediately. So I decided to go back a second time, thinking it was only that technician that left us with a bad experience. Turns out I was sadly mistaken, because I had made an appointment and asked the receptionist if there was someone that can do marble nails. I was assured that there was. I arrived and showed the technician the design I wanted, she assured me she could do it. It came time for the design part, she did not know what she was doing, she had to ask another technician to help her. Even then, he didn't do that great! She matted my nails and then told me that she couldn't finish the design, because it wasn't possible to do that design. I still paid $54 and it wasn't completed. I went back the next day to have them finish it. 1 day after that, my nails started bubbling and peeling off. I will never come back here again! First thing first; the guy, didn't even talk to me and didn't even look like he knew what he was doing, he also seemed upset right after I asked that I wanted my nails filed a certain shape. Secondly all of the equipment used on me was all used and dirty from previous uses and nothing was clean or even sterile which is nasty! The towel that he even dusted my hands off with even had powder dust on it and so hard and stiff! And once I got Up to have my nails dried the person right after me was also used with the exact same equipment and things with out them being cleaned!
