-100 stars. Endangered the life of my new fiancée with their negligence. Brought my 2013 Subaru Legacy here on April 25, 2026 for a TPMS sensor replacement. Their techs also removed my left front wheel for a courtesy inspection (a wheel unrelated to the work I paid for). Fifteen days later, my fiancée was driving the car when she felt severe vibration. The left front wheel was so loose I could move it by hand - one stud had sheared off and the rim's lug holes were wallowed out from the wheel oscillating against the studs at highway speed. It was obvious the lug nuts were not properly torqued at installation. I brought it back the very next day. Their own written estimate documented "LF wheel stud broken... left front wheel spokes bored out... needs new wheel," "studs stripped," and "recommend towing vehicle" - then quoted me $384.14+ to fix damage their own technician caused. Manager Jonathan Pezzatta refused responsibility, claimed there was "no way to confirm" the shop was at fault, and suggested that because I'd used an impact wrench to snug the dangerously loose wheel enough to limp the car to his shop, I must service my own vehicles and was therefore to blame. The logical problem with that position: if the wheel had really been that damaged on April 25, his techs had a duty to identify and disclose it then. They didn't - because the damage didn't exist yet. I took the car across the street to Tire Discounters. Their ASE-certified tech wrote on the invoice: "REPLACE LF WHEEL, STUDS AND NUTS, WAS LEFT LOOSE BY ANOTHER SHOP." Total: $622.97 out of pocket, for damage caused by negligence here. A wheel coming loose at highway speed is a potential fatality, not a minor service mistake. I have photos, both invoices, and the loose wheel video. Complaint already filed with Monro corporate; AG/BBB and small claims to follow if not made whole. Get your wheels re-torqued elsewhere if you've been here recently. I have attached photos of the damaged rim and studs, a picture of the visibly loose wheel when I inspected it upon my fiancée getting home. I also have a video of the dangerously loose wheel before I tightened it - it's VERY loose. Ultimately, I'm just lucky my fiancée made it home OK. Be safe out there. read more

It has been a LIVING NIGHTMARE!!! I dropped off my car 4 days ago because of a strange noise. The next day they called me and told me there was nothing wrong with my car but I still asked for a second opinion. That's when the main tech came and drove my car, and heard my sound. He basically told me it has something to do with my shocks and structs. Since I have somewhere to be the next day. I asked him if it would be done the same day. He said yes, it will be done towards the end of day. That's when I agreed to getting my car fixed. It was been two days since that original date and my car still isn't fixed. I have to consistently call them to get any update. If I was aware of how extensive this repair would be I would've just gotten a flight so I wouldn't have to miss out on my own vacation. I called them yesterday because they again told me IT WOULD BE DONE THAT NIGHT and the man who answered the call told me that the original tech "fuck up something" and they have to get another tech to fix it. That absolutely terrifying to hear, god knows how much longer they are going to keep my car. I might have to miss out on my entire trip and on top of that pay 1700 for some "fucked up" work. I have literally begged on the phone for my car back, I don't want it fixed by them anymore, I can't trust that my car would even come back better, because who knows what the mystery tech messed up. I only came here because they put tires on my car and they were wonderful when it came to just that, but that was months ago, so I don't know what happened. I JUST WANT MY CAR!!!! UPDATE: 06/16 I called them around 10am and asked them about my car again and they were very persistent on the fact it will be done today. The man who answered the phone told me that nobody is leaving until my car finished. I tried to explain to them that they have been giving me empty promises this entire time, and surprise they are still not finished with my car. I had to pull up to the store CLOSED!! and nobody inside, since they never called me to give me an update saying my car was not finished. I have missed out on 2 vacation days so far. I might as well cancel my trip but I won't be allowed anymore time off. I wish they were just honest with me from the beginning and I would have never signed myself up for this crap. I could've been with my family but instead now im calling them every 2 hours asking for any update on my car. Update: 06/18 My car is finally finished, they only fixed one side and the noise is still there....They also replaced parts that had no business with being replaced, but they said they replaced them for "free" so sweet of them. I ended up taking a bus to visit my family because I couldn't wait any longer for them. Overall this whole thing was just pointless. I will never come here again. read more

Lobby could use a good sweeping and LORD the chairs need replaced. They look sticky and smelly. The lobby could use an overhaul and maybe a water cooler. There's a small TV in the lobby and a few magazines that sit on a dirty stand in the corner. There is no music but, with the TV on, I guess this is OK. I arrived at 4:45pm for a 4:45 appointment. There were two guys working. I was quoted 45 minutes and it literally took all of 45 minutes which is fine. I came for an oil change, tire rotation and general inspection. The guy working on my car had ZERO sense of urgency but he did a great job. I was told that my car requires synthetic blend oil which is completely false so, I could not receive the conventional oil deal for 14.99 and had to pay the $24.99 price. However, the price difference is still a steal. So, I said WHATEVZ. However, what really got me is the fact that he said that my oil did not need changed for another few thousand miles. When you looked at my windshield, you saw that my last change was NOT DUE. So, why change my oil anyways? Why not just do my inspection and be a bit more ethical. I can't give more than 2 stars feeling like they blatantly stole money from me without simply informing me that the service I was requesting was not needed. read more

Had a nail in my tire this morning causing low tire pressure light to come on. I choose this place being near my job. The charge was $40 fir the tire patch. I had never paid to patch a tire previously. And No coupons online. After paying and looking at the receipt I was charged for a rebalance. I was never asked if I wanted my tire rebalanced. I have had tires patched in the past never needing a rebalance which charged a Fee of $9.39. Also a shop supply fee of $3.53. My advice do not go here to have a tire patched. Mr. Tire in Dublin always did this same service for me at no Charge. read more

It seems like a lot of these reviews are older. So figured i would give an updated one. I've been going to this place for a few years now. I've gotten mostly oil changes, but recently, got some higher and more in-depth maintenance items taken care of because my car is getting older. Rotors, injection system flush, alignment, and a battery change. I would say that overall, their pricing is average but they try to work with you as much as possible. For the injection system, alignment, and battery change I was originally quoted nearly $500. But the guy over the phone who I was making the appointment with, took $60 off in coupons. Then when I got there for my actual appointment I asked how much it would cost for a tire rotation and they said they would do it at no charge. Then when I picked it up they took another $10 off. So all in all I got $70 off plus a free tire rotation. Angel and Herb are great and are very people-focused. My car runs a lot smoother now and I just truly trust these people. By the way, with every oil change they do a 32-point inspection, and write down any recommended services, but they DO NOT try to push a sale. They truly are just letting you know what services need done and you can either take it or leave it. This place is in the business of taking care of cars and their customers. I was in town visiting my daughter. While driving back to her apartment from lunch the brakes went out on my vehicle. Called the guys here on a Sunday afternoon and they got me in and got me back on the road. They even worked past closing time to finish my truck so I could get back home (2 hours away). I stopped by Tire Choice as a walk in because the Tire Discouners across the street did not want my business (told me to come back when I had more time). I was experiencing a slow leak in one of my tires and needed a fix. Unfortunately I only had about an hour to get it done because I was scheduled for an echo stress test. Tire Choice said they would make it happen and they immediately went and pulled my car into a bay. The fix was only $40 and I was a happy camper. read more

Awful! Got a belt replaced here and my car still squealed like a pig even after 3 attempts to adjust. Belt broke while driving and alternator, power steering, coolant pump etc... stopped working. Had to get a tow. Found belt on road, took it to new mechanic and was told that wasn't even the correct belt in the first place. Could have caused way more collateral damage than it did. I got lucky. I would never recommend you take your car here. Not only was I lied to that the work was done correctly, the price was very high. If you need your car worked on to any capacity, I suggest you find a reputable auto shop. I despise liars and people who try and take advantage of others, and this place did both. read more

It's ironic that they answer the phone with "How may I earn your business" when found every way to lose my business. This was my first and last time at Monro. I had my rotors and pads replaced at this location. They sent me home with my vehicle that night without clips since they put the brakes on and then realized they were missing those parts. They asked me to come back the next day and promised it would take no more than 30 minutes to make it right. I drove home that night with some clanking and rubbing in the brakes but thought it would be remedied with the missing part. I returned the next day during my lunch time and they told me it would be over an hour. Since I did not have an hour I asked my boyfriend to bring it in the following day and made an appointment for 1pm. When my boyfriend showed up early at 10, Tom made reference over the phone to their parts guy regarding how "inconvenient" it was that his 1pm appointment had shown up early then proceeded to let my boyfriend know they did not even have THE PART IN AT THAT TIME, TWO DAYS LATER! He waited 3 hours and left feeling belittled and pretty irritated but I at least thought my car was fixed. I drove the car over the weekend and the rubbing noise still had not subsided. I have had the car for three years and have NEVER had an issue with a low frequency rubbing noise prior to bringing it into their shop. When I called about the noise, made an appointment and brought the car in for the FOURTH time, the manager decided to argue with me in lobby, in front of other customers, stating that I could not POSSIBLY be hearing the front brakes and expressed how inconvenienced he was to take a look at the brakes again. He proceeded to drive it around the block and put it up on the lift. My observation was that he turned the tires a bit, touched them, talked and laughed with his coworkers, then left my car up there and made me wait 30 minutes just to come out and tell me he heard the noise I was describing while driving around but was certain it was not coming from the front brakes. He never removed the tires or inspected the brakes and I left feeling completely insulted with a car that does NOT sound right. I will NEVER return to that location. read more

This place is awful. They are supposed to be open at 7:30am, but each time I go there it's not open. The tech didn't arrive until closer to 8. When I schedule an appointment, they seem to never have it on record, even though I have a confirmation message. Also, when they do have the appointment down, they don't start working on the car until an hour after the appointment was scheduled. The oil change includes a tire rotation, but good luck getting that. I started marking my tires to show them that the rotation wasn't done. And they are always telling me that I need new brakes, even though I just had them replaced. It's not worth the discounted price to go through this much hassle. I'll pay $10 more elsewhere and get the work done well and in a timely manner. read more

First, they take 5 hours to change oil. They have customers complaining about basic things like battery terminals being loose. Makes you wonder if they are putting the oil filters on correctly. Next they messed up my alignment on both of my cars while getting a oil change and rotation. They said they would fix it for 79 bucks. I don't think so. read more

ATTENTION!!! Do not use this place, not only did they scam my Girlfriend into getting her tires balanced without them needing it, they charged her $600 to fix the overheating problem which would've been fine if it was fixed but it was not they then call her explaining that it will be another $2000 to fix a problem they already said was fixed. I drove to pick up her car and when they pulled it out front for me to get it i started the engine the whole engine was shaking it wasn't doing that when we brought it in, the guy told me he would find out the problem and not charge her for what was wrong that was also a lie . These guys are sneaky they will try to squeeze what ever money they can out of you. They're as dirty as they are incompetent! For the sake of your wallet go someplace trust worthy. Horrible. I took my Saturn to Monro on Fishinger Blvd because the pipe was dragging from the catalytic converter. When I was called with a quote, I was given a quote for my brakes and shocks. I had to ask about the muffler/pipe. He had no idea why I brought my car in. He later called back with a 1360.56 estimate. I called a trusted company I used for years when I lived in Licking county, he quoted me 329.00 for the same work! I paid 350.00 OUT THE DOOR for the entire repair. ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS?! Monro is a scam. Do not go here. I am glad I drove the 45 minutes to my trusted place in Licking County. (L & F Muffler in Newark if you are so inclined) read more

After the blatant sexism I experienced going to my dealer, I decided to try this Monro location. The manager is fantastic and appeared to remember my situation even though I initially contacted him a month earlier. I can't speak on the quickness of their service as I tend to drop my car off the night prior to my appointment. I do, however, think they do an excellent job and helped me save money. I'm hit and miss on this place. Mostly miss, I suppose. Was there last summer for new brakes. Full-on everything, front and back. Car was great when I got it back. I was really impressed. As I type this review, my car is at another location for new brakes...front and back. The new place said the parts weren't of a caliber to sustain the heat generated by the car (it's a heavy model). Today's job was quoted at about 55% of what I paid last summer and that's for the higher quality parts. I'll be curious to see how this works but they were certainly right in saying that I'd be back in a year's time if I went with the cheap option. read more

Sad, I've been using this co for years, but now I'll never go back. They told me I needed $1000 in suggested repairs, for a muffler ($300), a battery, a serpentine belt and of all things, an oil pan. I went instead to another muffler place who said I only needed a pipe fix, ($50) and then another shop who said my serpentine was fine. I despise scammers. They never used to be this way, what happened? New mgmt? Sad. Can't run a business this way people. read more
