went in to get tires changed on my car and had to get them ordered in which i was totally okay with. man says the wait will be about 2hrs which i got time off work for. 2hrs later and its already closing time to see my car still out front and no work had been done. talked to someone about that and they said to come back in tomorrow. terrible service from this shop and i will never go back again. went to discount tire next day right next door and the guy walked outside to me!!! excellent service and price. wish i would have known to go to discount tire sooner before TD waised my time... read more

As I sit here waiting to have my tires put on. 2 hrs into it, I am kinda over it. We live in a world where we don't want to wait. 2-3 hrs to put tires on and alignment? I would love to give 5 stars but I cant. Are they busy? Never more then 4 people waiting from what I can see. Need to hire more tech!!! read more

I love the free rotation and flat fix service here. Expect a wait every time you go tho. I do hate that EVERY TIME I come in that try to sell me rims. My car has 200000 miles on it. Why would I put rims on that? Other than that wonderful service. read more

This is lengthy but worth the read if you care about your vehicle and service! I dropped my vehicle off at the Smyrna location for a new set of tires on May 18. An employee called me and told me that my vehicle was ready to pick up. I entered the store, paid for the work ($1070.00 +), and went out to where they had parked the vehicle. When opening the door I immediately noticed the floor mats were messed up. Thinking they were just not put back in right, I attempted to situate them when I noticed a HUGE "bump"under the floor mat (big enough you had to conscientiously lift your foot over said "bump" to get to the brake). I went back into the store to let them know there was a problem. One of the desk employees came out and look at the "bump", looked under the car, then went in and got someone else who done the same thing. He proceeded to tell me that it appeared the vehicle was improperly blocked and the lift had went through the sheet metal. I asked them why I wasn't informed of the damage and he stated that he was unaware this had happened. He went into the garage and asked the service tech that performed the work if there had been any problems with the Explorer, which the tech denied. Seven days later, after multiple conversations with the regional manager, we got a rental car. It's been 3 weeks and my vehicle is still not fixed. There is not only cosmetic damage but also mechanical damage. Tire Discounters did not handle the situation appropriately and clearly their employees have zero integrity. They were going to send me on my way without mentioning the damage. Trust me when I say your money would be better spent somewhere else. read more

The staff is friendly & I feel that the prices are good. I bought 4 tires that came with a $100 gift card. The tires come with free rotation & balancing, which the balancing can cost about $80 for 4 tires normally. The staff is friendly & helpful, but I also always feel like they're trying to add more to the bill, "do you want to get some rims" etc. read more

I would give them zero stars if it was an option. I'm not a big fan of writing reviews and all of that, but oh man, this place pushed me to do it. I went for diagnostics and they charged me 70 bucks compared to their 40 bucks advertised. They had no idea what they were talking about. All I got from them was that it could be "this or that". They were pretty much clueless on what it was exactly and what needed to be fixed and wanted to take the trial and error path for it. They were going to charge me about a $1000 for stuff. I took it somewhere else and I fixed it for $120. It turned out to be a simple sensor problem. Before I went, I did my research and I figured that it could be that sensor that's causing the issue, but I had no tools to make sure. When I went, I told them to specifically look at that sensor. Apparently their "master technician", as they call him, wasn't a good enough master to know what that is. Not mention the check engine light with a PCM problem that came on as soon as I left their shop. I never had such problem with the car before I took it there. So not only were they not able to fix the problem, they caused more problems. To sum it up, please do your self a favor and not go to them for diagnostics. If you have to work on your tires and you have no other option, then just take it there, but NO MECHANICAL STUFF! read more

Excellent customer service. Rates are reasonable and probably about the same as you would find elsewhere, but here the service stands out. They patched a tire for me for free, so I came back when I needed to buy a new full set a few months later. They didn't have my desired tires in stock so they upgraded me to the next higher tire at the same price. They never pushed me to go for high price tires or additional services. It helps to call them on the phone rather than use their website. The website doesn't always work, but when you call a real live person will answer the phone and take care of anything for you. They are a full service mechanic, not just tires. So I will come back when my car needs its next service. read more

Terrible! Had a nail in my tire causing a leak- took my suv in yesterday planning on traveling today. Don't know what they are doing or they lied! Said they found nothing wrong. This am, found my tire completely flat. HUGE nail in it like we said! Instead of leaving on time today, we had to deal with changing into the spare. Tire Discounters has left a comment on my review asking me to contact them on their website if I am interested in continuing to work with them. I have left two complaints on the website they've asked me to contact them through. I've been contacted once (before two tires went flat). I have asked for the service manager who lied about me needing three new tie rods to call me. You say you have policies in place to sell only the needed service and parts. Why was I told I needed parts totaling 440 dollars in material and labor that was not needed at all? Found a nail in my 4Runner and called Tire Discounters since they were recently new to the area and I like to give new business a chance to earn my business, bring it in we can deal with it straight away, was there in ten minutes, they took the vechile back and not only repaired the one tire but rotated it with my spare and swapped over the rim too, all completely FREE of any charge, agent didn't try to sell me anything else and the CSR that served us was extremely polite and helpful, (sorry didn't catch he's name )thank you TD we will return when we need tires, that's what customer service is all about read more

I was driving from St. Louis to Atlanta, and had driven through some bad weather. One of my tires had gotten pretty low, so I filled it up at a nearby gas station and let it sit while I grabbed dinner. I could tell it was leaking, so luckily Discount Tire was nearby. Went in, they patched the tire (no charge!!) and sent me on my way in under an hour. The guys are great and efficient, plus they offer free kuerig coffee and water. Back on the road! read more

There isn't an option to give them a zero so I was forced to give them a one just so I could write this review. I am new to this Smyrna area and was trying to find a place that I could get my oil changed on my car. I absolutely loved the place (wholesale inc.) I took my car for the last three years but now it's an hour away from us. So I tried out tire discounters because it was one of the few places in Smyrna that changes oil. I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes and then they came out and said that there is a problem "they can't change my oil because they can't get the oil pan bolt off." They said whoever worked on my car before didn't know what they were doing and had made it so that they were unable to change my oil without replacing the oil pan bolts and oil pan gasket which was going to cost me $400. I told them that I would be taking my car to the place that was servicing it before because if that was the case they would need to fix their mistake. But I just left wholesale inc. and my bill was $31.27!!!! They said they had no problem getting my oil pan bolt off. So here is my first impression of tire discounters and the reason why I will never do any business with you and neither will anyone in my family. I can tell when I'm being taken advantage of and I felt exactly that, A young woman walking into your store with two children under the age of two who knows nothing about cars right?! I am annoyed that you are still in business. You could have at least convinced me to buy a new bolt for my car but you got me on the "replacing the whole oil pan gasket." And the bolt was going to be $94.99, are you freaking kidding me?! Plus when I said I was leaving to take my car somewhere else your verbal quote of $400 changed to $277.51 on paper. I do hope that you will read this review and change the way you do business. It should not be about a quota or selling people parts or services that they don't need on their car. It's about honesty, integrity and family something that you say you stand for but actions speak louder than words. read more
