I come here for all my car services and always satisfied with the work and service. I went in today very frazzled because something came off my under carriage and didn't know where to turn to. Was greeted by Chris who assured me they will look at it and come up with a solution. i kept asking many questions, and all were answered so I could understand the situation. Made an appointment for two front tires and an alignment. MADE AN APPOINTMENT SO THEY KNEW EXACTLY WHY I CAME HERE. Was told it would take an hour and a half to complete. After two hours, I ask for an update. Come to find out the tires had just arrived no one said anything. So now I have to wait another hour. I'm really upset. All they had to do was tell me the tires weren't here and I would have come back another day and time. Annoyed is an understatement. Disclaimer: We are tourists her in Orlando on Holiday, so we didn't have the luxury to choose who we chose to go to. We can't actually speak on the quality of service so it would not be fair to rate that. But as far as the customer service aspect this place STAY AWAY! Especially if you are a person of color! Fiance had a flat tire this morning. She needs neeew tires anyway so we just needed a patch until we were ready to buy 4 new nice tires. Called tire kingdom to make sure they patch and they said it would be $30 bucks and a 2 hour wait. Nowhere I've ever been quoted 30 bucks for a plug literally takes 3 min. When I have an issue with my car I choose Tire Kingdom. The location is convenient and the service is excellent. Towing your vehicle to the dealership is often expensive, especially if you don't have the appropriate coverage. Tire kingdom, however, is located in the middle of Doctor Phillips and if you get there early they will find time to examine your car. The prices are reasonable and the staff is great. I had the pleasure of working with Mike & Kristen my past visit. They were very informative and professional, which I truly appreciated. Overall, it is a great staff that works hard to find a solution for your vehicle. I would recommend this business to anyone. read more

Let me start off by saying I honestly don't know anything about cars. However, I can tell you that I called a few places to get a quote for the same repair and TK gave me the best price. I walked in without an appointment and they took care of me without a problem. We were greeted at the front by Nelson and Andrew, who were very friendly and willing to explain what repairs my car needed. Nelson was very attentive and on top of everything, service like this really does make a difference. My car was finished about an hour after the shop closed and he stayed the entire time and never did he complain, always with a smile on his face! I would recommend this place to anyone, I've actually been a customer of TK for a few years and they're great at what they do. read more

Go to Tires Plus on Kirkman. I went to tire kingdom first at 6 pm, 2 hours before they close. I needed two tires to replace my front tires on my fleet car. They were not busy all I heard was can we schedule later. After saying no, he walks out the door to the back, turns around and tells me his computer is down and there is no way he can do it for a fleet car today. I go to tires plus on Kirkman. They are very busy, customers coming and going and they close 45 minutes later. I hear the same concern because it's a fleet car, but the difference is they know how to service a customer and said, let's see if we can do it. They got it done with no problem and I'll be done shortly. read more

Really disappointed by my recent experience here. I brought my car in because I was due for new break pads. They took my car back to check it and came to me telling me that my car needed new break pads but in addition new breaks, and more. They gave me a price of almost $700! I went in to pick up my car because I wanted to get a second opinion and they tried to tell me my car was so unsafe they wouldn't let me take it. They said they could knock down the price to $360 to get it out "safely." They had started working on my car without my approval so to get my car back I had to wait over 45 min. I took my car to another shop and got the break pads replaced and they said everything else looked great. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TIRE KINGDOM!!!!!!! Terrible experience read more

Wish I could give this place no stars and leave my review. I spoke with Joey over the phone, he was nice over the phone and that's where it ends. I waited an hour and a half on my vehicle to get an oil change but Joey stated if I made an appointment I wouldn't have a wait because they do their appointments first. As I entered Joey spoke and as I started speaking with him about why I was there, he picked up a call and started to ignore me. It didn't end there. Once my vehicle was ready the technician brought my keys. I stood in line. Joey helped the guy in front of me and completely ignored me waiting there. So after a few minutes (maybe 2) I said can I get my keys. He then said "I didn't know your keys were here". Even if that's the case why didn't he acknowledge my presence? I won't be back even though I need to purchase tires in a few months. read more

Let me just say first that Michael Medina is the best service manager in this world.. literally, my car broke on me on the road and I was informed by my insurance to call them, they were extremely attentive and took so much care of my car. Well shame on me. Went back to the same Tire Kingdom off of Sand Lake on Turkey Lake and received the same poor service. Last time it was 4 tires in 3.5 hours. Today it was 1 tire and an alignment. Still here and approaching 3 hours. Again, shame on me! Rating is actually zero (0) stars. read more

Have been taking 3 cars here for 5 years. I feel like a good customer. 3 pairs of tires in 12 months and oil changes every couple months. I felt very comfortable going here until last weekend. I brought my 2015 SUV in because lights had come on in the dash. The guy who was behind the counter gave me a bad vibe while I was dropping the car off. So much so that I texted my husband to come in. I felt like I was getting ripped off from the get go. They have worked on and fixed all kinds of things on our cars so I tried to shake the feeling. An hour or two later he called to tell me what was wrong and that the bill would be $680.00. I was very shocked. Just out of curiosity I called the dealer and asked what they would charge. They said $00. That part had been recalled. I went to pick up my car and told them what the dealer said and they told me I had to pay them $130.00 diagnostic. He said they shouldn't have to keep up with recalls. I say, if it is tire/wheel related you damn better well be up with recalls. I don't know if their sales team has stretched them so far that now they have rip people off. Now they are the same as all the other little car places out there. Made an appointment for a oil change... There were several mechanics in the waiting area goofing off, very unprofessional while my car sat out there in the parking lot for 30 minutes. What's the point of making an appointment if you're not going to take care of A customer's car when we get there and you had available staff to work on it...not quite sure what your business practices are? Next time it's jiffy lube !!! Also I got two tires here several months ago car was supposed to be done at 3 o'clock it wasn't done until 7:30 PM. I should have known not to come back. read more

Ive bought 3 or 4 sets of tires from this location, but I wont be back. One thing I see happening more and more when I go to the store is they are really bad about upselling and gouging you on services. They also add a bunch of A la cart items to your bill that you are not told of in the estimate or that you asked for when you dropped your car off. You will also receive a phone call during the service advising you that you need additional services on your car that are not needed. read more

I went here to have my slow leaking tire looked at on my Q7 Audi. I did make an appointment as we were on vacation in Disney World. They were busy and I was told that there still may be a delay but my making an appointment would help. They took my car in and looked at it in about 45 min. I was able to see all that they did. At one time there were 4 guys looking at my tire trying to see what the problem was. Eventually they sorted out that a small sliver of random steel went in the tread area. The technical was able to patch the tire from the inside and they told me it was as good as new! When I went to pay for the service they told me that their would be no charge and they would appreciate any good reviews I would give them. So here it is! I would definitely use them for any tire needs in the future! read more

My experience is that this Tire Kingdom is just plain, old-fashioned dishonest. May be the word is "crooked". I imagine the TK culture compensates employees in a way that promotes this attitude. Feel very sorry for honestly honest people who work there. The manager of that location (initials AP) told me that I had tire separation on left rear tire. These tires had been rotated and balanced at Costco the day prior to my visit to TK. Costco does not do alignments, so ... I could not see or feel or otherwise detect any "tire separation" on the tires. But I wanted to give TK the benefit of the doubt - so I called Costco and asked if I could bring the vehicle back and have them take a look. The Costco people put vehicle back on the rack and showed me that there was no separation on the left rear tire, or any of the other tires. Very sad that TK is using such predatory tactics. ALSO, it is no wonder that so many men feel that it is foolish to allow wives, girlfriends, mothers to take vehicles in for service work. I mean, people got to earn a paycheck, just don't earn it by being dishonest about stuff that doesn't need to be replaced yet. BTW - thanks to yelp! for providing a forum where consumers can get info about various vendors and retailers and businesses. .. EDIT - a response was posted to me by TK. Please note that I already went to www.tkcustomerfirst.com and reported about my experience. Honestly, I have put more effort into reporting about this than most people have the luxury (in terms of time, etc.). So if TK really cares a tiny bit, they already have my contact info. Had tires put on 3 years ago and purchased from Andrew. Got a terrific deal that July. Purchased after signing up for their cc and purchased 3 yr alignment and balances. Have truly enjoyed getting it all for free when I needed tires rotated, balanced and aligned. I make early Friday or Thursday morning appointments due to walk ins. Its really great when you can trust your auto service shop. It was was a great experience to work with the guys at Tire Kingdom, especially after being cheated from the last place I went to. The service representative, Michael Medina, really took the time to explain everything that was going on with my vehicle. He was very knowledgeable and helped me understand the different products available and how they would perform so I could make a sound decision. After he explained about the easy financing available to me it was a wrap. The car runs great and I feel safe on the road now. In all my years I have never received better service from an auto repair shop! I owe a serious debt of gratitude to Raimund and the rest the staff who help me get my 96 Saturn back in order. They helped me prioritize the issues based on what would keep my car up and running. They were upfront about what issues were immediate and what issues had time to be addressed. Cost was a struggle for me and Raimund went above and beyond to find ways to save me money by eliminating things that were not as important and finding creative ways to accomplish the work for less money including finding corporate coupons that he could use to lower the price. He understood the goal was just to keep the car running, not optimal performance and maintenance and his recommendations reflected that. I was beyond impressed with the professionalism and they had my car back to me under 24 hours. I am so beyond pleased I will be taking my car here from now on.
