This place is definitely worth a try. I wasn't in love with the chicken and waffles or the brisket grilled cheese. If I were to hop in the tasty time machine and go back to do it all over again. Others enjoyed their meal and the blonde ale was great. I have never seen sunfish on a restaurant menu. It tasted nothing like the sunfish I had always eaten in Minnesota. In fact, it was tasteless. I should not have been surprised said a dining partner. The fish is frozen and probably processed. It's not from Minnesota and isn't even from this country. We were there right at 11am. We sat ourselves. Very open space. Nice decor. Seats are not comfortable. I got the Sassy Steak Sandwich. Very tasty. Although I wanted more salt on it. Very messy. Friends got the Short-Rib grilled Cheese and a Bacon Jam Burger. These all came with French Fries. All very tasty. Yet, everything was very Messy. Sandwiches falling apart. Service seems a little slow. But it did fill up fast. So the restaurant did the best they could. Our appetizer was the Bavarian Pretzels with Gouda Cheese. -Delicious. Very interesting restaurant. Hostess, let us know we could seat ourselves. Once we were seated a waitress was quick to take drink, app, and food orders. Once all of those were delivered, we were basically left alone. Not even checked up on to see how the food was. When I finally flagged someone down after 20 minutes of trying for a box and the check, they attempted to dump it and bail. The food on the other hand, wow! We, 3 adults over 21, came on Tuesday July 16th shortly after 6 pm for dinner and drinks. I use rollator to get around and use as chair. Ramp is full of splinters and super rough, hard going up & down it. We order drinks, waitress suggests the strawberry lemonade without alcohol but says it is really sweet when I ask for splash of 7 up in it, so I go with her suggestion that I'm not going to need it. Came with no ice and no flavor, was red tho. Brother & his wife want to share a flight of beers, it doesn't arrive until just before the food does. Sister in law flags down waitress to get me 7 up instead, it arrives & is sour. Pizza arrives with no plates. Brother went to find them. We head off to use women's restroom just before leaving and find out no AC in it & I about keel over from the heat. Going down the ramp is even worse than going up it. My suggestion, if you use walker or anything else that you need a ramp for, this is not the ramp for you. read more

WE happened upon this place on a trip to the airport. No liquor license so beer and wine only, and some very strange cocktails. This place doesn't seem to have an established personality at all. Kid-like decorations, old time adult music going. Great space, nice staff, but drinks were downright terrible and food was very average. Music was also confusing. Every time they change their menu, I love it! The brewery it's inside is great too, they also have a big patio which is nice in the summer!

Service wasn't great in terms of just being acknowledged, but the food and drinks came out fast after a 10+ minute wait. Apparently there used to be a playground for kids which would have been great, but I get liability and Corona. Portions were large and food was tasty. I had the Tennessee chicken and my wife had the olive burger. Probably should have split an entree. Kids should probably split a kids meal as well. Ordered the chocolate milk shake for my daughter and we were all too stuffed to make much of an effort. I recommend splitting food here so you can walk out without being too stuffed. May go back, but will have a different game plan. read more

It's so loud in the restaurant that you can't have a conversation with a party of 6. The food is great. Sitting outside it the best option...the problem is outside the wait staff has a hard time getting there. Good Bar food, but the atmosphere makes it hard, I like the Blaine one better. read more

Beer was tasty and I also really enjoyed the hard seltzer (I had pineapple). We liked the loaded fries (the gouda cheese sauce was delicious). We weren't overly impressed with the tacos or the nachos. They were fine, just a bit bland. Went here on Father's Day so it was really busy, possibly every table but the closed back section. Start to finish for drinks for the table and food was 1.5 hours. They were way under staffed. 30 minutes for our beers and another 30 for our food. The good news is the food is delicious. Beer was alright, probably didn't help it say at the bar for 15 minutes. Very good food. It's a casual brewpub atmosphere with an emphasis on meat but also has poultry, seafood, burgers, salads and pizza. I got a take out order of a Tenderloin Wedge salad and Pile of Fries (came with a generous helping of cheese sauce). The order was prompt, the hot foods were hot and cold foods were cold. The location on Hiawatha was much nicer than the one in Roseville. The food was good in both places.

The service is great, and was enough to make me want to go back. I really like their menu ideas and it was hard to choose, but I went with a shrimp Po boy and onion rings. I should say onion ring, because I only got one very fat onion ring. It was OK, but I expected something else. Imagine ordering French fries and getting one giant fry. The po boy was over-sauced and didn't have enough shrimp. It was again, just OK. I think they use the same Gouda sauce as a base or topping for many menu items, which I think is a mistake. Gouda is not a good enough cheese to carry an entire menu, and people will get sick of it. I will try something else next time (without the Gouda) because I liked the vibe and there are a lot more things on the menu that look worth trying. read more

Do you like a good burger and really good beer brewed on the premises? This place does both things well. This was previously a Joe's Crab Shack; the room features a vaguely Western decor festooned with Gophers memorabilia. They get their meats from a local farmer and they share space with a brewery. I had only one beer (a sour beer, very good), but I plan to return to try something else. And since it's in suburbia, plenty of parking. Nice experience. read more

Just ordered the Bang Bang shrimp tacos and a "small" house salad for delivery. First of all someone wrote the contents of the containers (cardboard not Styrofoam or plastic - thank you!) with hearts. Nice touch! As far as the food : The tacos were great. I would recommend they use cabbage slaw as a topping in the future if they're taking suggestions . The lettuce was ok but the tacos would have really shined with a crunchy slaw on top. What I want to commend them for as far as the food is the most delicious house salad. I ordered a small but it was a full meal with a hot, fresh pretzel bread stick. The dressing was amazing and I usually don't like most salad dressing. It was like Wasabi mixed with yum sauce. So delicious! The salad itself was incredible with a perfect mix of salty and sweet. Pork belly and bits of a brown sugar something. Perfect amount of greens, onions and tomato. It was the best salad I've had in years. Thank you! I will definitely come back! read more

We have ordered food on Grub Hub from this place several times, and my dad requested it for his birthday when he was visiting from out of town to help with my baby. He went to pick it up for us, and called to ask where he should pick up the carry out, because it is a big building and the person on the phone was very rude to him, they even cursed and called him a name as they hung up the phone. Have not eaten at the restaurant but have ordered take-out. My son loves the brisket so much he never orders anything else. The bacon lollipops are a must-have! So chewy and salty and sweet! The Faribault Pride is an excellent burger but I would eat their burgers plain without even a bun. It was the tastiest, juiciest burger I can remember eating and the meat was seasoned perfectly. Our friends picked this spot for a casual dinner. And we obliged when we saw the menu: our friends eat very low carb, I prefer to eat fish whenever I eat out and my husband likes a good burger.
