Unfortunately I wasn't able to take a photo as soon as it arrived I took a bite and could not stop! Hughly recommended.

Service: friendly and fast. Food: packed with flavor and fresh ingredients! Excellent hot sauce to top the tacos. I ordered three beef soft tacos, and I was pleasantly surprised. Recommended.

1 hard taco "grilled chicken" 2 soft tacos "grilled chicken"

I'm not really sure if you would call this grilled chicken, but there's not a sear in sight on this chicken once I arrived to my house which was literally a three minute walk across the street. My food was cold. I should have known when no one was actually in the restaurant except two guest there was going to be an issue. Overall not good tacos at all. The salsa they give you on side taste like the salsa that comes out of a grocery store bought pack taco kit. I took 3 bites of the hard taco and it was enough for me. Until I convinced myself to take a couple bites of the soft taco and the taco was not warm at all the protein, was not warm all the veggies and toppings that should be on top were at the bottom except for cheese with lukewarm protein on top.

The owner is extremely friendly! I always order the 4 meat tacos and nachos. They always have birch beer which is so tasty! I really like how the meat is seasoned and how gracious the portions are. I have been going to Tippy's Taco House for decades, so this review is way past overdue. I highly recommend this place for the delicious tacos and nachos, and the really nice family owned vibe it has. This is a must visit restaurant!

Where to begin...well this is not your typical Mexican restaurant. Tippy's plays an extensive ol' skool country music selection, at no time did a Tejano, Norteño or even Baby Bash. My nachos were tortilla chips sprinkled with shredded cheese and popped in the microwave, but the sour cream was pretty good. The tacos needed a bit more meat to fill the shell. Now the chicken quesadilla had chicken which appeared to be cut small enough for a salad. The onions were cut larger than the chicken. I can't even recall what the other dish was that I ordered. I can't say that there will be a return for me, but if you have a few dollars and feel adventurous Tippy's is for you.

This is a basic normal clean consistent restaurant that the people at the Washington DC wharf need to take a look at. The owner success stems to his attention to detail and care he give his food is outstanding, nothing more nothing less. There are not giant torches out front, the decor is comfortable and decent music playing so you can talk. There is a great selection of beer and Pepsi and jarritos sodas. I was able to get more food that tasted fresher than at this super expensive fancy monstrosity that is located at the wharf in DC

We arrived at 4:03 p.m. and left by 4:46 p.m. Our plan was to relax at the bar, enjoy happy hour margaritas, have appetizers, then dinner while watching the soccer match--a leisurely vacation evening. The hospitality, unfortunately, was lacking. Although our bartender wasn't rude, she seemed to be in a constant rush to get us to order, despite the restaurant being relatively quiet with only a few tables occupied. We even mentioned that we were hoping to enjoy a slow, relaxing evening, but we still felt hurried throughout our visit. The happy hour margaritas were very lime-forward with very little tequila. We switched to a regular menu margarita ("The Perfect"), but even that tasted weaker than expected. As tequila fans, we were disappointed. We also found the food to be far from authentic Tex-Mex. Having lived in San Antonio, I realize that's a high standard, but this didn't come close to what we expected. In the end, we asked for our food to go and left. We found another restaurant where we could relax and enjoy the kind of hospitality we had been looking for. I don't enjoy leaving critical reviews, but this was a disappointing experience, and unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

The salsas that come with the chips are good. It's downhill from there. The chips were oily and/or stale. The shredded beef taquitos tasted like beef hotdogs? The queso blanco was passable. The crispy garlic chipotle shrimp tasted like they were out of a bag and simply fried in the kitchen. To be honest all of the food tasted as if it was Sysco foods. The frozen margaritas were beyond sugary (I couldn't even finish it). Sadly, I wouldn't go back unless I was just grabbing a beer at the bar.

Parking was easy with a large garage right next to the restaurant, which made it especially convenient before heading to a show nearby. When we walked in, the bar was packed with people watching the game, and it had a fun, lively atmosphere. It definitely looked like a great place to catch a sporting event. The service was excellent from start to finish. The owner even came over to introduce himself, which was a really nice touch and made us feel welcome. The chips and salsa were good, just what you'd hope for at a quality Mexican restaurant. We ordered the shrimp fajitas, regular fajitas, and a couple of quesadillas from the kids menu. Even though the menu says it's for kids 8 and under, they were happy to let our slightly older kids order from it. It was a fantastic value, although I'd recommend it more for kids around 12 and under based on the portion sizes. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful, but the standout was definitely the homemade tortillas. They were outstanding. I also asked for a hot sauce, and they brought out a fresh green sauce that completely elevated the meal. I'm not sure exactly what was in it, but it was incredible. Great food, friendly service, easy parking, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'd definitely come back and would highly recommend Rango's to anyone looking for excellent Mexican food in Virginia.

What started as "one more stop before heading home" turned into one of the highlights of the evening. From the moment you walk in, Ometeo has an energy that's hard to miss. The restaurant is beautifully designed with two levels of indoor seating, a spacious outdoor patio, and both an indoor and covered outdoor bar. Whether you're meeting friends for Happy Hour, planning a date night, or hosting a celebration, there's a space that fits the occasion. One thing that really impressed me was the variety of private event spaces. They offer everything from fully private rooms to semi-private options that can accommodate seated dinners, cocktail receptions, or standing events. As someone who plans events, I immediately appreciated how thoughtfully the spaces were designed. Happy Hour is offered Monday through Friday from 3-6 p.m. and all day on Sundays, making it an easy excuse to stop by. The prices are reasonable, and there's a great selection of Tex-Mex favorites, cocktails, beer, and wine. We ordered the Carnitas de Puerco and the Chicken Tinga Tacos. After adding a squeeze of lime and a touch of salt to the tacos, they were absolutely delicious. I also ordered the signature Ometeo Margarita, which was beautifully presented and just as refreshing as it looked. What truly completed the experience was the customer service. Everyone we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel like they were happy we chose to spend part of our evening there. Between the vibrant atmosphere, beautiful design, delicious food, refreshing cocktails, and outstanding hospitality, Ometeo is much more than a place to grab a meal--it's an experience.
