This lead to my speedometer not reading accurately and the tires getting some rub. After determining the correct size my husband decided he really wanted Firestone tires. Our local tire shop doesn't carry Firestone so we opted to try Michel Tires Plus in Louisville. The process went quite smooth. My husband ordered the tires and set an appointment for the following week to have the tires installed and balanced. The business also does an inspection at the same time for brake wear and several other mechanical functions. On the day we dropped the car off the tire shop kept in touch with a slight delay in when the vehicle would be ready. (Only about an hour later than had been originally indicated). We are happy as can be with the new tires and how the car drives. We also were happy with the price and the savings we got by getting their charge card. I would have given the business five stars but they indicated we would be needing a new battery in the near future. Based on that information my husband ordered a battery from an auto shop and then did some checking. It turns out we didn't need a battery at all so my husband had to cancel the battery he had ordered. Although you only need so many tires I can imagine that we would give Michel Tires Plus repeat business.

There's been a huge turnover in the last year due to retirements, health issues etc. However, I still take my vehicles there because the service hasn't changed. Just as promised. The main replacement personnel are just as good or better. Honestly, integrity found there. They warrant their work! The two negative 1 Star reviews should be ignored. Major Red Flags. I…read morebrought them 2 vehicles for service with different needs. 2018 Honda Fit the dealership said was due for front brakes, and a 2021 Toyota Supra I was bringing in for alignment after lowering. The price quoted for the Honda's brakes was not as far from the dealer quote as I would have liked but they said they needed to do a full brake inspection first (despite having the dealer inspection paperwork). Their inspection said the front brakes didn't really need replaced but the back drums needed a much more expensive replacement. I opted out of any work done on that car. They charged me $45.00 (I had a coupon for free brake inspection printed from their website that they did not honor despite phone confirmation) The Supra had the alignment completed, or at least I was billed for one being completed. They did not provide any of the normal telemetry data for before and after alignment. They noted on the bill that one wheel had slightly too much camber, but was not adjustable. If they had said something about that during the process I would have bought a kit to adjust it (instead I will have to have someone else do another alignment on that part of the car). They did not either notice or tell me about the bands in one of the tires being busted to the point where the tire was tearing itself apart. They also did not apply the coupon I left for this car. Summary: Didn't get the work I wanted done on the Honda. Didn't get the discount from their website I took the time to print and leave in the car. Diagnosed a more expensive issue than the dealership. May have gotten the work done on the Supra. Didn't get standard documentation, didn't get told about an issue with the alignment, didn't get told about the safety issue, didn't get the discount from their website I took the time to print and leave in the car.
