I hate to be the first or only 1 star review. But here goes: Found this place on Yelp because it was the closest one from where I stopped because of my flat. He (I didn't catch his name) already looked pissed when he saw me (I was kind of blocking the driveway to pull in but someone wanted to back out but the car's reverse lights weren't on, how was I to know?) After I pulled out of the traffic, he approached me and I told him I have a tire issue (duh) and pointed to him which. He told me my tire is soft and I drove it when it was soft (duh) and he has to charge me $40 if I want him to take it out and check it. $40 just to check it??? He couldn't be bothered to see or listen to the tire? I told him my tires were pretty new and he got all defensive and didn't want to touch it. He only put enough air in it for me to go where I got my tires from, "So I can take it back where I got it from and get a new one". He made it sound like if he touches the tire, it will break the warranty and it's a cardinal sin. He put enough air in my tire to re-inflate it, maybe because I asked him. Who knows what he would have e done if I did not. This is not my first flat, but this man did not make this hassle less traumatic. He did not want to help and can't wait to get rid of me. He was already walking away from me when I was still asking questions. He did not even think twice about sending someone on their way back on the road with a leaky tire. read more

I came here on a referral from Vinnie's Automotive. Mike was very helpful; competent and and honest. For the work I needed done, he referred me to someone who specializes in my particular vehicle (Mercedes G550; apparently G-Class is the only Mercedes for which he doesn't do alignments.) He also gave me a good quote on tires upon request (again, he was honest and didn't push them even when I expressed a willingness to replace them early.) I haven't haven't gotten tired from Mike but am likely to do so shortly. It can be difficult to find people who are both competent professionals and genuinely good/honest guys and that's what you have here. He also seems to have connections to similarly reliable and honest professionals in the event that he doesn't do the work you need. Even when it didn't seem like I would be having work done by Mike today, he was friendly and generous with his time and guidance. I needed to replace the worn out tires on my BMW X5 and a friend recommended I check out this place. I looked up prices online, for the run flat tires for my car: 1. Costco had the tires at $1014 for 4+ $15 installation per tire + $3 for the sensor per tire. So around $1100. 2. American Tire Depot had a lot of results but the ~$250 tiers were not in stock, just $270-$350 per tire available today. 3. I called Mike, $950 for the 4 Good Year run flat tiers, no other fees aside from tax. I dropped off the car, in one hour he called me that it was done... the tires were rebalanced and Mike said everything else was fine, no need for alignment or anything else. I was led to Mike through a recommendation of a friend. He didn't steer me wrong. I took a friend there to buy tires and an alignment. Mike got us a great deal on the tires and quick mounting and balancing. He then aligned the tires. He even showed us that the back tires didn't need alignment and saved us some cash. I learned about Mike's service from George at MBZ Motors, a block up the street, where we have our Benz E320 serviced. George recommended Mike down the block for our other cars. Over the past 6-8 years we have had Mike do all our service on our Volvo 940, Honda CRV, Toyota 4Runner, Chevy Suburban, and sometimes the Benz, too. Always stellar service, VERY fair prices, convenient down-times (short), and Mike always seems to consider the most reasonably economic approach to any problem. Now that our kids are adults, they go to Mike for their cars, too, with equally happy results. It's not just tires, it's all mechanical work, including minor and routine oil change/filter/lube jobs, and some big jobs, such as timing belts changed at near 100,000 miles and sometimes complex jobs.
