Tech said by rear brake pads were down to 2mm and had to be replaced immediately. Helpfully they have a "deal" on brakes, so they could replace it. They were very disappointed when I said no. Next day I took the car to the Honda dealership, who told me (and put in writing) that I had 5mm left, which was plenty left to drive on. Watch out for this type of scam. read more

I was just charged $37.92 for removing a nail in my tire. My recommendation is to go somewhere else if you need such services, I was told they needed to balance the tire and an extremely time consuming process was followed to put a patch in my tire. Perhaps, my mistake since they do not have their prices set outside anywhere they can charge what they feel it is appropriate. I just wanted my nail taken out and to put a patch. I believe $37.92 is excessive, for that I can almost buy me a new tire. My recommendation is: stay away from them for such services. Certainly feel I was taken for a fool! Had an emergency: screw stuck in my tire at 10:45, and I had a meeting at 12:30. I waited in line at Sears for 20 minutes before calling TK. They said it'd be close, but they could do it. Dropped off the keys at 11:15, they called me back at 11:35, basically saving my ass in the process. They knew I was stressed and my meeting was important to me, so they pushed it through the queue to get it to me earlier. Nice. Decked a star because the final price was $15 more when I picked it up than what I was quoted on the phone, but other than that, straight A's. read more

Had a very bad experience with Tire Kingdom in Davie (Unprofessional, rude and scammers) and when you read the other reviews you will find similar write-ups....Why this store is still open is a mystery. Filed a negative review on Yelp and was contacted the next day by their supposedly CS and requested to contact them. However, to contact them you have to fill out a form or go on their Chat Service. Chat Agent Axel was useless and unable to help. Didn't do anything but refer my complaint to another Agent. All they want is your personal information and can't get past that. They are all so scripted that you are not going to get anywhere or any satisfaction. Went to Jiffy Lupe instead and got the service needed for much less. Great service at Jiffy!!! read more

I went for an oil change with an appointment; they told me one hour and after 1,2,3,4 hours nobody called me I went to the shop because nobody picked up the phone and my car was stuck cause they lost power. I didn't make a big deal, I understand things happen. On the next day, I received no phone calls from the shop. I went back and there was a guy outside and he told me that they didn't have any power. He wasn't nice and he didn't care about my situation. On the next day, NO CALLS from Tire Kingdom. I went again and the guy told me Sorry for the inconvenience here is the bill . I told him that I spent 2 days without a car, paying Uber, and he didn't care. he said it wasn't his problem or fault. You have the worst customer service and they never rotated my tires or did any of the services you offer when you do an oil change. Took my 2008 Jetta for an oil change, headlight bulb replacement and asked them to check out the AC to see why it wasn't blowing cold air. Called me and told me the AC compressor needed to be replaced for $1200. Told them absolutely not. They already did my oil change and bulb replacement. Show up to pick up my car and the bill comes out to $300! They charge a $170 diagnostic fee and labor just for looking at the AC. What a rip off. Nothing was fixed. AC still doesn't work. Didn't even. Other to turn off the bulb light on the dash. On top of it all the employee checking me out was extremely rude and looked at me like I was stupid for asking for a manger. My whole family comes here for their cars and we will not be coming back that is for sure. read more

I've always had a pleasant experience here. I've been coming here multiple times now and Chris always takes good care of me. They are honest people who don't try and take your money like some mechanics. They even gave me a free oil change one occasion when they neglected to tighten the bolt on my oil and it leaked. BUYER BEWARE!!! CROOKS! I'm a Brit and have limited knowledge of local services and businesses in Lehigh Acres, SW Florida. I needed new tires for my Pontiac, took it to Lee Blvd., Lehigh Acres Tire Kingdom. That was mistake 1. Their website said the Cooper tires I wanted are $91.99. I telephoned to make an appointment and was told, come right on in, we can do your car now. I was met by a very nice young man who promptly came out to get tire size etc. After a little tongue clucking from him I was told that yes, my tires were worn and needed replacing (I knew that, or I wouldn't have gone there), that my rotors were worn (really? They were replaced last year, and I've done less than 2000 miles), my front brake disks were shot (oh my, they were replaced less than 2000 miles ago when the rotors were replaced) and that my brake fluid would be 'burnt' and need a 'power flush' and replacement brake fluid and that I would need a replacement brake line. Also, my alignment was, apparently, 'way out' and would also need doing. Now I check my vehicle every week, without fail, and one of those checks is for 'feathering', a roughness of the edges of the tires, due to incorrect alignment, where they have contact with the pavement surface and there was absolutely no feathering. Now I'm not a mechanic nor am I a tire fitter but I am reasonably intelligent, a very experienced driver (40+ years of driving both professionally and personally) but I would know if my vehicle was not handling correctly, if the tracking was out of alignment, if it pulled one way or the other under braking or in inclement conditions or under load. I'm also reasonably astute when it comes to being ripped off, I don't do it and I expect other businesses not to do it to me. Mistake 2 was when the guy had said all of this and I didn't pull him up instantly, but I wanted to see where this was going. Inside, he consulted his computer, added lots of things to the list and quoted me $740 and change! I was expecting nearer $200! At nearly $750 when I was expecting to pay $250 or so for 2 tires, I politely declined his offer and after some resistance from him and dire warnings about safety (scare tactics? Really?) he finally came up with $367.48 but even that seems excessive for 2 tires. Here's a breakdown... tire: $91.89, Mount and install: $7.00 One-time balance: $9.99 Balancing for the life of the tire (what?): $8.00 Road hazard warranty: $20.96. Now let me see, that's an additional $45.95 and that's PER TIRE! That's another $91.90 or another tire. Now to be fair, I did get a VIP discount (how did I get to be a VIP? I'd never been there before) of $5.00 and I putting that toward my time writing this I took my vehicle to the body shop I use for servicing / repairs and asked them to check my vehicle thoroughly for me. Now I trust these guys, they've done all my auto work since I've been here (I didn't know they did tires or I'd have gotten them to replace them), and it was booked in for a service in a week anyway. I brought it forward just in case, based on what I'd been told by Tire Kingdom. I got them, specifically, to check the brake disks, rotors, brake lines, brake fluid and steering and asked them to specifically look for any leaks of any fluids on the underside of the vehicle. After some quizzical looks from the guy at the auto shop, he asked why as I'd only just had that type of work done. I told him, his face said it all, he didn't need to say anything. Now he knew what the story was, and he could have ripped me off and said yes, Tire Kingdom was correct, and I'd have paid it without issue. Instead of that, I was charged $30.00 for the oil change, new filter and a 20 minute, 2-person inspection of what I'd asked to be checked. I'm guessing TK is a franchise and I would doubt that anybody will even read this, but it makes me feel better knowing I did my bit to warn others. I was 'given' a $10 off coupon printed on top of my invoice for my next visit. I'm laughing out loud (not quite a maniacal laugh), sitting at my keyboard because they think I'll be going back! If this was the last tire company on the planet, I would buy a new pair of stout, hard wearing walking boots! Word of mouth advertising is the best form of advertising, I know, I've been self-employed for 20+ years and all my advertising is word of mouth and I'm always busy. This place does not have the proper equipment or workers to handle your vehicle. They installed tires on my new GMC dually and ruined my aluminum rims after charging extra money for difficult installation. Said nothing until I looked at vehicle and had to go back in store to get manager. Said they would take care of damage and still having to get them to fix my rims. I've gone there twice out of necessity, but I will never be back. I'd rather ruin my car than spend another dime their. Their time estimates are out of wack, they told me around an hour both times, the first I waited 4, the second almost 6. They will tell you that you need things that you don't. Both times I was told I needed new break pads, I don't, they were almost new the first time and fine the second. I had my general mechanic check them after my last and he said they're still fine. They generally use scare tactics and tell you that your car is worse than it actually is to get you to agree to more service. The guys at the front seem to not have an understanding of the paperwork they're having you sign, I had to ask a direct question multiple times before making the man read it back to me before he gave me the actual answer for what the charge was. It was a service fee, which is all well and good, just confusing when he told me about three time that there wasn't one while I was starring at it. He was then confused why I was asking about the service fee he said didn't exist. All in all an unenjoyable experience. read more

It was a middle of three day weekend, almost 18:00, having a flat tire on the I75 (and the car dealer sold me wheel lock without the key), and nothing was open in Weston or Davie area, Tire Kingdom was there for me. A pleasant guy on the phone, despite long hours working in the garage, hooked me up with a new tire and even gave me a coupon to use. Since we couldn't find the wheel lock he had to cut them, which became overnight job. Again, very professional and walked me through the steps to assured me that no harm to be done to the car. In the mean time my angry call to the dealership was answered with "hey sorry we are closing for three day weekend but call me on Tuesday and maybe we will find your lock"...that's when I called the dealership's maintenance program office and cancelled the plan. Anyways, tire kingdom is awesome, if I ever need tires or battery or general maintenance I will use them again. read more

We stopped going to this location because of previous management. However, I was confident that I had a tire(s) out of balance.... I decided to go back because it was close & I considered it to be a simple process so I figured my past experiences there should not keep me from convenience for something so simple/routine (i.e. don't cut your nose to spite your face so to speak).... I am glad I went there.... Under new Management (since I was there last).... The person who helped me was Curt and he was phenomenal.... He truly cared about my safety, my satisfaction & my thoughts of this location and all other Tire Kingdoms... He took care of the balancing and rotation of my tires and made me a happy customer....Because of this service, we are looking to possibly get new tires for my husbands van there in the coming weeks, which we would have never have even considered them before due to previous experiences.... The regional Manager Francisco Aneou asked me to come in so he could see the damage and then was not there during the times he said he would be so they wasted my time on top of damaging my car. CONSUMER BEWARE! Tire Kingdom 13760 W. St. Rd. 84 in Davie. Daughter takes car for an oil change. 2 hours later they tell her they won't change the oil because there is no reading on the dipstick. They told my daughter they topped off the oil in her car, no charge," that's our customer service".. We drove it home and checked. No oil reading. Car sat overnight, checked again this morning, no oil reading. Added 2 quarts of oil, and MAGICALLY there's a reading! Call the Mgr. he says, "bring it in and let me look at it, I'll make it all good". Yeah right.. Called and filed a formal complaint with Corporate. Do NOT use the St. Rd. 84 location if you value your vehicle. Manager claims he wasn't there when this occured, wanted to make things right. Possibly burning up an engine isn't doing thins right. I can walk to this store in 5 minutes, less than a 1/2 mile. I drove 15 miles to a trusted business for the oil change. Will never, EVER, do business with this location again. 25 year history of this con-artist behavior. read more

"And on this day, nor any other day, not a single f**k was given." They overcharged me $20 when I went in to replace one of my tires that had bubbled. When I explained the overcharge they then told me that they had just been "audited" and were unable to give refunds...huh?...When I questioned their policy and credibility they gave me a handful of coupons for discounted oil changes. The car was returned to me with what looked like smear marks from half-dozen, grease-dipped wild monkeys all over it. Begrudingly, an employee was dipatched to remove the smears but as you might guess did an poor job. Oh well, at least the tire was changed, right? So I thought, until I tried driving it on the high-way the next day and realized that they CHANGED THE WRONG TIRE!!!!!!!!!!! Instead,they replaced the good driver's-side tire. I was nearly killed on 595-E trying to manage the steering with a split tire. So if I slowed anyone down driving 30 with my hazards on I suggest you go to this location and express your irritation.
