**Unacceptable Service Experience at Tire Kingdom - Brandon, FL** I recently took my daughter's 2018 BMW X1 to Tire Kingdom in 1527 E Brandon Blvd Brandon, FL, for a battery replacement and alternator check. We were assured that the staff knew how to reset the programming after the battery installation. However, after paying over $421 for the service, my daughter received her car back with all the dashboard lights on. We were told these lights were merely "recommendations" for things like low fluids, oil change, and check engine --all of which were untrue. To make matters worse, a mechanic at the shop rudely commented, "If you can't afford the car, why are you driving it?" This was highly unprofessional. Afterward, we took the car to another mechanic, who reset the programming properly, and all the lights went off immediately. I contacted the Tire Kingdom service manager, and while they offered a $56 compensation, I don't feel this is fair. We should be compensated the entire installation fee since they failed to deliver the service as promised and we had to endure the cost of another diagnostic fee to reset the programming. I expect Tire Kingdom to take full responsibility and offer a proper resolution. Bought tires here a little over a year ago for our car and suppose to be 50,000 mile warranty per our records that we had and in their system but I'm not sure how that works. All I know is we were not given a discount or proration as my vehicle was new and didn't have 50,000 miles on it. Customer service here is a hit or miss. Spoke with someone who quoted me price over the phone but when I came in they said it was the call center and they have no record of it. I believe they recently changed management. This place is AMAZING!! I have two 2020 Honda's and about a year ago one of them needed tires, so after doing my due diligence on tire quality research and pricing I found this location to be the most reasonable, so without a hitch or any flaws and very little waiting time this location had me up and running on 4 brand new Michelins within an hour. Moving forward to a year later the same car got a nail in the tire, so after calling around to see who could put a patch on it within the most reasonable time (some places I called said I had to drop the tire off or wait over an hour just for then to put a patch on it) this sane Tire Kingdom location (in Brandon) told me to bring it right in (which I did) and within 15 minutes, not only was I up and rolling again, but they didn't even charge me to fix it, which I was totally surprised by and greatly appreciated for them doing so. So in returning my satisfaction I promised that in the near future when my other Honda needs new tires (which it will need during my next oil change) I told them I will definitely be bringing my car to their location again (for the 3rd time) because of the great service, courtesy and satisfaction they've provided me on my two separate occasions. I have bought road hazard for my four tires took it in to be rotated and now it jumps and it pulls to the right, and never did that before. It is questionable if they're not making business for themselves like I said it is questionable. I will never take my car there again or buy a tire there again even if I have to pay more. When I called the guy that I answered, I am anonymously with holding his name, did not see if it was right and immediately blamed it on the tires. 1 because there are no 0 - I went to change four tires and a wheel alignment.I experienced the vehicle slightly swerving and the steering shaking which wasn't happening before I had the wheel changed and a wheel alignment for several hundred dollars. I had the unfortunate to meet with Ryan, the front desk customer service man that others have complaint about on Yelp, gave me a bad attitude from the beginning and excuses that it was the back break and front breaks before test driving the vehicle. Which, btw, they checked my breaks and balance when they installed the tires and didn't say anything but now when I take it back - it's a "new" problem and it wasn't due to the work that they did to my vehicle. Ryan and I exchanged unpleasant words and he belittled me by indicating that I was upset because as per Ryan I have "short man syndrome," he even threw the business card at me with a Tim phone# when I asked for the owner's information and he kept his hand inside his shirt, covered his hand, and on his belt for some reason(s) while walking back and forth between the front desk and his office while he was upset. Hit some unseen object in the road traveling east bound on 60. In only about 5 minutes my low pressure tire warning light came on. Stopped at Firestone on 60 where we have had work done in the past. After two techs and the manager looked at it I got the " oh, That can't be fixed-you'll need a new tire" response. Fortunately for us they don't stock Hankook tires and referred me up the road to Tire Kingdom. When I arrived and the manager took a look at my tire which was already off the vehicle in the truck-she said-"oh, we can fix that"! In less than 15 minutes my tire was patched air tested and back on the car! Here's the kicker...NO Charge! Gave the super nice technician a tip and a hearty thank you! Holy cow-Couldn't have had a better experience! Just when you thought there weren't any more businesses left whose sole purpose is to separate you from your wallet. Go Tire Kingdom! read more

If I could make it a zero..I would. The man at the counter, was rude and acted like they didn't want to help my mother in law. He treated her like an inconvenience. Not an ounce of compassion. Like she wants your company to get her the tire and put it on.. even tho they didn't mention the cost of the tires..tho she is willing to pay. The man was impatient, did an "ugh" when she said she wanted the new tire even if she had to wait a week for it to come in... like I'm sorry you hate your job but if you hate your job that much where you will be that way to a long existing customer.. you should probably find a new job. Please let me begin with my multiple previous expirences with other locations had me on edge for getting my tire checked out at this location. I figured with the Covid-19 virus in current effect that would line up with digging deep into my pocket. BUT TO MY SURPRISE, Tech Jose was awesome, friendly, and understanding. He had me in and out within 15 minutes and back on the road. I highly recommend that even if you have a bad taste from other locations, you give this one a chance. I wish I can give zero rating. I am a hard working mom who rely on her car for work. I drive Honda Pilot and notice VSA triangle light next to engine light come on in my car 3 weeks ago. I stop by that place and they reassure me it could be a sensor issue and it would get fixed: I first dealt with Bryan who quoted me a price close to 1500 to fix the car. I thought it was expensive and agree to fix it since I was getting paid on Friday and needed my car. He kept the car for 2'days and I went to get it Saturday weekend of Father's Day. As soon as I drive the car, within 3 minutes, the same issue and the VSA light come on with the same car issue. I called him right away and he told me I could come back to drop off the car. I drop off the car the following Monday and they swear that when they drive it,'they do not notice any issue. I am not crazy to make this up and who wants to run to car shop every time. My son always with me both time and he says mommy the car is making the same issue. I though you said it was fixed. I drop the car again Wednesday of last week since the manager told me she would look at it. They called me Friday to pick it up because the mechanic drives it and see nothing wrong with it: To date, my car is not fixed. Imagine paying 1500.00 to a Mechanic and your car is not fixed: They could offer to give me half of what I pay them since the car is not fixed. They give me different excuses that it could be due to timing belt need to be change or each time is could be due to something else. I feel like they just parked the car in their lot both time I bring it back and nothing more was done to it I do not encourage anyone to invest big money in that place other than getting an oil change. Took over two hours to replace two rear tires. Shop was not busy and they pulled our car right in. Staff was friendly and shop was clean with the exception of the disgusting filthy women's restroom. They have free WiFi but my Verizon is much faster so I didn't use theirs. They have a coffee/ tea maker, but I had stopped at the Starbucks next door beforehand. I wouldn't go back as they took entirely too long and never offered a reason why or let us know it was going to be so long. read more

When I got there, I was told they could put air in it, but that's all they could do because they had a guy stripping the floors. Seriously? They will get you in and out fast because they don't do their job correct. I went in for an oil change, fluids, and tire rotation. I had an appointment on May 3rd at your store in Brandon Fl. I had called and ordered my tires (4) and was ready for the installation. Of course, when I get there Paul I believe that was his name (was very nice). He tried to sell me the lifetime alignment but I chose just the one time alignment. My tread was very bad almost balled on half of the tire however I could not see this beach use it was on the inside. I went to a restaraunt nearby instead of waiting in lobby. I received a call from Paul stating my ball joints were bad and needed those replaced. The ball joints was an extra couple hundred dollars. I told Paul to just apply the new tires. I will take the car to my mechanic and cancel the alignment, since if I need to get the ball sockets replaced I would need another alignment. When I returned to store he brought me to the back to show me the ball joints. Then said, " he would give me half off alignment for 1 yr and I could bring it back anytime for alignment. After they did my alignment they said it was really off and thats why my tread was so worn unevenly. Toe -0.23, 0.13, total toe -0.36 Afterward, I took SUV to Toyota and they said nothing was wrong with my ball joints. In fact the mechanic and manager said they have never replaced them in the time they have worked with Toyota for my SUV. I feel like I was trying to be screwed over. I don't appreciate it. I will Never get tires from Tire Kingdom. I will only go there for my lifetime rotation and any alignment for the life of these tires. read more
