I've been a customer here for years, and I keep coming back because the service is fast, friendly and reliable, the pricing is pretty much industry standard (although they often have good sales on tires), the mechanics are skilled, and they honor their warranties without giving you a bunch of hassle. Took my RV and TOAD into NTB for service. Replaced the struts on my TOAD and took advantage of a $200 dollar rebate through NAPA. Rebate said it would take 8-10 weeks to come back, but arrived in 2. I wish they would offer a coupon instead of making you jump through hoops but obviously they hope you will forget so they can keep your money. (Like all of Corporate America) Since I was servicing 2 vehicles they gave me a good discount on tires for my RV. Really changed the ride of my vehicle and the last trip to Texas was more enjoyable with less road noise and a smoother ride. My old tires were crappy. Overall a good experience for me. Working in the repair business is a tough job as car customers can be very hard to please. Repairs can be expensive and in a tough economy it can be hard to be able to afford them. The management team seemed willing to work with me as I was traveling to a new job and money was tight. read more

Took my car here to have an alignment, and tires mounted and balanced. When there they determined my gas tank straps were rotten and should be replaced. Had them do that too.. Outcome.. Alignment wasn't done right, car pulled to the left, another shop fixed that. Tires weren't balanced right, took it another shop that rebalanced them. Gas tank straps were replaced but they forgot to reattach the heat shielding so i had to do the straps over again myself.. About on par for ohio mechanic shops.. read more

I am a Service Repair guy and drive a company van and when situations happen, I need to get them fixed asap, I can't drop it off or wait all day to get it in. If I can't drive my van, I can't work! Had a horrible experience with Rayma(the manager) and Fred, I wanted to have my wheels balanced and rotated and had two other vehicles set up that day. My first vehicle has hubcentric wheel spacers, understandably they won't work on car with spacers. However, the manner in which she initially spoke to me, lack of any effort to manage a work around which is her job, finally called Mike Nieman at 614-743-9167 who is the district manager. Who then said I can get them balanced if I take them off myself and bring in the rims and tires. Reach out to mike with all complaints. To give both sides: I was rightly upset that the manger, Rayma, did not try to de escalate the situation, instead instigating more confrontation, stating I don't know what Im talking about. I build custom cars, for a living. I did call her a dick, but it was well deserved. AVOID THIS NTB AND HILLIARD AT ALL COSTS! ALSO the NTB computer system is horrible and even though they have appointments scheduled,. it allows overbooking, online is not accurate for appointment times. Call ahead. I personally think all the positive reviews with Rayma are friends or co-workers giving false sense to consumers. read more

Rayma is the best! I took my Grand Am in on a Sunday morning at 9 am to get its oil changed and was told, they couldn't get to it until 1:30. I told them no big deal, I was going to wait at Panera up the street. About an hour later Rayma called me and told be it was finished! She bumped my car up because she knew I was waiting and was the only person waiting for their car, the rest of the cars people dropped off. When I got my car back of course there were a few other things that needed to be done but nothing major and Rayma even said, just keep getting that oil changed and you can hold off on some of the other stuff. She wasn't pushy or anything just very helpful. It goes to show that great customer service is still alive! read more

It seems to be a trend that people only write reviews of autocare places when they have bad things to say about them. This is rather unfortunate when there are places like this NTB location out there. I need my old 2003 Pontiac Aztek serviced before I traded it in on Tuesday to ensure the best value when I purchased my new car. I explained this to the guys working that evening and they really did a great job. The oil change and tire rotation was a very fair price ($28.99 for both on and SUV is great, actually). The technician who serviced it came out when I was paying and explained to me exactly what he did and the servicing it might need in the future if I decided to keep it after all. The manager on duty that night was nice, welcoming, and easy to chat with as he punched in my info. My mom and I went to grab a bite to eat and my car was ready and waiting as soon as we were done. Couldn't have been more than an hour and that's pretty fast in my experience. Though I have a new car now that's under warranty now and requires service at an authorized location, I'm definitely going to recommend this NTB location to friends in need of a tune-up. read more

I recently had a flat tire and took my vehicle to this NTB to be serviced. I had a small leak in my tire which unfortunately could not be patched up due to the location on the tire. The manager on duty (a very nice woman) was able to get me in 2 new tires for around $280 after mail in rebate. They were able to take me as a walk-in and had me serviced fairly quickly. The only thing keeping this review from 5 stars was that I had to wait an additional 10-15 minutes after my vehicle was done because they were busy with one other customer. Overall, I had a good experience at NTB and will probably be back to have my other tires replaced in the future. read more

I went to fit a flat tire and was told an oil change needs to be done. I went ahead and paid $75 for it, just to find out 3 days later they forgot the put the oil cap back on the engine! Manager was rude and told me when I called to complain that it was not possible because his technician had 30' years of experience...lol For your safety never go there! read more

Visited NTB for an oil change and wiper blades. They ended up detecting a couple fluid leaks. They showed these to me while my car was up on the rack. Seemed legit since I had recently seen evidence of something leaking in my driveway. Hourly labor charge seemed fair. Gave me a ride home since repair was going to take longer than expected. They could definitely make their waiting room nicer, i.e. clean it and spring for decent coffee and creamer, but I'll definitely try them again. read more

We took our car to NTB to fix a flat, as we have bought tires and other services in the past. They told us they couldn't fix the flat (it was not located in sidewall of the tire) and that we had to purchase 4 new tires because the car is AWD (which I understand with AWD cars). Not the most helpful person, didn't explain why couldn't fix the flat tire other than due to where it was and seemed really pushy to just rush us into purchasing 4 new tires. So we went nearby to Discount Tire for second opinion because heard good things from friends, sure glad we did. They were able to fix the flat tire and even did it for free! Perhaps NTB really didn't believe they could successfully fix the flat tire (doubtful), but something felt off like they were just trying to upsell us on 4 brand new tires instead of their $20 cost to fix a flat tire. Discount Tire saved us hundreds of dollars and gained a new customer in us (NTB lost a previous loyal customer). read more

Went to have an oil change and tire rotation. I assume oil was changed but who knows. Tires were not rotated, I was told me the tires in the back are better then the one in the front and needed to stay on the back. ???? Never heard that line before, I rotate the tires to keep even wear. I was given an estimate only for front brakes, 495 dollars. That ridiculous. Parts at retail from auto zone for two rotors and pads 71.97. So I ask where was the estimate on the front drive axle and CV joint. No estimate given. I explained that was what needed replaced. Had a reputable mechanic was to inspect the front end it was very obvious the axle needs replaced as the CV boot is torn. I also explained that the back brakes need replaced but they did not inspect those either. Very poor service, failure to honor their word and do as promised. On their website it states they will do the following *Tire rotation *TPMS reset where applicable *Battery check *Visual brakes check *Wiper fluid top off *Up to 5 quarts of oil Not a reputable business as far as my experience at the Hilliard store location. But hey cheap oil change for 24 dollars. But expect inflated estimates and a half ass job. read more

I came in to get my tire plugged after running over a screw. Needless to say - I was super annoyed - because I had never had this happen before. It was 7:15pm and no place was open - except for NTB. I had never been there before and was not looking forward to the process - but my experience was delightful! Josh was working the front desk and was super nice and chatted with me while my tire got fixed.The guy (whose name I didn't catch) that actually fixed my car was also really nice and funny too! Went in and dropped my car off for an oil change and to check a tire. Called a few hours later to see if my car was ready and was told that my oil dipstick was on its last leg and the tech broke it taking it out. They then had no choice but to replace the dipstick because they must be able to check the oil level after the change. The guy then told me that he would take $20 off of the $45.00 dipstick. Really? $45 for the dipstick? I argued that I shouldn't be responsible for replacing it since the tech broke it. I was told that the dipstick seemed to be previously broke and perhaps glued back together. They gave me my old, broken dipstick and there is no evidence of glue on it. They wouldn't assume the total cost of the dipstick. So, I ended up spending $76.00 on an oil change.. I do have a call out to their corporate office for resolution. If they call me back and make good on this, I will update my review. ****Update - The district manager, Mike Neaman, just called me back and completely made good on this. I appreciate the quick resolution. I'm not going to update my rating because I'll not go back to this particular NTB but they didn't lose me as a customer. read more

So I had them install new tires getting rid of the run flats that came with my car. I bought a doughnut tire and jack from another company and put together what I needed in case I ever got a flat. In checking to make sure I had the correct socket size, I discovered they had torqued my lug nuts to over 110 ft.lbs! The torque specs for alloy wheels is about 70-75lbs. So in addition to putting me in a situation where I may not have had enough strength to loosen the lug nuts, they could have damaged my rims or the lug nuts could break off when trying to loosen. You would think mechanics would not be so careless! read more

I was drawn into this store for the primary fact that they were open on Sundays and they carried high-end tires for my late model Benz. Being in a pinch and needing the job done on Sunday, they told me they could get it done and I trusted them. They quoted me a completion time, and I was okay if they ran over (I'd rather have a good job than a rushed job), but 3 hours after the quoted time, something felt wrong. Upon picking up the car, they gave me my lug nut telling me I must have stripped it when removing a flat. (Really not possible, lug nuts are stripped when you don't hand thread them and power them in). Second, after taking the car home, later in the week I noticed they used a screwdriver to scratch off the wheel weights, consequently scratching the paint on the rim. Lastly, since this is a sport model, the rear tires are wider than the front. So instead of removing one tire at a time and replacing, they took a permanent marker to the paint writing FR (front right), BR (back right), etc to all the tires. Now don't get me wrong, I put my pants on the same as everybody else....and the car is just a car. BUT I will tell you that I work hard and care about everything I do and own. The car is 11+ years old, but it's just as detailed as the day it rolled off the lot because I want it to maintain its value. I am completely disappointed in NTB's lack of care for their job, and the damage they caused to my car. The statement is true...you'll get what you pay for. If you respect your car and value good work and caring team members, this is not the place for you. I will be expecting to hear from NTB very soon to resolve this issue.
