I blew out a tire exiting the freeway right at McCarren. It couldn't have been worse timing as I needed to leave for the airport in about 1.5 hours. Luckily there was a Tires Plus in the shopping center I turned into. Jeff was the gentleman who assisted me in getting my car in and checked quickly. He understood that I needed to get home fast (I had a ride coming) and that I would be working while out of town. Jeff really went above and beyond in my opinion. The blowout meant I needed to replace the tire, but on All Wheel Drive vehicles that means all 4 tires. They gave me a low, med, and high price for tires and brands. The mid price was a bit high, and when I asked for more options, Jeff told me they would do the research for wholesale tire vendors, beyond their own brands to find me something in my price range. This would be something I'd expect to have to do. Buy my own tires, then have someone install them. Jeff and Tires Plus took the time for me, and found some great Run-Flats that were much less than the others I was looking at. Lastly, while I was still out of town, they informed me that they were having a weekend sale of $100 off a purchase of $500 or more, which I was able to take advantage of by sending my Sis to pay the bill during the sale. Lastly, I feel they took great care of my car, bringing it inside the shop every night while I was away for almost two weeks! I took my ninety five ford aspire there to get four tires and an alignment the stripped the lug on the front drivers side of the car causing me to have to replace the entire wheel bearing. they also charged me for an alignment on a car with a broken coil spring which is not only dangerous it is illegal read more

negative 5 stars. i brought my car in for an oil change and when i drove the car home the alignment was off. i had just had the alignment done the week prior and it was driving as straight as an arrow when i drove it to these guys. when i drove home it was pulling heavily to the right. i called them and told them this and of course they denied any wrong doing. i had them do a free brake inspection and i suspect they knocked it out of alignment then to get me back in there, not knowing that i had had an alignment done at les shwab a week prior. bottom line... DON"T go to these guys. i don't trust them for a second. they offer a cheap oil change and free brake inspection just to tell you all this expensive work you need and screw with your car to get you back in. read more

I took my 4Runner here to have a set of tires mounted and balanced. The torque specs said 85. The tire busters did a fine job at mounting them but the balancing machine is defective as I was experiencing a vibration at 50-70 mph so I took it back and had them rebalance them. Each wheel was .75-1.50 out of balance just 100 miles later which means they were never really balanced. I took it back to confirm the balancer was at fault and they told me they were instructed by the boss to just give me my money back. I would highly recommend a second rebalance from any shop just to make sure their equipment is operational. Customer service is good as long as nothing goes wrong. Under stress in a predicament such as mine and customer service goes out the window. I will never use Tires Plus again. read more

Interesting how this place either gets 1 or 5 stars, not much in the middle. It almost makes you think they're padding their own review! I've been going here for quite some time, and each time I'm foolish enough to think it'll get better. Here are some of my experiences: I hit something on the freeway with my tire. The tire began making a "thud" noise, but was not going flat. I took it in, and explained the problem. Don came with me on a test ride so he could hear the noise himself. When we got back to the shop, he literally quoted what I had told him on the shop notes, then proceeded to charge me 20$ for a diagnosis fee!!! Another time, my check engine light came on. These guys quoted me 100$ just to read the diagnosis. I went to another place in town, they diagnosed the problem for fee, and told ME how to fix it so they didn't have to charge me! Lastly, and their personal best... I recently went there to get my tires rotated, they did so no problem. However, when I was getting on the freeway, I saw my left rear hubcap fly off. I called Tires Plus when I got home to complain, expecting them to be apologetic and replace the hubcap. Instead, John the manager, stated the mechanic made a note that I came in with only 3 hubcaps! This guy essentially LIED STRAIGHT TO MY FACE!!!! I SAW THE HUBCAP COME OFF!!! There are 2 other tire shops within walking distance of this place, don't waste your time here!!!! read more

terrible customer service they tell you one thing and then say another the next. had to purchase a tire from tire rack so tires plus can install it they told me they would shave it down for $25 and when i brought my tire in they did no they don't that and i would have to drive up to tire rack again!soo somehow driving on my wimpy donut is safer then a fill tire with some tread on it!?fuck that.dont tell me you shave tires and waste my time! read more

ok, so I bought 4 firestone tires transforce at's from tirebuyer.com and had them shipped to tiresplus on101160 n McCarran blvd. 2days later they call my cell to let me know their there, so I drop by to make an apt: to have them installed, and was greeted by a guy at the front desk, oh said he did not know any about it and that no one from called me, maybe it was another tiresplus up the street. well my frustration level was about to get ugly and I was going to leave and call tirebuyer to cancel the order another employee stepped up and took charge of the problem!!!!!!!!!! if MARK had taken over when he did firestone would have lost a 30yr plus coustomer !!! Last December I took a trip to Reno from the bay area in my '85 Volvo. I have a mechanic who has also become a good friend who I called when the car exploded one cold 24 degree morning in Reno. He thought it was the plug inside the radiator that had exploded. What it was is that I live in the bay area and I don't use antifreeze as heavily in the car here because it never freezes where I live. One night in the cold, and *something* exploded in my car. I went to Tires Plus and the men there were incredibly kind and helpful. The manager,John Brusaschetti, who kindly filled up my water container and tried to determine what the problem was. I felt his sincerity and really wanting to help efficiently and knowledgably. I told him I was visiting from Reno, on a budget and hoping against hope that I wouldn't have a several hundred dollar fix on my hand, as i had under a hundred dollars (am debt and credit card free). He explained the different possibilities and promised to call when he had time to assess the situation. A friend picked me up for my visit, and about 3-4 hours later, the call came in from John that it would be only $30 to fix. Next morning the car was done, and has been running great ever since.
