The staff fixed the flat quickly, I paid the $20 and off I went. On my way home, I called my husband to let him know and he had me take it to Cañero Tire Corporation to have it checked since we were planning a long road trip. Upon arrival, Tony, the owner, took one look at the tire and the pictures I took of the bolted nut that was removed, and advised me to replace the tire. He explained that the puncture had damaged the metal threads in the tire and it wouldn't be long before it ate through the newly applied patch. So I requested the replacement. When the tire was removed, Tony called me over to show me. When he lifted the freshly applied patch, the exposed metal looked jagged and sharp and had already imprinted in the patch. I learned two lessons that day: 1. You get what you pay for 2. Choose quality always 3. Only go to businesses you trust I highly recommend Cañero Tire Corp. I went there too but my daughter's car tire had a hole on the side and that "magical" place told me I needed a new tire. It was a new tire so I said no and drove on and found Gasparino Tires. They fixed the hole on the side and didn't promise it would hold out but did their best. The tire held out fine, no problems and I didn't have to buy a new tire. That was years ago, have been coming here ever since. If you really want to save money buy new tires at Walmart and bring them here to be installed and balanced. Walmart does it for free but you have to spend all day waiting. Here it's 15 to 20 per tire depending on the size of your rim and they do it fast and great. I highly recommend them, they do great work and have fair prices.
