I had a 2:00 PM appointment for a tire alignment and ended up waiting for over an hour and a half. No one had even touched my car by the time I decided to leave. I understand delays happen, but no updates, no communication it felt like my time didn't matter. I ended up taking my keys and walking out. Super frustrating experience, especially since I had an appointment. I had planned to purchase the lifetime alignment warranty during the visit, but honestly the way things were handled made me lose trust in the service. Definitely won't be going back. read more

Their tire prices are high so I go to discount tires for that. But they are very reliable for oil change and other maintenance. They always check my tires. I checked their hours the night before online and it said 7am-5pm . So I woke up earlier so I could get there as soon as they opened . I also had to get to work as soon as they finished . All I needed was a new tire . I had the wheel with me that I took off from my other vehicle. So I showed up at 6:55am. 2 black employees were standing by the door smoking and talking . Immediately when I parked they walked all the way to the corner of parking lot where they couldn't be seen on bothered . I gave them the benefit of doubt and just waited until 7am. 5 minutes later, I turn my vehicle off , roll my windows up and go to the store entrance . No one went it and no one came out (usually the manager or owner unlocks door for customers to come in on time). I thought maybe it's already unlocked and open . As I get closer to the door, I noticed the lights are still out and no one is on the inside. I pull the door handle and it's locked ... I look over at the 2 employees who walked over to the corner of parking lot and they see me but continue talking as if I'm not their problem. I checked the hours on the door, thinking, maybe the online hours were wrong . Nope ! It said 7am to 5pm... I waited , again , giving the benefit of doubt... thinking maybe someone had an emergency and just late today. But no one showed up and I had to get to work. So I left and went to an Hispanic shop . I have a really bad experience today. I brought my car in and showed them which tire need to replace. However, they replaced the wrong tire. I just want them to put the old one back and will pay for the new one but they don't want to do it. The guy who talked to me is so rule. His atitude was really mean. We came on a rainy day it was pretty busy, 3 people ahead of us. My car needed 2 new tires and the alignment checked. They took the car for 45 min called us back, didn't really say a word to us. We paid and left. To our amazement NOTHING improved!! We paid $90 for nothing!!! Of course when we realized they scammed us we drive right back and demanded our money back! When we walked right back inside BRIAN was acting clueless like he didn't know anything that was happening to us (being SCAMMED) and just gave us our money back quickly. The thing that annoyed me was we paid cash $90, but the bill was like $89.60 we paid $90, they wanted me to give them 40 cents so they'd give us our $90 back I didn't want to give them the coins back just give me the $90!! If I could give a 0 review I would. But the system would only let me give a Minimum of 1 star. We took our car in to get a Wheel Hub Assembly & these people forgot to hook everything back up. Which caused the Transmission to slip & not go into Gear while I was driving, The car started to roll backwards on a hill. Thank god the break still worked to stop it. If I would have got on the interstate like I had planned to while driving home, the results could have been Detrimental. This location is either lazy or lacks competence. I dropped my car off in hopes of them diagnosing a sound coming from the rear brakes. They say the technician drove it for over 30 mins and did not hear a noise (but recommended $1500 repairs on FRONT suspension due to a squeaky bushing). this location is actually a choice of mines cause Decatur & Buckhead suck & i have a credit account. The one thing I find is an appt means nothing with TP. Doesn't matter the job you'll surely wait 2 to 3hrs longer than quoted. While this locations work is good lord knows if your on a timeline or stopped by to get quick service THIS PLACE isn't it. Best to drop it off & return. They will absolutely not tell you to leave & come back which is what I would do, its ok to tell a customer its best to come back, I'd very much listen but to tell me 1.5hrs just to give me feedback isn't kool. I have a credit account here as I mentioned thats the ONLY reason I come here otherwise I'd be at my 1st choice mechanic shop. The service was decent. The guy was able to give me some insight on some of the tires they carried. Wasn't really impressed with any promotions they offered if any but he definitely didn't willingly give that type of information as you would expect from a top tier salesman. They were pretty patient as I did alittle research due to me going in hopefully to have a 2 year old tire replaced not expecting to purchase all 4 but would have definitely considered had the right promotion been going on. So they explained to me I had a nail that was too close to the edge in which they showed me. I currently had two of one type of tire on the front and two pirelli's on the back. I also had previously went to the Lexus dealership recently where it seems they always would like for me to purchase tire due to mine always being worn or so they say. So the first tire the associate tried to sale me was a fire hawk summer tire in which after alittle research they don't do well under 30 degree weather. That wasn't happening because I don't need racing summer tires on a Lexus I use to get around town in. He then offered me the Bridgestone provenza's which were okay from a consumer prospective but were alittle pricey. I went with the provenzas in which they installed in about an hour but for me to have spent close to $1,000 on a new set of tires it would've felt great if they didn't leave white residue all over them as well as my rims and they also took my chrome caps and replaced them with some cheap gray caps in which a lot of places tend to do. I would just say if you have installed tire caps of any kind that you would like to keep take them off and place them somewhere you can remember to find them in the car and please let them know to clean the brand new tires you've choose to purchase from them. Also I purchased the protection plan for the tires which was an extra $100 but I feel was worth it due to always having any place you take your car always start by telling you you need new tires, plus if I get a nail or anything I won't have to worry about paying a full $200 per tire if anything. All in all a decent place to buy tires but do your own research as they won't do you any favors and know what tires you want because they'll throw anything on your car especially if you know nothing about tire in which most of us don't! I came here a couple weeks ago to get an ailgnment for my car.so when I got the ailgnment they missed align the bolts to my wheel bearing .I didn't find out until my uncle who is a mechanic was replacing my brakes.he told me they use a machine to re insert the bolts and if it is not properly align to the rods it cause the rods to break.so I had no choice but to buy a whole new wheel bearing for my car which cost me a lot of money.I lost all my trust in Tires Plus and I will never go back there again and I will advise others not to. read more

Tires Plus - They screwed up my wheel bearing - Tires Near Me - Norcross, Georgia

I posted a complaint a couple of weeks ago and the manager contacted me. I took my car back to them to fix the problem of my wheel bearing. Instead of fixing the wheel bearing, they ruled it out and, again, said it was my tires. They put 2 tires on in hopes of eliminating the noise. When I rode with the manager on the test drive after the 2 tires, he admitted it was a wheel bearing noise and asked when can I bring my car back. On this day I was due to bring it back, I called to tell him the time I was going to drop it off. He then said he had spoken to corporate and why this and that. He is saying that the noise is in back and my problems were in the front. My question to him was "if you didn't know wheel bearing noise from tire noise, then how can you specifically say which bearing it is at this point". Things took a turn when they realized they screwed up by putting on tires and not actually fixing the complaint - the wheel bearing. Now they are backtracking and putting the blame on me. This is a terrible business and totally unprofessional. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT go here. From Oct-Nov 2014 I received various maintenance from this tire plus location, oil change, timing belt, water pump, coolant flush, inspection, new tires, and life time alignments. Dec 2nd my car wouldn't start and I found out my battery was corroded (even though I was just at tire plus, they didn't say anything). I took it to the dealership and come to find out Tire plus did not do my coolant flush even though they charged me for it and said they would. the dealership showed me the coolant was brown and murky. I contacted tire plus and they said they remembered me because I had corrosion, however they didn't tell me that. Plus they agreed to refund the coolant, which they still have not. They have always had a problem with their garage shop employees getting to work on time. Went to get tire checked out because it was flat - suspected issues with temperature change (maybe even a nail). Ended up having my pressure sensor stolen and my hub cap stolen from the shop. They returned my hub cap after i complained enough about it over the span of a week. Save yourself the money and the hassle. He took the time to find my profile and warranty. I was greeted with enthusiasm and in great hands. I was the first customer and they were able to get me out quicker than expected. Make sure of 3 items when you get tires from these guys 1. Have them clean the grease off the wheels after install of tires. 2. If you have the tire pressure sensors on your wheels, make sure they set the sensors to match the menu on your dash. 3. If you like to run your tires at a certain pressure to get the best wear, make sure that they set them at the proper pressure. None of the 3 items above were accomplished even though I clearly stated what I wanted. I had to go back to have them finish the job. That cost me an additional hour. read more

I've been coming here for a few years now. I do make an appt. and go when Brian is at the front desk is working. I find him to be really knowledgeable and thorough...he always checks out the work to be certain it's done. It's been my experience that chain shops like this have some ebb and flow to the mechanics, so I make it a point to find someone at the front I can rely on. Someone, someday is going to screw up - because it happens but I've been very successful with this location and these guys. I dont like being lied to. However if your Hispanic you can come in after and leave before somehow. The black girl is still waiting with me. me. I took my new car to Decatur a year ago to get brand new tires. They gave me a huge deal and bonus coupons after my visit because it took longer than expected and they didn't have the tires I ordered in stock. I took my car to Norcross recently and had a free rotation done and back to me within an hour, then took my husbands truck and had it serviced for cheap and in about an hour too. Everyone has been super nice and helpful at both locations. They have a customer for life. read more

Two bad experiences with this location and I am done with them. First was when I needed an alternator and was told the only one available was the most expensive one, I called the local parts stores and that was not true, and they tried to add parts that I did not authorize. Second is today and they have had my truck for 2 days to do the rear brakes and it's still not done as I write this review. I usually get my oil change done at Good Year but decided to come here because they were a few dollars cheaper. The wait was extremely long, it felt like I was in a doctor waiting room. I regret this choice and would much rather pay a few more dollars to avoid a long tiresome wait. The old Caucasian  guy who took my keys told me it would take 40 mins. After waiting some time, my car was not even bought in yet so I went up to ask the Hispanic lady working there how much longer it would take for my car to be bought in. She said I was next and I asked if I should go pick up my brother from school and come back. She said she would bring it in and do it herself for me. I thought this was very thoughtful and a high class of customer service and was thinking I will come here every time from now. She bought it in but came right back to the front table and after somewhile I think she left for lunch break. She did not communicate anything to me and I did not know why she said she would say she would do it and did not. I was lost and confused. I am still waiting as I am writing this review. I came in around 12 and it is almost 3 now. Oil changes usually take 30 mins to an hour the most. I was planning on getting this done before I go into work and take care of other things but now I don't even have time to eat before I go into work! This is the longest I have ever had to wait on an oil change. And when my car was ready, the old Caucasian man rang up the wrong car and order for me. Terrible service. 0 stars! read more

I take both of my vehicles here. The staff is honest and helpful. Their prices are very reasonable. Thoughtful of money being an issue at times, they let me know which items needed to be done right away, which could wait a while, and also informed me of items I might want to have done when I could to improve the performance of my vehicle. They are not very speedy, so I just drop my car off and have a friend pick me up. If you can be without your car for a while, I highly recommend them! read more
