Excellent service; quick response for my appointment online as well as very professional manner when I checked in. Being a Sunday, it can be hard to find places that are open and can provide service, but this was perfect. The waiting area was pleasant with a tv and bathroom as well as complimentary water, and for an oil change and air filter change I was in and out in about an hour, even with other people waiting as well. With an appointment, a SIMPLE oil change took an hour and half. (Without tire rotation). They managed to find several things wrong with my car, which is their job. However, after sitting for twice as long as I should have, I politely asked them not to price things out today and that would take care of it all another day. AVOIDE BROADWAY AVE. TIRE CHOICE STORE in Boise. This review applies only to the Broadway Tire Choice store. I have never been treated poorly as I was at this tire store. They received tires I bought and had shipped to them from Tire Rack because they say on the Tire Rack web site they are a "Tire Rack Installation Facility." I went to their store, saw the tires for my Jag and told them I was going into the hospital and would need to schedule installation a few months down the road. They sad, "No problem. Call us when you are ready to install them. When I called them several months later to have my tires installed they claimed no record of them. What??? I called the Tire Rack on-line store to get confirmation they were in fact shipped and received at/by Tire Choice. Suddenly Tire Choice makes the claim they never received them??? Wait a minute. I was there. They showed them to me and now a few months later (as we agreed) my paid for tires re gone??? How does that happen, unless the store is a den of thieves, not saying they are but what the heck? Where are my tires that I paid for? The store guy told me to talk to the Tire Choice District Manager. OK. So I did. A typical California asshole (he lives in northern California). I have an electronic signature showing the tires were delivered to Tire Choice, Broadway and he said, "Not good enough." I have shipping dates from Tire Rack and receipt dates from Tire Choice but that's not good enough. This guy wants to see a written signature. WTF??? The IRS accepts electronic signatures, everybody, but this guy, accepts electronic signatures. So in other words he is telling me he thinks I am a liar because I don't have an actual signature for commerce I was not involved in but his store was? So I am out $700 in tires I paid for because of a jerk named Lon Goldstein who lives in Northern California but controls a bunch of stuff here in Idaho, meaning you really have no recourse if you run into a tough situation as I did. They will first call you a liar then deny everything from there. Another thing about the Broadway Tire Choice store. They failed to tighten my oil filter after my Jeep Cherokee was serviced there. Damn near ruined my engine. Good thing I caught it in time because I feel they would have denied it was a result of their lousy service. AVOID BOISE BROADWAY TIRE CHOICE STORE! I see from the reviews here that a number of women have gotten the run around by the guys at Tire Choice Broadway. I feel I got the same treatment because I am old (75). What they don't know is my background. I know more about automobiles than they ever will. I'm just a bit too old to twist the wrenches anymore. Shame on anyone who tries to take advantage of a lady... but I can definitely see it happening at this store. read more

A lesson learned the expensive way. My work van just stopped so I had it towed to Orchard site. Its was the fuel pump. So to replace that and a $19.00 oil change, it cost me $1085, which is $100.00 more than I was told over the phone. Larry Miller the dodge dealer said they would do it for $320.00 in labor & 192.00 for the part. I would of be way ahead to have to tow truck come back and take to the dealer. Truly terrible. Dropped my car off to have the oil changed and the tires rotated. When I picked it up they asked if I'd been told about my check engine light (which wasn't on when I picked it up nor when I dropped it off) or my battery. When I asked what the check engine code was they said "uh, we didn't check but you definitely need a new battery". So I asked them to go check. They ended up jumping my battery and and telling me that the check engine code was because I had a dead cell on my battery. Don't think a check engine light comes on for that. Furthermore, when I took it to ORiley auto parts later that day the battery , alternator, and starter all tested fine. Not sure why they think it's okay to treat anyone like this- but I have to assume it's because I'm a woman. Screw these guys. read more

Probably the worst place you can go to have your car serviced. They broke my bumper then did not even let me know about it until I figured it out myself. I spoke with three different managers including the District manager ( who is an idiot) he assured me they would not be paying for any type of repair to my vehicle . They are only 8 months old and as I'm looking at a tread recommendation display on the table so I asked the guy where our tread would be rated. We didn't buy any tires today. I trust their team without question. They are knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt. My latest visit ended up being quite the list of needed repairs and not what I expected. But Gerry was fantastic: thorough in explaining what they'd found, the recommended services, and any alternative options I might have. Though I haven't taken advantage of all of the services offered by this service station, I believe that the folks here genuinely care about providing a great service and keeping their customers happy. I've come in for two full synthetic oil changes because they offer high quality oil products at a very fair price. Each time, I've walked in rather than making an appointment and the wait time has been quite reasonable. To save a little more time, it's recommended that you call ahead and schedule an appointment. Though I'm not yet in need of new tires, the folks here took a good chunk of time going over potential tire options and really seemed to know their stuff. Honest folks who genuinely care! read more

Shaddy and unethical place of business! I took my car here on Sunday Jan 12, 2020 to have a flat tire fixed. I paid $19.36. I was told by the mechanic he had to plug the hole and that the tire would be fine. Two days later the same tire went flat. I went to Les Schwab and learned there was no plug in the tire and the nail was still there. Les Schwab fixed the tire for free. I called Good Year (Superior Tire) to speak to the manager Randy. I told him what happened and all he could say is I will look into it. Randy also said he would give me a free oil change. How is it a free oil change when Good Year (Superior Tire) still owes me $19.36 for the tire they did not fix. Do not take your vehicles here! If they are willing to rip me off for $19.36, I wonder how many other customers they have done this to? read more

So apparently this business has been sold in the last year and new management won't stand behind work done prior. Had bought brand new Goodyear tires in Eugene, Or. 1 month later one tire got a nail and went flat. Took tire in to Broadway location where they refused to replace the tire and charged me for a new one. Well after taking the car to another shop for rotation it was identified they had sold me a tire of a different size. Shop now says no biggie, don't worry about it and we won't do anything about it. This review is related to both the Garden City and Downtown Locations as I dealt with both during my ordeal. Highly disappointed in the standards at this location and the downtown location. My new tire search began with calling around to a few places and good year offering the best price overall for four new tires for my vehicle. I was so excited to get a price that almost matched online prices. I figured Good Year is a reputable company right? What could go wrong? I went ahead and ordered my new set of tires with them and they arrived the next day. After my vehicle spent most of the day at this location (even though I was quoted a couple of hours) I finally received the call that my vehicle was done. I picked up my vehicle and drove home and it was late so I didn't do any other driving. The next day I woke up and had to run some errands. I immediately noticed my front tires had an extreme wobble to them and the truck was pulling to the right which was not happening before the tire install. (This is the second time I would go to good year). After calling and speaking to someone there I brought the vehicle back and they explained that they had just switched balance weights and that the ones they use now ARE NOT as good as they used to be and it must have fallen off the front tire as it was out of balance again (Why would you tell a customer your products are bad and continue to use them?). After they had my vehicle for an extended period of time, I was able to get back on the road and run my other errands when I noticed that the pulling right issue was still present. I was getting frustrated at this point and called back again the next day. I was told by the employee over the telephone "I'm sorry, we weren't able to get it up on the rack yesterday so we didn't get to look at that issue. Why don't you bring it back?" Not to mention, uh... If you weren't able to fix one of the issues because you were too busy why would you hand me back my keys and tell me "You're good to go!" on my second visit back? So the next day I brought my vehicle back for a third time and was told they would get to it when they could. I ended up grabbing some lunch for an hour or so and ended up going home via Uber expecting it to be awhile. As soon I got home I received a call from an employee explaining my tires were to big to get on the alignment rack. HOW. IN. THE. WORLD. Could you guys not know this before I brought my vehicle back for a third time? You knew my tire size because you've dealt with my three times now. Come on guys! I was told I could go to the downtown location where they have a larger alignment rack. I called the downtown location and explained what was going. The employee here was fairly rude employee and apparently he was someone doesn't have a very large vocabulary because his only reply each time I spoke was an awkward "alright". In the end I didn't end up going to the later appt. as I no longer trust good year to preform adept services. It appears that once they have your money they no longer care for you or the problems they have caused you. I highly suggest paying a little more if it is your case and going elsewhere. Thought all was well until we popped the hood the following day and found the exhaust manifold dismantled with bolts missing and air filter lying on top crushed. Horrible experience. Ignition switch and stearing column replaced. 3 weeks later smoke out of the switch. Had to be towed. Next I needed a new radiater due to the tow company. Next the aircondition condenser, connected to the radiator, fell out and dragged on the ground. Prior to this they did an oil change, it leaked like a sieve, they put the wrong oil plug in. This cost me over $700, they deny the shorted wires could have taken out my starter, they also denied my ac condenser was caused by them until I showed them the bolts going through the new radiater. read more
