AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!! If you are in need of patching your tire, avoid at all costs!! I took my car here to get a tire patched, which they did, HOWEVER, in the process of this they damaged my tire pressure sensors. The same day I got my tire patched my tire pressure light turned on and suddenly my car did not read the tire pressure at all. When I took my car to get serviced at my dealership, I was informed my tire pressure sensors were damaged and needed replacing. Cost me $1000, and I was not happy about it. Just a warning to those in need of tire patches, you can spend the $30 here to get it fixed but beware the future issues and additional out of pocket costs they will cause! read more

My back rear tire ended up getting a nail in it, I took my vehicle in for the tire to get patched up. Unfortunately the nail placement was unrepairable, so I ended up having to purchase a new tire. Not a fun surprise haha BUT Tires Plus made sure to get it done quickly and at a reasonable price. They had excellent customer service! Needed a new tire from a nail. Came in friday, made an appt for saturday, a worker documented what tire i would need. Spend hours waiting on saturday-(even with my appt) to just be told I need a new tire and they don't have it in stock. That could have been figured out on friday and saved hours on saturday. Never got a call it was done on sunday. Pick it up on monday, drive down the road, my tire is basically flat and actively losing air because there is no valve cap on my brand new tire. My daughter had a flat tire so I had AAA come out, put the spare on, and directed my daughter to this Tires Plus as it was close to her college. The tire was fixed and she went to pick it up and noticed that the hub cap was broken and I told her to go back and let them know of the damage as she had sent me a picture of the tire the night before and there was clearly no damage. I then got a call from my daughter crying hysterically that 4 guys ganged up on her and told her that they didn't cause the damage and that if she continued to push the case, that the guy who fixed it would have to pay for it. She showed them the photo from the previous night (after AAA had taken the tire off of the vehicle) and they continued on with the intimidation tactics until she called me. I got the number and asked for the manager as I was fired up at this point. The person who answered claimed to be the manager John, I told him the situation, which he denied, I then told him that my daughter has dealt with many an issue and has never called me crying because she was being ganged up on by a bunch of guys. Somewhere in the middle is the truth but I'm leaning towards believing my daughter was being ganged up on after talking to John and hearing his attitude. However, he agreed they would replace the hubcap and he would deal with me from that point forward and he'd call me back the following Monday. Well, I called him back the following Thursday asking what was going on and he asked me to hold "while he ordered the hubcap", clearly he figured I wouldn't follow up. he got back on and said the situation was escalated, that they were going to replace all 4 of the hubcaps and that my daughter could come in anytime to have it done. I thanked him and hung up. She just left the shop, John refused to speak with my daughter and instead only talked to the male friend who went with her. After waiting, she went to ask how much longer and he said "oh, it's been done for 40 minutes, sorry about that". Really? There are other reviews of them causing damage to a vehicle and not understanding how it happened, have-not read enough to see if they've been demeaning to females or bullying them but, again, after I spoke with him, I could see how that would be the norm for that operation. read more

The tire plus here is better than the one at new tampa. They are performed the tire change, balance, rotation or alignment better. I have come to here for my tire replacement. I always find a 40,000 mile warranty tire here and change them almost every two year or more since tire do not last. What is the point to buy the good tire. The tire may be miss alignment once you hit the curb unintentionally. They tire plus here have the life time alignment and balance if you buy the tire here. I already got my money worth since I have been here for more than tree time due to their life time program. I suggest you do the same. Right now they have the tire in 59 minutes or you are free program if you make appointment. A smart way to come here is to make appointment and there is less wait. Waited 3 hours to get a simple tire change. The day before I had an appointment but was turned away because they did not have time to complete it and I was not able to leave my car over night. I asked if it was possible for them to finish by a certain time so I would be able to make an appointment I had and they said it wouldn't be a problem however my service time exceeded my promised time by an hour and I was not able to make my appointment. I even told them I was willing to come back on another day if they couldn't meet my expected time and still they made a promise that they could not fulfill. I helped take my girl friends car in to the shop to get her check engine light looked at. She was worried about her car and I had gone to Tires Plus before and had not had the worst experience. They charged her close to 900$ for fixing her E-Vap canister. Then they reset the check engine light. Then the next day the check engine light came on again with the same exact code issue. They stole 900$ from my girl friend and did not fix the her car. We took it back to them twice to try and get them to fix the problem they didn't fix the first time and they still did not fix it. I will never go to this place again. No one should ever give these guys money. Go elsewhere. read more

Would you believe they came up with $1200 repairs for brake cylinders, shocks and struts... I declined these additional services and took my car to a master mechanic for a second opinion. he showed me all components of the brakes and everything is picture-perfect. I have been taking both my cars to this location for many years, but the last several visits have caused me to completely distrust them: I believe they are intentionally sabotaging my vehicles. The first strange thing was that I had them change an O2 sensor. When I got my car back, the engine mounts were loose: they definitely had not been before bringing it to them, and there is absolutely no need to loosen them to replace the sensor. After that, I had an oil change; a few days later, a vacuum hose developed a leak. I had them fix that; a couple weeks went by, and the problem came back. At the same time, my oil was very low. I have a very slow leak around the plug gaskets, but nothing to drain a several quarts in a couple of weeks - there aren't even drip marks on my driveway; because of this, I'm sure they drained some oil the last time it was in. I will never visit that or any other Tires Plus location again. read more

It was going to take a couple hours to get that, because its such a rare item. The rudeness though was something I can not tolerate. I wish I could rate no stars. I did notice that Tires plus only responds to positive reviews. I dropped vehicle off at 2:30 I was told at the time that it would not be complete until closing time for an oil change and plugging a tire. There was only one other person in the lobby. For the first time I got to this place the counter employee ask me for my full first and last name. I give him my first full name and the initial of my last name, the reason? to many data breach with to much information in the dark web. No place is the exception, moving on. the employee develops an attitude because he has never heard of someone last name being and initial. Following that incident when I'm going to make my payment I don't see the charges on the debit card machine, I tell the employee and he reply's with and attitude I told you already 3 times It was the same then and is the same now. After finding they did not tork my lug nuts properly, and used an air gun to the point you can't get them off, I called. Told me to bring it right in. Got their, gave me an argument then told me it would take an hour. Told them and their complaint line I'll have it done elsewhere and send them a bill. Last time I had a scheduled oil change, took over an hour, not 30 minutes, and home office told me they fired the manager, so no more problems. Guess who gave me the argument in front of customers? I wish I could give this place less then one star. Took my car in a few months ago because the check engine light was on and the car wasn't driving smoothly. They said I needed a new EVAP canister so I had them replace it (not knowing this was something I didn't really need). Bad enough they charged $100 just to read the code but this ended up costing $754 all together. Got the car back and the engine light comes on again two days later. Took it back in for them to look at and they tell me it's the fuel cap and changed that. Two days later again the light is on. I take it back and now it's the vacuum switch valve. Fine. Had them fix that too for about $150 which is way over priced for the amount of labor it takes to fix that. Got the car back again and surprise surprise the engine light is back on 2 days later. So now I've driven around the past couple of months with the light on and decided to take it to Auto Zone today where they will run the code for free and ALL THE EXACT SAME CODES CAME ON for all the things I have paid them over $900 to fix!!!!!! And the car still exhibits all the same symptoms. I feel robbed and like I paid them a lot of money for absolutely nothing. My car only has 61,000 miles on it.
