They destroyed my car! After it been in their shop for TWO WEEKS, I went to pick it up. They said it was all fixed except for a sensor light and just to bring it back on Monday. Well, NOTHING was fixed when I drove the car home. So I took it back on Monday, and they kept it another whole week -- so now THREE WEEKS without a car. When my husband picked it up, they said something was wrong with the electrical system but they couldn't repair the electrical system (which was fine when we took the car to them in the first place!!!). So we drove to the Mazda dealership and learned that Tire Doctor damaged the axels, which they were supposed to fix, totally messed up the electrical system, and basically destroyed the car. The dealership wants $4800 to repair all the damage. Tire Doctor doesn't want to give us a refund, and has stopped returning our calls. We are contesting the $2100 charge with the credit card company and trying to decide if we want to take further action. Avoid them unless you want your car destroyed! TOTAL DISASTER! read more

Great service. They find real problems and fix problems. No "jacking around". Appointment not req. FCFS for tire repair service. Drove in, explained had slow air leak in front passenger tire. Immediately told to pull to service area where 2 guys began work analyzing problem causing air leak. Within 10 mins, they found / removed small nail in tire and performed plug repair. Out the door with minimal charge for diagnostic and repair in total of 15 mins. Will definitely go back for future services and recommend for others. read more

Tire Doctor will not give estimates on the phone for a regular tune up although make & model of car was provided. Bad deal.

Tire Doctor is not fancy but they are honest. I always get tires here, inspections and never worry about being taken advantage of. Very interesting and knowledgeable. Always willing to send you in the right direction if beyond their scope. Lucky to have this shop nearby. read more

New owners. Tire Doctor had to cancel our appointment because the new owner put his car on the lift in the bay reserved for my repairs and left their car there unassembled and unable to be moved. We've done business with this shop for decades, our kid actually worked with former owner's kid. To treat long term customers like this is unacceptable. If the new owner wants to retain customers and continue to grow, they need to put customers first and keep appointments instead of using the business for a personal shop. I heard a strange noise coming from my tire while driving to work. While contemplating what to do, I saw this place and quickly pulled in. It was about 12:05 and the sign said they closed at 12:00 on Saturdays. As I was about to back out, a man who told me his name was Dion came out and told me he would help me. He pulled the nail out, patched it and then went around and aired up all of my tires. He didn't charge me a thing. Stopped in to get alignment on wheels after a rotation incorporating the spare on the back,; gonna get my $$$'s worth out these 33z,They were busy as heck so asked if I could come back in about an hour and half and they would take care of me. Did so, and they did just that. Got the FJaaaaa rolling tight as a top! In n out in under an hour, even in this August heat, the tech thAt did my alignment was thorough and efficient, moving right along today..... Waiting room is not that big, but you won't be there long enough for it to cramp your style. Even gotta few laughs outta me from the fellas before leaving out the small A/C cooled waiting area!!real down to earth folks and "bout their business", like I like. Anyone that knows me, knows I don't enjoy Monday's, but this scheduled maintenance on my least favorite day made a bit better. Thanks to the guys at Tire Dr. My ride is rolling and I'm happy. The most honest and skillful autoshop I had visited in my life. I have been in charlotte area for 5 years and been a loyal customer of tire doctor since then. The business is a family owned. You can save 50% of the cost in their shop v.s. tire kingdoms etc. And get way better service. I remember once I went to the shop as my battery died. Nigel told me everything about battery diagnose and I was surprised that my repurchase inspectors had absolutely no clue about the issue. For me, I would rather drive 30 mins to tire doctor to get any auto problems I have. read more
