I wish I could give 0 stars for the absolute horrible customer service practices at this place. I scheduled an appointment and mistakingly put in the incorrect tire size for my 2010 Ford Explorer. The service person noticed and helped correct it. When he went to look for the correct size, which was smaller than what I initially selected, the price jumped tremendously. I decided to do some research so I went to my car, went online to the same store, and found cheaper tires on the correct size I needed. I rescheduled an appointment for a time slot 30 minutes away and went back inside. The gentleman who initially helped me came out with a coffee in hand and told me he'd help me in a minute. Being the patient person I am I decided to give him a second to recaffinate, but the other service person at the counter who was on the phone complaining about a situation from a previous customer instead of helping me continued to talk in the phone. The original gentleman told him "I must've gone online and found something better than the tires I offered him at cost". They then both continued to ignore me so I left. Anyone visiting this location, good luck because they'll try to rip you off if they have the chance. read more

Toyota dealership told me 3 of 4 tire sensor batteries were dead. Recommend replacing all 4 at a cost of $1300 including parts, labor, balance, alignment. Dallas at Tire Kingdom had a diagnostic run and said only 1 sensor was bad. Total charge $140. Clearly saved me from getting screwed by the dealership. I went in for back brakes. I was told the calipers were bad. I said I can afford $500 at the most. they said it would cost $1200. They offered very high interest payments, of course. They proceed to break a bolt in the caliper but neglect to tell me until I've been sitting there for over 4 hours. When I finally get aggravated & say this is ridiculous I'm not told sorry. I'm told well the bolt broke ke. so I literally sat there from 8:30AM to 6:30PM. for my troubles, I was given a free oil change. I won't ever go back there. read more

I brought my car here for an alignment and they wanted to charge me 145 for a Honda CR-Z which has no adjustments on rear. When I brought this up to them they offered to lower it to 95 which is still overpriced. To add to this when I was in their lobby I saw them over charging someone's grandma for simple things she didn't need. They really must not have hearts to be doing this to people. I'm writing my review here on Yelp because I want people to see the truth and I know they can't delete my comment sharing my experience. Just look at the other reviews too. So I knew there was a reason why I stopped coming to this tire kingdom but I needed a quick oil change, something that was close by. I usually go to Ford in Lake Wales, since I got my car I only get it situated there. So I made an appointment for 8am, okay cool! I was there until around 10 something being the first one in line! They asked me what kind of oil I wanted(of course I didn't know), so it was suggested to use the next one up. It was out of what I wanted to spend but Dallas threw in a $10 off coupon. So I got it, they asked if I wanted a free alignment check and a tire rotation... sure why not? So undoubtedly after they did the alignment check, it was stated that I get an alignment. I HAD TO GET TO WORK and the price for their alignment is ridiculous so I kindly declined. Seemed like Dallas got a bit of an attitude and walked away, so I wanted to see the paper that shows where the alignment needs to be fixed and he told the guy that they weren't doing the alignment so the paper was gone or something like that. I went outside to call my Dad who was paying for the services anyway, he came in to pay and then Dallas asks me if he gave me the paper. NO, cause you had an attitude about it! So I'm driving to work on the 429 and hear something under my car like my car was falling apart, when I got to work I didn't realize until I came back to the car to see the thing that protects my engine hanging from under my car. Would only recommend to people I do not like for an oil change. Man behind the desk was disrespectful and loud which in turn of course caused me to also get loud. Infront of my child over pricing. He said in the beginning there could be a possible fee if the car needed any extra oil added. The original price I agreed to was 64 bucks, not 90 dollars. He says "I signed off on it on my paperwork." Man must have some type of crystal Ball in order to make that decision before even looking at my car. Horrible service: the customer service agent lied and completely fabricated and fraudulently recommended service that I did not need. Went in for oil change and then given a list of things that needed to be done. John told me "I needed struts both front and back" I asked "what evidence is there I needed struts" and he couldn't answer me. Also I was told I needed a brake fluid flush: it was last done in 2023. He told me the total for that as well as air filter, oil change and wipers changes was $1851.86. My car gets service every three to 6 months either at a Honda dealer or another NTB. When he was told not to do the struts or break flush his response was "it is recommended based on your mileage": but there is no evidence that the struts were bad or the brake fluid was dirty. And John blatantly lied and then smirked his way out of telling me it needed to be done and didn't say "it was recommended based on the mileage" and his supervisor was saying "it is recommended but there isn't anything wrong". FRAUD CHEATERS and LIERS don't go to this shop under any circumstances. read more

Stopped here on our way home to Miami because our tire caught a nail. Very rude customer service. Told me I would have to make an appointment for 4 days from now. She boasted how they were the only tire shop in the area and she couldn't take me even on an emergency basis. We don't live here. The only other option provided was to leave it and hopefully the nail could be removed by closing, if not tomorrow. Really??? For a nail? The patch job takes 10 minutes. Obviously I chose the best option which was to leave. What a dump! The girl behind the counter shouldn't even be allowed to clean let alone interact with the public. We drove to 17-92 and there a literally 100's of repair places who treat you much better and understand the nature of an emergency. read more

The name of the business is tire kingdom so I take it for what it is. I came here to get tires replaced they got me in and out in under an hour, and because the garage is right next to them you can literally watch them work on your car. The price was inexplicably $2 more than i was quoted online but considering i payed a third of what i would have payed at my local dealership i had to chalk that one up to the business. I took my car in to have a screw removed out of a tire and the brakes master cylinder replaced. After the master cylinder was replaced they also suggest I replace both rear cylinders saying they were leaking. I decline and call Your Mechanic to come to my house to change out the rear cylinders. The mechanic informs me that one of my cylinders has had a bolt sheared off when Tire Kingdom bled my break lines when installing the master cylinder. Long story short: TK mechanic lied to cover up his mistake. And now because of the sheared off bolt...my cylinder is leaking. So, now..after replacing both cylinders as recommended I'm out $310. I wouldn't have needed any cylinder replaced. I've included photos which I intend to email to corporate. You can see the bolt still in the cylinder head. read more

I have been going to the same Tire Kingdom for at least 7 years because it was the only place in the neighborhood to get an oil change besides a big box store whose name begins with a W. Each and every time I go in they try to up-sell me. EVERY time. Words like unsafe, dangerous, not the best protection are used. Things like "you need new spark plugs" when I asked if there was anything wrong with my spark plugs, I was told "no, but your manufacture recommends you change them". Another one "the oil change you selected (the $28) won't provide you with the best protection. We recommend getting this one ($99)." Please stop trying to put your hand in my wallet! read more

Coming up on 3 and a half hours still waiting for an oil change right now as I type this. They told me I need new tires in the front. Just got my car not even a year ago. I will not be coming back. The wait is just too bloody long. If i really do need new tires I'll get them else where. Overpriced, never do the job you ask, excess charges, price gouging, and some pretty subpar customer service. We have gone to this Tire Kingdom because it was close to home, but that's it's best feature. Most recently my wife had a flat tire, so we went to get her new ones. We asked for 50,000 mile tires because the car was close to 200,000 miles already. Instead of telling us they didn't have them, they just smiled and put in for 90,000 mile tires without telling us. They charged us $485 for their "cheapest" deal, but we had to leave the car overnight. We're woken up by them calling to say there was a bad sensor in the tire and they had to put in a new one at $70, at cost to them, no labor fees. Looking up the part, it's a $20 part for anyone to buy one of online, but somehow their base cost is a x3.5 markup in price. When I asked them about it, the man told me he could just take it out and we'd have a flat tire. So now forced to, we paid $76 and change. The part was $65, and apparently 'at cost' means they add on a shop fee that they don't tell you about. All in all, spent nearly $600 on tires with a higher life expectancy than the car, a price gouged sensor, but the threat of not filling your tire with air after paying for their service did come free, so there's that. I'd love to say that was our only complaint with them, but we paid themfor a serpentine belt they didn't tighten, paid for work on breaks that never fixed them, and a few other smaller issues where we walked away unsatisfied. It's probably on us for going back to them, but if you're reading this, it'll be on you if you still go with Tire Kingdom. read more

I purchased my fourth set of tires from the Poinciana location yesterday. Even though I had completed my purchase online and had found a great deal on a set of higher end Cooper tires, Juan did some additional research and found me an even better deal on the same tires I had selected. My car was ready even before promised and when I picked it up, Juan had noticed that my battery was starting to fail. I had already thought that it was going bad and even though it was nearing closing time, they gave me an excellent price on a new battery and stayed a little late just to install it then to save me another trip. These are the little things that keep me coming back to this store. I have always had a good experience when dealing with this business. They have never once tried to sell me something I did not need and these days that alone means a lot. I will be returning in the future. read more

You won't believe the rotten service experience I had: Went in Monday, was told there was a 2-hour wait. But if I wanted to make an appointment, then I could come back at appointment time, and be first on the list. So I made an appointment for 2:30 PM the following day. When I show up at 2:30, I'm told there is a delay of one and a half hours - I will be provided service at 4 PM! So I say, "Okay, rather than wait here for an hour and a half, I will come back at 4 PM." The service manager tells me "No, we have another appointment at 4 PM. So we will need to take care of him first." My response - "So I have a 2:30 appointment, but because I won't sit in your waiting area for 1.5 hours, you will put the 4 PM appointment in front of me?" His answer, "That's right, because he has a 4 PM appointment." Totally unprofessional service. In looking at their reviews on this site, I see eight one-star reviews, and one two-star review. With one anomaly- a single five-star review. Probably a relative of the business owner. My advice, unless you enjoy being treated deceptively, stay away from this place. read more

Don't go here unless you have all day long to wait for the most mundane repair. I have been to this shop twice and after the first time that I went in for an oil change that took 3 hours I swore I would never go back but I got stuck and had to. First visit: Oil Change 3 Hours - Removed my axle....seriously I am not kidding they took my axle off when I went in for an oil change. Second Visit: 4 Tires Went there for 4 tires was told an hour and a half, took 4 hours. And when I went in for tires only for some reason they also did an oil change, it was free so I can't complain too much but they have a severe problem sticking to the job at hand. If you are stuck in Poinciana and need something this may be your only choice....but if you don't have to go there....don't! read more

I have had several visits to thus Tire Kingdom. I can express how I have sat in their shop for hours getting simple oil changes. I would go there when I would have a discount. When I have received estimates for service, I can find it for much less at other service shops. At least three times I have had the oil change with the tire rotation included. Days later I discovered that my tire covers would be missing. I know have to buy new tire covers for my car because I don't want to drive around with three on my car. read more
