I've been here a number of times and my needs are always very specific. I have chrome wheels and they CONSTANTLY leak air. So periodically I have to have them repaired. I need to replace the wheels but until I do so this is the deal. I am always treated really nicely here. These guys are kinda quiet but that's alright. They always do good work. Called before making the trek out here. Was going to sell OEM snow tire/rims from a car caught up in dieselgate. Got a ballpark estimate on the phone, and the guys name. When I arrived asked for the guy by name and reminded him of our conversation. He saw the tires as described and asked how much I wanted for them. I suggested the amount he estimated, he laughed and walked away. Other places offered more but couldn't take them them right away as it wasn't winter season yet. I waited, and did much better. I showed up without notice to have a flat tire taken care of. I had been putting the task off for weeks since the reputed tire center nearest to me appeared to have a wait period longer than a month and boasted of a line of 20 cars that showed up for walk-ins at 7:45 every morning. After waiting for long enough without my car, I showed up at Tire House on a Wednesday morning and the gentleman at the desk asked me only one question: what tire was flat? Directed me to park on the lift and found a nail on my tire and patched it within 5 minutes. Charged me a fair fee. I had misplaced my wallet and started worrying how I'd pay but quickly figured out that he was equipped with contactless pay by phone. A few minutes later, I found my wallet under the passenger seat and drove off happy to have taken care of the flat tire I had been putting off getting looked at for longer than I am ready to admit. Very dishonest. Very disappointed. I came to this shop because I heard good things about them on yelp. I had one tire worn out when I ignorantly drove an extra mile back home after my tire got flat. The guy in tire house explained to me that he cannot fix it, which sounds reasonable to me. But then he told me it's almost impossible to get only one new tire installed and I have to replace all my 4 tires at $500+. Later today, I called my original dealer in shoreline, and they said I can just buy one tire and install just that one, which is only $190. Very disappointed at his dishonesty. Disappointed! I went to this shop about a month ago after driving by and seeing their signs about financing. I got there JUST after they closed, but they looked at my tires and said they'd just had a really good set (he said at least 70% tread) come in and if I came back the next day, they'd give me a deal on them. I came back the next day on my lunch. The manager remembered me, took me back, and showed me the tires. I'm no tire expert, but he seemed honest and like he knew what he was talking about so I went with it. They put the tires on quickly. Up to this point, there was no mention of the cost, but he'd quoted me the evening before and said he remembered me so I didn't worry about it. When we went inside to pay, he quoted me $50 more than he had the night before. We went back and forth for a minute, then he went outside and chatted with another guy who I assumed was the owner. He came back in and said he could honor the original price, plus tax. I agreed and paid. I even got a quote for new tires for my other vehicle and left with that info in-hand. Fast forward to this week, about a month later. One of the tires was flat about a week ago, so my wife and I put some air in it. Three days later, same thing. Another three days the same again. Today I took it to Les Schwab to have it looked at. It turns out there was a nail it it causing the flat, and they were able to fix it no biggie. Up until this point, I'm really happy with my experience with Tire House and the deal gave me. Here's where it changed. The guy at Les Schwab asked me why there's tires on my car that are older than the car. My car is a 2006, and it turns out those "70% tread" tires I just bought were manufactured in 2000. He gave me a lesson on how to tell when your tires were made, and told me that after about 7 years or so tires are on their way out, even if they've never been used, because the rubber is breaking down. He also showed me the tread on the tires, and how it measured. Definitely not at 70%. In fact, they measure in just above the "safety hazard" section of his measuring device. While I have had the tires for a month, I certainly haven't driven far enough to wear out ALL of the treat on a set of tires that was supposedly almost new when I bought them. I haven't driven across the country, or the state. I've driven to and from work. They have signs in the office that they offer no warranty, and they don't give any receipt aside from the credit card receipt showing what they charged you. Because of that, I haven't even bothered to call them about this. I know I'm not getting anything back from them, but they definitely screwed me. read more

One Word: WOW! There are not many honest car services merchants out there these days but Tire House is one of them! I went to these guys recently on a recommendation from my mechanic because of a potential alignment issue with my vehicle. Prior to coming here, I stopped at Discount Tire in Bellevue to have them look at my tires and their diagnostic was; I needed to cough up "$1000.00" to replace all 4 tires on my vehicle despite having another 3-4K miles on the current tires, because supposedly my alignment was off and my tires were uneven to drive on. "Zaid" at Tire House did the same diagnostic check, rebalanced my tires, told me to drive it around town, on the freeways, etc and to come back in 3-4K miles. Total Costs: $12.00 I am so tired of these shitty merchants that are out to empty your wallet rather than perhaps look at it from a longevity viewpoint where; if they save you money, gain your trust, you might return and be a customer for life, not to mention even broadcast their loyalty & honesty to friends and families........ I blew one of MY tires, two blocks away. They were a great help! They got the new tires on quick! Woke up this morning to a flat tire... while I was waiting for AA to come change the tire and put on the spare I called Tire House LLC and asked if they had a used tire for me. The gentleman checked, came back and told me he had the tire that I needed for $40 - not too bad, since I've paid more at other places in the area (Greenwood / Seattle, 98103). I told him that's great, I will be there as soon as I can. After AAA came and put on my spare/ donut I immediately headed over to Tire House LLC, since it is close to my home. When I arrived he had my replacement tire for me in a jiffy. Upon closer inspection it turned out the flat had a nail in it, so he offered/ asked me if I'd rather just fix it instead - score! While he was plugging the tire I looked around for a replacement hubcap and found an exact match for my old Honda - he cheerfully put that on the car as well. After all the work was finished I asked him how much I owed him. His response - $20!! ($15 to fix the tire and $5 for a replacement hubcap). I gave him the cash, plus a little extra for such quick, efficient and friendly service. Bottom Line: If you need a quick tire repair and you're not looking to spend a ton of money, I would say Tire House LLC is the place to go. It's located conveniently on Aurora Ave between 80th and 81st, on the west side of the street. Next time I have any tire related issues this is definitely the place I'll be heading to. read more

We needed tires for our car and these guys got us in and out in less than an hour on a Saturday afternoon with 3 tires- for $135! Our car drives better- no more shaky steering wheel- our gas mileage has improved and we feel safer knowing our tires are not about to die on us at any moment. When I find a place for car repairs that I can trust, I stick with them. Money isn't so much the issue as much as it is honesty and trust. I called and spoke to the nice woman on the phone about the wobble my car had when driving, fearing the worst after all of the research I did on the internet. I came in, and the super nice woman was honest and gave me exactly what I needed. It turned out to just be a warped tire, and I walked away with a smooth ride after only 43.00. She even gave me some air caps because my front tires were missing some! I know exactly where I will be going for tire/wheel repairs from now on! Update! After Tire House refused to work on my car and I went elsewhere I thought that I would have no more problems. If only! Well when they last DID work on my car and removed the summer tires, I asked them about a leak in one of those tires. No problem says they...we can patch it. Great I say! So the summer tires come off, the winter tires go on, they patch the summer tire and I assume all is well with the world. Fast forward to today. Well we already knew they decided they couldn't work on our car (and denied they ever had worked on it in the past), but when we went back to another tire shop to have the summer tires put on things got worse. Other tire shop calls up..."We're sorry to tell you this, but this repair on this tire isn't considered safe...we can't put this tire on your car." What. That's gotta be a mistake. Why would someone patch a tire in a way that makes the tire untouchable by tire shops? I call another tire shop and tell them what's going on. Would you put this tire on if I show up? Nope. No, we wouldn't. Another call...same answer. I ask the tire folks, so, could this have been repaired in a way that the tire wouldn't be useless? "Oh sure, but it would have to be repaired that way the first time. Now there's nothing we can do." Great. I have a tire with less than 10k miles on it that, thanks to Tire House, no one in Seattle will touch. Now I'm out $300 to get a new tire. Even if Tire House WOULD agree to work on our car, I wouldn't ever go back. read more

I have been in this business twice before, to have tires swapped out that I brought in myself, but this time I needed to purchase an affordable pair of used tires for my minivan. When I arrived little bit before 9am, the gentleman was cleaning the shop, but was able to get to helping me right away and found a pair of exactly what I needed. $100 for two Goodyears with 75% tread, including mounting, balance and disposal of the old. As I was in the parking lot making a decision, I googled a different place. I called Tire House and he quoted me 185 over the phone. I was there at 11:45 and out by 12:45! This is a small tire shop, and without a big corporate name, it's hard to know what one will get when approaching such a shop. I went there after Les Schwab quoted me over 300$ for 2 new tires, they indicated I needed only 1 new tire, but they "sell them in 2's", so I would have both of my back tires replaced. Tire House was able to find me a used tire for 35$ that had tons of tread left, and a total of 45$ with labor! That's a 255$ savings folks.. and then here's the best part of the story, the Tire House employee began to take the old tire off and said, "you don't a new tire", and showed me that part of the tire was worn because I didn't rotate them until recently, but now that it was on the back of my car it would be fine for a good while. Now.. that's a 300$ savings folks. This place is an ace. read more
