Tire Doctor will not give estimates on the phone for a regular tune up although make & model of car was provided. Bad deal.

Nigel told me everything about battery diagnose and I was surprised that my repurchase inspectors had absolutely no clue about the issue.

From a Rough Start to a Positive Resolution…read more I brought my vehicle to Mavis to have a rear wiper blade replaced. During the service, the technician removed the blade and the assembly broke immediately. I was told afterward that the part was "brittle" and that I would need to pay for the replacement. What was disappointing is that the wiper was working perfectly fine before I brought it in for service and only failed during removal. I've been going to Mavis for years, which is why this experience was especially frustrating. While I understand older parts can be fragile, I feel there should have been better communication upfront about the risk or more accountability for what happened during the service. Given that the wiper was fully functional before the service and failed immediately during removal, I expected some responsibility or goodwill adjustment from the shop. Because of this experience, I do not plan on returning to this location. I hope future customers are made aware when parts may be at risk during service so expectations are clearer. Review update After speaking with the team, Mavis agreed to replace the rear wiper arm assembly at no cost, and I truly appreciate them making the situation right. I've been a longtime customer, so it meant a lot that they listened to my concerns and worked with me toward a fair resolution. Thank you to the staff for taking care of the issue and standing behind the service.

WARNING: This place is a scam artist's paradise and a customer's living nightmare!…read more Thinking of getting work done here? Don't. Just pulling into their parking lot is a death sentence for your tires. A few weeks ago, I made the colossal mistake of letting these clowns mount and balance two tires for me. Within weeks, I'm stuck with a slow leak. Shocking, right? Not for this dump. It's close to home, so I rolled the dice today and stopped by for some air. Big surprise: I found a screw lodged in my tire. A tire shop that gives you a puncture--how's that for irony? Then it got worse. I dropped my valve stem cap, and while fumbling for it, I discovered their parking lot is a literal junkyard of tire-killing treasures: nails, screws, you name it. It's like they're hosting a puncture party out there. I asked about a plug job, and they had the audacity to quote me $50 for something a toddler could do with a kit from the dollar store. Extortion, plain and simple. Good thing I brought my own fix--it's the only way to survive this rip-off joint. But while I'm down there plugging my tire, I find more nails and screws scattered around like confetti. This isn't a parking lot; it's a war zone designed to shred your tires and drain your wallet. I scooped up the evidence and marched it inside, thinking maybe--just maybe--they'd pretend to care. Nope. They shrugged it off like I was showing them yesterday's trash. Before escaping, I checked my exit path to avoid more tire carnage, and guess what? Another pile of rusty screws and nails waiting to ambush me. It's like they've rigged the place to keep you coming back--or limping away. Let's not kid ourselves--this isn't some "oops" moment. A tire shop with a parking lot that looks like a nail factory exploded? That's no accident. It's a slimy, calculated scam to force you into buying new tires or shelling out for overpriced repairs. These people aren't running a business; they're running a con. For the love of your car, your sanity, and your bank account, DO NOT set foot near this cesspool. I wanted a backup camera and heated leather interior. I went with this place because they said they had 3 level seat heaters. I was not provided a written estimate, it was on the phone. When my order was placed - I was not provided a copy or any documentation of my order. I selected graphite grey and blue leather, 3 level heat, and a backup camera. During my order i noticed the rep enter the wrong year model. When I corrected him, he said it's the same fitment and didn't change it. The first time I left my vehicle, the leather didn't fit. The second time I left my vehicle they failed to put in the heat. The leather looked good but was black/ blue when I ordered graphite grey/ blue. The third time I left my vehicle, they installed 2 level heat. I escalated my issues to management and they refused to reimburse me any of the $2,200 I paid. I don't believe they're investigating my case nor do they care.

Things like checking a battery is $150 where this is free at all auto parts places. $100's of dollars to run an obd diagnostic which is also free at any auto parts place. AAA towing service insisted my elderly parents bring their car here 20+ miles away rather than dropping off at our local garage that we trust and has serviced our vehicle many times. Basically a battery swap just cost my elderly parents on a fixed income over $1000. Not cool and I highly recommend any other place.

As Hurricane Helene evacuees, the last thing I needed was a car repair and giant service bill, but these guys took awesome care of me, performed a whole car inspection, and made sure my son &' I were safe on the road. I didn't have to ask for tires to be air pressure equalized. I am switching to AAA Complete Car care when I get home. Sure you can use the standalone mechanics, but you aren't going to get complete care and records in proper order. Then you could go to the discount tire people for your tires and save a bit of money. Or you can pay a fortune at a dealership to get the same service as AAA. I feel like AAA is the smart choice for me, because they keep up with what is due when, so I don't have to schedule it on my calendar per my owners manual. I'm a fan, surprisingly!
