I came in for a blown tire on the day before thanksgiving. They didn't have my weird tire model, but gave me a great price on a set of 4 new American tires manufactured late this year that I couldn't pass up. They got to work on it right away. While testing, they found my battery was going bad and offered me a good price Duracell battery manufactured this same month. I knew about the tires and battery starting to fail and I know my car well. I'm pretty sure they accidentally stripped one of my battery cover plastic screws, but that kind of stuff happens all the time at these emergency service places and I don't think reflects on them. Aside from that, they took care of the car as best as I could expect, Sure as hell, everything went exactly as they said. No bait and switch. No upselling. Everything was at or below market price. I ended up spending a bit of money on things I knew were due on the car (with no pressure from the staff) and got a solid price and solid material for all of it, it was all done in time and they seemed to take care of the car as best as they could. The guys were all friendly, honest, timely, and vocal about everything. From my experience, these were serious people. I'm really glad I went with them. I don't know why all the bad reviews here. Thank god I didn't read the reviews before coming. I wish I hadn't read the reviews while I was waiting for my service to be completed so that I didn't have the stinking paranoia that something was wrong. But no, everything was good. They even put back my lugnut covers solid in place. I recommend these folks if you need anything. Obviously, know your car and what things are worth and expect little inconveniences at any shop that you go to. No one babies your car as much as you do. But when you need help, it's nice to have places like this that can lend you a hand. They did all the jobs we agreed on in the time we agreed on for the price and materials we agreed on. I brought my old Mazda Miata for an oil change. It took nearly 2 hours... and that was after they put my car on the lift. Other people in the waiting room had similar long waits. When I left, the rep told me to buy some coolant and to top off my radiator. Bought it. When I got home, after letting the car cool down, I discovered that the coolant was already full. It is also the first time ever that the repair shop did not put a sticker on the windshield to remind me when I next had to change the oil. Amazing! read more

They DO NOT work on Teslas! I called and specifically asked if they could do an alignment on my Tesla and their incompetent answering service said yes. They asked for my specific year, make, and model and made an appointment. Of course after wasting my time going to the actual shop, they said they do not work on teslas and blamed it on their answering service. They had my contact info and could have called/emailed me to tell me not to go, but clearly the shop is also incompetent. Even if they do other services on teslas, don't trust them! I came in for a simple oil change using a Groupon deal, and as a woman, I left feeling taken advantage of. They told me there were metal shards in my oil and refused to do the service, which felt like an excuse to upsell me. I might not be contacted by the corporation, but this review will be read. A month ago I went to the Saldalfoot Plaza for new tires. It took me 5 visits to try to get my tires not vibrate whenn I drive on the highway (today 10/8/2024 was my 5th visit, I couldn't test them on the highway). When I arrived home for lunch, I noticed that one of the wheels had a scratch in the inside part, behind the spokes. Crearly is a scratch from trying to take out the old balancing weights. I called, they told me to do the inspection. When the employee in charge showed up (Vince) I pointed him where it was and that I was afraid that there were more scratches (they used in the prior tire balancing, 3 times by the way, the clip type of weights on a painted wheel) because of the type of weights they used before. The car was lifted on the bridge and I went under to check eachone of the wheels in the inner side. All of them had scratches from the clip weights, that they took off today when they rebalanced them. None of wheel came with clip weights whem I got this car, brand new, from the dealership. I will never go back to this place and I don't recommend to anyone to go there. read more

Back up a star just because their tire repair is honestly so reliable, prompt and coupled with polite service...and very necessary around here in the land if constant crash street debris. Also, another star back up because their prior apology regarding my concerns after an oil change really is appreciated. Finally, a big star for honesty... a virtue in and of itself and a commodity that is in short supply nowadays. We brought my wife's car in with a nail head sticking out of the middle of her LF tread, and went to pick up an hour or so later: no charge. Why? No actual puncture. I surmise that about 99.98% of other shops would write up the charge anyhow because there is no way anyone would ever know and it's Boca, with a perception that residents have extra money so a little take on the sly won't kill anybody...but no, they were 100% honest. There are a few worth traveling for, good dentist, chiropractor and an honest mechanic. These guys are worth traveling for. I came in with multiple issues, mainly tire problems that snowballed into tires, rims and oil pan. Matthew and the guys at Tire Choice not only explained the problems in detail, offered as many options as he could think (mostly to save me money) but then let me leave my car in the lot till I could figure the best way to take care of it. These people have been working on my truck for 2 years. My truck had been over-heating and they told me I needed a new radiator. Replaced and paid for that but still had problems. It has still not been fixed, nearly 2 years later. 7/4/22, I brought it in for an oil change and to fix a slow leak in my driver's side front tire. I believe it was Malcom (personality of a sloth) called me and said, "we fixed your tire but we won't do the oil change because you have too many leaks." I told him I knew that (and so should he given my history there) and to please change it anyway. He refused me. I also asked that they check all the tires and my fluids. Reluctantly, I picked-up my truck. While I was driving home, as soon as I reached a speed of 40+ mph, my steering wheel shook badly. Tire may have been fixed but pressures and balancing never took place. I then checked my fluids. NO: windshield wiper fluid; transmission fluid low; and radiator was low. The oil pan was bone dry! I have never left a garage where I felt more in danger of driving my vehicle than I did last week. This is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. This place should get closed down as they represent poor quality and inexperience in anything they said they were going to do! read more

I had a bad tire on my truck. They didn't have my tire in stock but they helped me install my spare at no cost.

I ordered tires from Amazon with shipping and installation to this service 1 week before the service date. I called ahead to make sure they were accepting orders from Amazon. About 3 days later, on Friday, I received notification that the tires were delivered and my service time was scheduled for my one day off on Monday between 3 and 4 in the afternoon. Monday morning I called the service shop to make sure the tires were indeed delivered and to confirm my appointment time for installation. It started with the fact that the person who answered the phone to me sounded like he had 3 bigmacks in his mouth (thank goodness there is a McDonald's nearby). So this person said that my tires are not delivered and have no sense to continue to talk about the time of my service, I tried to argue and tell him that I have a notice from Amazon, as well as a text message on my phone with confirmation of my service time today. In response, just a monotonous mutter that there are no tires and do not need to come. I asked the manager and was told he was the manager. I decided to hang up and call later (maybe another clerk will answer). Made two more calls and the same "chewing Big Mac" employee picked up the phone. It was around 9 am. A second attempt to call and sort it out was made at 11 o'clock and I got lucky. Another employee answered the phone and this time I asked him to speak slower than 5 words per second (yes English is not my first language). Naturally my request was ignored. But he reassured me that the tires are in place and I can come for installation after 3pm. I thanked him and went to do my errands. I brought my car to the service at the appointed time and was told it would be ready in 2 hours. I asked for a call to notify me when it was ready. It's been 3 hours, the time is 6:30pm. The service shop according to Google closes at 7pm. I call to make sure my car is ready. The answer: sorry, lots of cars, come back tomorrow! I say: tomorrow I have to be on this car at work at 8am. He: Sorry I can't help cause the foreman is busy with another car and we'll deal with yours tomorrow. I say: I have to cancel my Amazon order and cancel the installation since I have to work tomorrow at 8am on this car. Finally agreed they will do it tomorrow morning at 7:30am and I can pick it up by 8am. I was just confused that the car loaded with 10K worth of equipment would be on the street until tomorrow and I decided around 7pm to come and pick it up so I could bring it the next morning right before shop opened. Got there around 7 o'clock and saw they were working on my car. Asked Mr. "5 words a second" when it would be ready. Answer: in 30 minutes. Okay, I went out for a 30 minute walk, came back at 7:30 service is tightly closed and only visible in the office of my Mr. "5 words in a second". He says everything is closed and I can't give you the car. I confusedly point to his watch and say that he told me 30 minutes ago to come at 7:30. In response, the accusation that I did not come in 30 minutes, but in 45, which of course is not true. All right, he says wait and goes inside and locks the door. I waited 10 minutes - no movement. I knocked on the office door and he asked me to wait a little longer. I had some time before I had to pick up my daughter from evening practice. It was another 30 minutes until I finally realized no one here cared about me and I left. You need to look for such an irresponsible attitude to customers and their time. However, 2 of my lug nuts were movable with my fingers & my tire was shaking. I was on the highway & it easily could've turned disastrous. Tire Choice Auto Service Center is unreliable and unprofessional. I drop my car off for a simple tire change and they told me two hours max. I called ahead before I picked it up and they said we were not ready we were behind fine, three hours later I called they said we haven't gotten started yet. Four hours later I called and they said we were just starting. I'll show up 4 1/2 hours later to see that they had lied to me. Meanwhile, I have stuff to do I have a six-month-old baby at home that's being watched it needs to be cared for. I understand things happen but they gave me no heads up no call ahead no transparency whatsoever I had multiple choices of place. I could take my car to get the tires changed so it irks me that they could be this irresponsible. On top of all that they charge me for an alignment and then didn't do it but expect me to take it back to get it done for free another day because they didn't have time to do it today. They scuffed up my rims and after putting on the tires they didn't even put the air in them correctly. What a waste of time and money go somewhere else and save yourself the time there's plenty of other places in the area. Started off right with our first visit a few months ago when they patched a tire for us. Work was done correctly and fairly priced but this was a 10-minute stop... not much to observe and report via a review. But we did say we'd be back if something comes up; after all, we had no issues just yet. The day came that we need mechanical help.... CAR NUMBER ONE... Brakes began to make a grinding noise and were in need to be checked. A mechanic friend checked them out and even managed to get us a quote to replace. Then we called Gold Coast and told them what we needed and they priced it competitively. Once they removed the tires, the manager (Nick Scalisi) stated the brakes have been grinding for months. We told him we didn't notice until now but he found it necessary to give attitude and say it's impossible and so on. I moved past his comments and let him do the brake work. IMPORTANT INFO... When we dropped the car and provided our info, we also mentioned we had a coupon for $20 off brake work from the website. Once the job was done we paid and headed home. 20 minutes later I called Nick (manager) because we forgot to show him the coupon and I wanted the discount. He clearly stated that he remembered to take off the discount and it is notated on the receipt. An hour later I looked and it was NOT reflected. I called him to have it refunded to me and he said "TOO LATE, I ALREADY CLOSED OUT THE REGISTER". I requested he do it in the morning but he said there is nothing he could do and he'll take it off future work. FUTURE WORK (CAR NUMBER TWO)... My car was in desperate need of two rear tires; not your everyday tires. I coincidently gave Nick the tire info when we did the brakes for the other car. He never quoted the tires even though he assured me he was going to call me with a quote and due to his attitude and for F'ing me over 20 dollar, I got my tires replaced elsewhere (3 weeks after the brake job) for a mere 760 dollars for 2 tires (easy work that Gold Coast could have done if they had only acted like gentlemen). It's fair to say we will not be back and would NEVER recommend. UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO MANAGER COMMENT ON 12/2/13 4 months later you reply with such accurate information and memory of something that occurred roughly 120 days ago... AND your info is incorrect... I would give this place negative stars if I could. At the end of January, I was leaving the Boca Raton area to head back to the Cleveland area. Day before, I discovered a screw in my tire along with a slow leak. Ended up at this place. Fast forward... After driving for 5 hours at 70-75 mph, I heard a noise... then felt a vibration. I immediately got off and pulled into parking lot... 3 OF MY LUG NUTS WERE MOVABLE WITH MY FINGERS!!!! This place almost KILLED me. They never tightened all the lug nuts and sent me on my way. The mechanics who helped me after this could not believe I was standing in front of them. But it gets better... Silvio Rodriguez, the manager.... was anything but "nice"... it wasn't his fault, our tire was faulty (so why would you send me on my way if this was true, knowing I was in for an 18 hour ride home?) if I wanted it fixed I needed to go to a place of his choice. (Closest one was over an hour. Umm.. NO) incredibly rude.. as was Renaldo his side kick. Fast forward... I'm home and my car is fixed. I call Silvio to tell him he can call my mechanic and take care of the bill... he informs me he is busy and may be able to get to it tomorrow... I'm sorry .. I'm threatening to sue you, we've come to terms on what's going to happen with the bill.. and you tell me your busy??? Wouldn't you want to settle this bill immediately??? And... on top of that, asked me for the 10th time the name and phone of my mechanic. Again... wouldn't you think this is important enough to keep the number handy??? My guess is that this is not the first time there's been a significant problem. I didn't read the other reviews before posting this one but did see that they only had 2 stars. I purchased 3 new tires and the alignment package on December 6th. On December 9th as I was driving back from my son's daycare the tire started loosing air while I was driving. The tire went completely flat after driving a couple of blocks so I was not able to make it to the gas station. The tire had a big tear on the inside side of the tire. When I went to the shop the manager tells me, he disagrees with me and that I must have driven over something and that it was my fault for not buying road hazard protection. I am no tire expert but a tear that big when I was driving on a smooth pavement without debris is not possible, unless the tire was defective. They are charging me for a new tire now and I am stuck with the other 2 possible defective tires. If something happens to me or my family while driving they will be directly responsible for selling bad quality products and not standing behind it. I am never coming back to this store, if you are reading this you should probably do the same. read more

Have been a customer/ Tire Choice card holder for many years. Have used several locations- but nothing tops the 1118 N Dixie Highway location. As an old saying says: "starts from the top" why this branch is above the rest (and would not go to any of the others-with the Company) it's because the the leadership, professionalism of dealing with customers, effectiveness of services, I can go on and on. The difference maker is the Mgr- Donald M. and leads- serving. Staff follow those principles and ethics, making it a pleasure experience- every time. dreadful horrible experience! i had called prior to bringing my car in they had confirmed it wasn't a problem they would get it in within an hour i show up 15 minutes later with my car explain to them what's going on and asking for their opinion. after waiting in the lobby for 3 hours "manager then told me they weren't getting my car in they didn't have time they were too busy bring it back another day" after charging me almost a $50 diagnostic fee which he told me it would be $35 but couldn't explain all the other applicable fees. i demanded a refund immediately and asked for him to tell the general manager or the corporate office why he was initiating the refund in the first place which he refused to mention. are not trustworthy not liable and make false promises. not much professionalism going on here. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!! Three vehicles repaired. I have been a customer for ten years. Lost my business. They lied to me as to what needed to be replaced on one vehicle ($2,000), they estimated something completely not needed on another ($1,500) and they changed the oil on my Mercedes indicating the wrong type of oil. Then it started leaking oil. Took it somewhere else to have the oil changed AGAIN because the invoice said regular oil. Mercedes takes synthetic. Turns out the oil leak from my Mercedes was because they put the wrong gasket on AND DID NOT SCREW THE OIL PLUG ON CORRECTLY. Had to have the engine cleaned. Called corporate. THEY DO NOT CARE. Now I am filing a complaint with the State of Florida. This is bad business practice. They lost a ten year+ excellent paying customer, along with all the referrals I gave. read more

To say that I'm disappointed by my experience here would be an understatement. The people who work here were all incredibly nice. However I brought my vehicle in to fix a leaking tire on a Friday. They fixed it within a couple of hours. I took it home and went to drive it the next morning only to find the tire completely flat. I called them immediately and they claimed that I must've gotten a flat tire on my way home. It's so laughably improbable that's what actually happened. I wish they had stood behind their work. I feel completely taken advantage of by this company and would never ever go back there, nor would I recommend them to anyone. read more

Had a flat tire, they took 3 hours to fix it, forgot to call me to tell me it was done. I had asked about a battery replacement for a tire pressure sensor as I had been told previous it needed to be replaced. MJ, was nice enough to inform me that it was only $130 to replace, then upon calling to find out if my car was ready was told it was broken and the mechanic fixed it for free. When I got there I mentioned the lapse in time when he was supposed to call me to let me know my vehicle was finished, his response was "well it's busy and we did fix your sensor for free." As if it was a huge favor to me, a day later the same light is on that the tire pressure sensor needs is an issue. So much for the "favor." Very rude millennials running the front now. I feel like we get a screw stuck in one of our tires once a month. It just rains bolts in Boca. Anyway, we always bring our cars here for tire repair. It's a professional joint and they are very honest. One time, after they lifted the car and checked, it turned out the bolt had only made it into the tread - it was just short of puncturing the tire. They returned the car, no charge. I honestly don't think I would have noticed it was missing any repair since I wasn't watching them work on the car. I wouldn't go anywhere else now. read more

Nobody likes buying tires but this place made it painless. Scott Elpern the manager was kind enough to let me bend his ear asking everything about warranty, noise, ratings, etc. I was determined to get the best tires for the least money. Scott and crew completely hooked me up on the tires and synthetic oil change but then they went the extra mile. The technician Jose noticed my 6 month old battery was not as charged as it should be and suggested I go back to the dealer where I got it and do a warranty claim. Horrible experience. Went in after my battery went in my car. Costs $19.99 just for them to tell me what was wrong with car. Which is fine. Then they try to force me to get a new alternator and battery for a whopping $798! Meanwhile, it was obvious that the alternator was fine on my pretty new car, because after it was jumped it was still running 2 hours later. When I told them no, he got very pushy and annoyed with me, which is fine because I was pretty annoyed with these crooks myself. When i went to pay for the $19.99 "check out' fee, I didn't pay attention and paid a total of $24.81. They did not put the cover to my battery back on and shut the hood. As i drove off i noticed it and had to lift hood and fix. Cover was bent. I went to Firestone in East Boca and they told me my alternator was fine and i just paid for a battery. While sitting at Firestone I looked at bill from The Tire Choice and they charged me a mandatory $1.50 fee for sale of battery and $2.00 shop disposal fee. There was no battery sold and no work done. Update- the manger did refund my the entire amount. So I removed some of this review :) btw still haven't needed the alternator. Lol read more
