I took my car in for brakes, my good friend was helping me pay and asked me to take it here to his good friend. My car never drove the same since then I'm the only owner of this car and never a problem.. I don't think they did the brakes right for one.. I can tell when I step on them something wrong. So I have to have them redon. To make it worse I'm getting new tires somewhere else and they couldn't get my wheels off!!! Tire Empire stripped out almost all my lug nuts and also tried to add llug nuts on that didn't even fit and they must of hammered them on!!!' One trip there and they ruined my car and it's gonna cost me money I don't to fix what the messed up!! I already had to buy new lug nuts!!! God please don't take your car here.. Do not take your car for work here. They installed an icon suspension on my truck. I started to hear rattling. After looking I found nut missing on the passenger side top control arm & bolt almost out to the point to it falling out, loose nut on the other driver side top control arm. Took it back to get fixed. I still had some weird small rattle when going over bumps & alinement was not right. This time they were upset & just kept saying that my truck was custom & I had to deal with this. After going back & forth they put it on the rack to do alinement again. I went under my truck to look at things up close & noticed where the small rattle was coming from, now 2 missing bolts on the rear break line retainer clips. After they finished with the alinement they said this is to icon specs & when I drove off the car drove like shit, pulls to the right bad. read more

Used Tire Empire Twice and twice been disappointed. My bad for returning to them. First time I had Alignment done with in 3 months had to replace tires do to wearing on inside not real sure if alignment was ever done because I left truck, and they called said truck was ready to pick up. Second time I had tire rotation done on a Saturday. Waited for truck to be done. Got home and later went out to wash and notice front right tire beauty ring was ZIP TIED onto wheel because the clips had been broken. (Closed @ 2) REALLY the could have just handed me the beauty ring and said broken clips. Called Tyler on Monday morning he apologized but did nothing about it. I think complaint went in one ear and out the other. Beauty Ring cost me $98.00 Never Again! I'm Done. read more

I didn't have an appointment, but needed a flat fixed. Even though the local Lexus dealership said to bring my car in, Tire Empire was closer so I took a chance that they could help me. Within 20 minutes, I was in and out. The tech who made the repair covered my seat and floor mats with plastic and paper before he drove my car into their garage. The waiting area is clean as well as the restroom. This was not my first visit to this business. In the past, my husband and I have had brake work done there and have purchased tires for several of our vehicles. Buyer Beware! My father in law took his van into this place to patch up a tire with a nail in it. They tell him it will take about 30 minutes to complete the job. He leaves to get a snack, and when he comes back he finds his van is immobilized because one of the techs broke his key and in doing so also ruined the ignition lock cylinder. My in law happened to have a spare, but now the ignition lock would not advance position to start the vehicle (the steering wheel could still be unlocked). I go over to help out my father in law see if we can get the van started. The guy (Eric, I think was his name) claimed that something within the STEERING COLUMN snapped and that it's not his fault that it broke at that time. I knew this was BS because the front wheels still turned fine, and also something broken in the steering column would not affect the ability to start a car. So anyway, this Eric guy finally agrees to pay for the broken key and the ignition lock. After using AAA to tow the van to the Dodge Dealer (who turned us away), he used AAA to tow it back to his place. A local mechanic fixed the problem, but my father in law still had to replace the key. Replacing and programming the key at Dodge was another $200. So when my father in-law called Eric back to seek reimbursement for the problem that HIS SHOP created, Eric didn't mince words and said in no uncertain terms that he doesn't give a damn and is not paying any **cking money. Tire Empire has since been reported to BBB. SO if you take your vehicle here and one of the techs breaks something, you can expect to be dealing with a headache and unsympathetic a-hole who will say whatever to get you out of the shop and not honor his word. Go down to Big Brand Tire down the block, I've never had issues there. read more

I took my van in for a simple break pad replacement and new tires. Initial service was quick and the price was reasonable, but AS soon as I drove it off the lot the car started shaking when I used the breaks. I called them to let them know there was an issue, and the guy who answered was beyond rude and started telling me that that was happening because the front breaks must need replaced and I only am noticing it because my break pads in the rear got replaced. I knew that was not correct, as there was NO shaking or hesitation in the breaks before I took it in. I got a second opinion at another shop, who informed me that the rear pads and rotors needed to be replaced and were warped. I asked how that could be since tire empire had just done the break job on the rear tires. They suggested I take it back to get it repaired, because there was no way that I could have done this in two days to my van. I called tire empire back and although rude, they did say I could bring it back and they would fix it. I got there the next day and the man in the front told me that he didn't want me to think that 'this would fix all of my problems' and that he wasn't sure that there was anything wrong, but he'd fix it. I picked it up and he bluntly gave me my car back without any type of documentation. To be fair, the problem seems to be resolved, but I will avoid this place at ALL costs. Breaks are not something that should be messed with, and a mechanic worth his salt would ensure the job was correct before giving a minivan back to a mom of four kids. #stopgaslightingwomenatcarshops read more

If there was an option for NO stars I would have chosen it. Took the truck in for an alignment. Three months later the insides of both front tires were wearing off. Brought it back and the guy couldn't care less. He wanted another $60 to check the alignment that his guys did wrong in the first place!!!. My brother has an 87 camaro 6cyl 2.8 that has been blowing exhaust into the drivers compartment for months, running bad and having decreasing gas mileage. Six different mechanics in Newhall where he lives could not figure out the problem - we left it with Tire Empire for a few hours to be checked out and they determined that when the catalitic converter had failed and been changed a few years ago, all the debris had blown into the muffler and was restricting air flow. They refered us out for a muffler replacement (since they don't change mufflers) and after having a new high-performance muffler put on the car it runs like a dream, all the power is back and the fumes are gone. It is hard to find a shop that does quality work for a reasonable price, will go the extra mile and not take advantage of your complete lack of car knowledge. I came in to get a flat tire fixed if it was possible and if not to buy a new tire (it was close to the edge of the tread and wasn't sure it would be repairable). They pulled my car in, looked at it and said I would need to buy a new tire. He asked how old the truck was (2006) and said because the tires were 9 years old it would need to be replaced. I said I had replaced all the tires in 2010 and replaced 2 of them again in 2012...did it need to be replaced because the tire was bad or because the hole wasn't in the tread, I also asked about the condition of the other tires to see if I needed to replace more than one tire. Rather than answer me, Eric who was at the desk said "I'm not going to argue or accuse you of lying, but those are 2006 tires. You can take it somewhere else. Get out." So I plan to do just that. I came here on the personal recommendation of the owner Lynn, but I think either me being female or Eric's bad day made this a terrible experience and means I won't be coming back again for any service personal, or company truck related. read more

Tire Empire is the place to go! Owner is super honest and will help you make the right choices. Car is a year old and had a tire blow out. Called Toyota and they wanted to sell me the a $360 tire. Took it in to TE and he told me how the auto industry screws you by knowing if you have only one tire blow out your forced to purchase this ridiculous priced replacement. So instead sold me two tires made by Toyo. So for the same price as one I got two new tires! read more

I used Tire Empire for the first time I believe about 3 years ago. They put a new set of Eagle GT F1 Supercar EMT tires on my CTS-V and did a 4 wheel alignment. The service was outstanding, competitively priced, and quick. Tyler and his staff were very helpful and professional. Since then I have referred them to many of my fiends and acquaintances over the years and every one of them was extremely satisfied. Since the beginning I have had 3 more sets of tires for the CTS-V (I get about 11,000 miles out of a set, very soft rubber), including the most recent set of Continental Extreme Contact DWS's. What was cool about this experience is Tyler spent the time to go over many different tires with me, we checked out reviews and road tests, he even had a set brought in so I could see the tread patterns.
