I can not tell you how impressed I am. Driving on a road trip my Maserati got a flat tire and the tire had to be replaced. I called 20 places including 2 Maserati dealers and no one could get the tire for today !!! Tire Traxx did and had access to a nearby warehouse and got me the Rare tire. IF IT WERE POSSIBLE FOR ME TO GIVE THIS COMPANY ZERO STARS I WOULD! Where should I start, well i walked into the establishment on a Saturday around 12:30pm looking to buy some rims. The guy that helped me "Alex" asked me if i was interested in anything. I pointed out a set of rims that i liked and asked the price. He asked what i had in mind, which i thought was kind of odd because i didnt know i was in a Bartering type of place. ANYWAY i said that i previously had a quote for 962$ for 5 rims. He said they could beat that for $900 all 5 rims, installation, and locking lugs. SOUNDS GREAT RIGHT?! I then asked him how long it would take to have them installed; which i was then told 30 minutes. Well about 1 hour after that conversation ALEX came to me telling me that they were having a tough time locating the rims. 2 hours later they located the rims and started installing them, and on the third hour they told me that they could only find 4 of the rims and would have to order the 5th rim and it would be there by wednesday, so i agreed. Come the time of payment, ALEX then requested that i pay for the 5th rim (I should have known that was stupid) but i payed for it because i was happy to have nice wheels. Wednesday comes around and i did not receive a call from the business so i had to call them VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. They then told me that the order got messed up and they would be there friday for sure. So i said okay no problem. FRIDAY comes around.... no phone call.... so i then again call them. They then tell me that the rims were on back order and they wouldnt be there until Monday, so i am a little upset but i take their word for it. MONDAY is here and i once again do not receive a phone call... so i call them... at this point i am beyond IRRITATED! I talk to ALEX once again the precipices to tell me that the rim that i want is in such demand that he cannot find a place to order one. I think this is all bulls**t so i told him either find me a rim by tomorrow, which is tuesday (TODAY) or i will have the 4 rims that i am currently using removed and i want my money back. He explains to me that he will do that for me, and that he is trying his hardest to locate some. So today comes, and guess what! STILL NO CALL!!!! So i find the rim i need and i call them AGAIN. Alex answers and he totally forgot what i wanted! ARE YOU F'ing kidding me?! So i tell him the exact website were you can find the rim i need, which was hard to find all you had to do is google it..... and he said he will order it now and send me pictures. After he ordered it he did call me and tell me that it was ordered but it wont be here until a month and a half from now!!!! (Even though he next day shippinged) it. So right now i will call the company he ordered it from and find out why it wont be here until then. In the mean time he offered to put a non matching rim on my spare (Jeep Wrangler), which is just assinighn. I will be going to get my money back for the 5th rim until it arrives. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! IF YOU HAVE FRIENDS, FAMILY ANYONE LET THEM KNOW! I Think they are shady as hell and they may try stealing money from you, and who knows if they even fix stuff. What follows is a long and detailed description of my experience at this location. If all you want is the details then here you go" I was lied to about the time it would take by A LOT 5 hours instead of 1.5, my vehicle was "forgotten about" for several hours, i got ripped off for an extra $25.00 for parts they never used then once they had the money they were done with me, wouldn't even move the cars in the lot so i could get out safely." GO ELSEWHERE. If you want the whole story please read on :) Went in to Tire Trax in mid march of 2014 I had a coupon from a mailing add for a muffler replacement for $39.99. I had first called in and checked on what was covered for that price and i was told it covered the cost of removal of the old muffler the cost of the replacement muffler and the installation cost for a total of around $45.00 with tax. I thought PERFECT. I took my car in around 11 am on a Monday, to find a lot packed with cars, cars were parked in front of the bay doors, parked at angles, blocking other cars, both entrances were inaccessible. A number of the cars were up on jacks with tires off with mechanics working on them, this is in the parking lot! There was literally no where to go to get into the lot I had to swing down some horrific alley covered in huge pot holes and park at the business next door (also packed). I entered the shop and immediately notice how dirty the waiting area is, a thick coat of dirt and grime covers just about everything but the front counter. But hey I need the job done and who can pass up $40.00 for a new muffler when living on a tight budget. So i head up to the counter, the woman working there was nice enough. She looked at my coupon said "Sure!" quoted me a price of about $45.00 out the door with tax and told me it would only be about an hour an a half till i was ready to leave, and took my keys. Thus begins "The Wait" i give this its own title because it was an EPIC wait time. 12:30:PM i walk outside to get some air because, well, 90 mins of sitting on a hard chair watching reruns of Soul Train from the 70's-80's is enough to drive anyone insane. I find my car in the exact same spot that it was in 90 mins ago. I head back in and ask the guy at the counter (the girl is gone for the day by now) "why is my car still out there? Im supposed to be ready to leave your shop in about 10 mins." he looks around and sees my keys on the counter in front of him and goes "Oh, i forgot about these." and wanders off to the shop. and I head back to my hard chair for another grueling round of Soul Train... I wander back outside at about 2pm and YAY my car is now moved into the shop ( I still have no idea how they managed that as the parking lot NEVER got any better.) I peak into the bay and see my car up on a lift and think "Sweet it shouldn't take long now!" and head back inside to wait. 3:30pm at this point i'm getting super irritated at the lack of response, my car is still sitting on the lift, untouched. I head back to the counter to ask what is taking so long and the guy disappears back into the shop and comes back 15 mins later and says "Yeah your gonna need new hangers for that muffler its gonna be an extra $25.00 for those." at this point i'm angry and just want to go home so I say fine and take the extra $25.00 out of money i needed for food that week and say "Just do it." I head outside and watch the work being done, cheap quick and dirty is the only way to describe it. They hacked off the old muffler welded on the new one then cut the old tip off my dead muffler and welded that on to the new muffler. I guess he forgot about the new hangers, because the only hanger attached to the muffler was the one welded to the factory tip of my old muffler, he dropped the car and said its done. They were even kind enough to back my car out of the bay and leave it crammed in the main lot with no way to get out so i had to wait an additional 20 mins in the car for things to get shifted around just so i could get out without hitting other cars: 4 pm i'm gone. So, lets recap, I was lied to about the time it would take by A LOT (5+ hours from 1.5), my vehicle was "forgotten about" for several hours, I got ripped off for an extra $25.00 for parts they never used, then once they had the money they were done with me, wouldn't even move the cars so i could get out safely. Great Job Tire Traxx I will never do business with you again. If you do go here I highly recommend that you ask for the old parts back or at least to visually inspect the old parts just to make sure they actually changed them (you have that right at any shop). This place is a ripoff if your on a tight budget Good Luck to you, but if you can go elsewhere I highly recommend going there instead. read more

Scam artists! Do not do business with these hacks! Was quoted at 2300$ final cost for everything including mounting and balancing ect. for rims and tires and to do a level kit on my truck. So I agree and they say they need a deposit to order the rims and tires. So I put a deposit down and wait for them to call when they're in. Well a day later they say the rims are on back order. Even though they said they had them. So I agree to a different rim (which I researched and should've been the same cost) but it wasn't. 20$ more a rim. I agreed anyways and a day later I dropped my truck off at the shop to have the work done. Here's where it gets good! They called an hour later and told me I need, brakes and rotors all the way around, Upper and lower ball joints both sides, and upper control arms both sides. I laughed and said no I don't just do the job I paid for. He followed up by saying well then we can't warranty the tires or our work! I said I don't want those parts replaced, just do what I paid for. (I should've backed out and got my truck and money back but was stupid and didn't) So, I pick up my truck and they gave me a receipt that had the listing of repairs I didn't want. Which was over a 1000$ and it also said no alignment done (which was agreed they'd do in the quote). So I get home and find out they didn't give me my stock lug nuts back also had a Allen wrench still taped to the inside of one of my center caps! So went back to the store to get my lug nuts and found out they shorted me one. So after all that I'll inform you my final bill was 2800$ and that my father is a certified master mechanic and an automotive engineer!! And my truck absolutely DID NOT! Need those parts replaced! I contacted the tire company directly and provided proof of everything and received my warranty directly from them. I'll also add that while at the shop I over heard them pulling these same scams to other customers! Huge scam! Don't believe me! Go there for yourself and find out! I dare you! read more
