Me and my boyfriend came on a Sunday morning and I was very very busy like usual. We had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes until we were seated at our table. Ellis our first time trying this place even though we always pass it all the time. I love their interior decoration. Staff were nice and the food was not but amazing. I got the seafood omelette with home fries. The potatoes was buttery but not greasy and very well seasoned. The omelette is hands down the best I've ever had. Tito's is not what American's would consider a diner, but what we ordered was good. don't go here for your typical american diner fare. try the mediterranean items. since having mediterranean food on a diner menu isn't what i call typical i figured this place must have some mediterranean worker/owner. calamari: good flavor, tender meat, crispy tempura outside. the portion was small for the price but it tasted good. eggplant parmesan with spaghetti & marinara: the eggplant parmesan was nicely flavored, but the breading was a bit chunky. spaghetti/marinara was very good, it tasted a bit like fruti di mare...it had a light seafood flavor that really made it taste great! shish kofta dinner: nice flavored beef, although the shape kinda threw me off. LoL i replaced the veggies with hummus. hummus was very good. service was friendly and fast. read more

While the outside of Tito's may look a bit worn, FH and I found the retro 50's vibe with red vinyl booths both cozy and clean. Upon entry we were immediately greeted and guided to one of the very comfy over-sized booths. There was one menu ( not two as someone else said) that contained the breakfast through to dessert offerings. I was tempted to try the famous corn beef hash but opted instead to be safe with pancakes and a side of crispy bacon. FH ordered the bacon cheddar stuffed omelette and added a croissant. We were both pleased with the efficiency of the service and care of food plating. By this I mean my bacon was put on a separate plate so it stayed crisp. My pancakes were run of the mill but the bacon was good quality and crispy perfection. FH made all sorts of happy mouth sounds in between raving about his selection. I tasted the omelette and had to agree, it was perfectly balanced eggcellence! I have to confess that in between bites of breakfast the red velvet cake and chocolate mousse mini cakes were calling to me. In a bit of ear hustling I heard the Sodexo vendor in conversation with regulars and he said the desserts were made on-site once a week by a pastry chef that comes in. The regulars raved about the desserts so I plan to go back and try for myself. FH and I agree in terms of diners our first experience at Tito's was a solid four star experience and we will happily return!! read more

Thank god for yelp. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn a half a mile away and this place is heaven! Veggie egg white omelette with cheddar was all FRESH - every mouthful. Hash browns were crisp. Wheat toast not burned. Coffee perfect. Ice tea with lemon perfect. The Belgian waffle with FRESH blueberries was again HEAVEN. The service was outstanding. I wanted to share my experience at Tito's Diner yesterday. I called to order a pick-up order, and everything was great on the phone. The woman was pleasant, took my order, and told me it would be 15-20 minutes. When I went in to pick up my order, another customer was paying and picking up their order. Instead of then helping me, the woman who had been helping the other customer walked away to do something else. I continued to stand in front of the cash register, while another customer came in. A different woman proceeded to help him with his pick-up order, and then went to put glasses away. In the meantime, nobody even acknowledged that I was there. I continued to wait while other workers came to the front, but nobody acknowledged me. Finally, a woman came up and said hello when I had three people standing behind me. I asked if I could please speak to the manager, who came up shortly. I told him this was my first-time experience at Tito's. I had called in my order. And that I had been standing there for well over five minutes, and nobody had acknowledged me. The manager replied that he was sorry, but it seemed to lack a level of sincerity. So, when I told him about the woman who helped the person who came in after me and then went to put away glasses, he responded with, "I already said I was sorry." I paid, and then realized my order had been sitting on the counter the entire time I had been waiting. Usually, I am pretty tolerant when a place is busy, but it did not seem appropriate to completely ignore a customer. It makes me wonder how their service would have been had I dined in. read more

This time I got the Tuna Melt on ciabatta with mixed veggies and my SO got the Chorizo Skillet. The tuna salad was fresh and I appreciated that there was cheese on the top and bottom bun. Went here today for the first time and was extremely pleased! Our waitress was very attentive and service was super fast and efficient! I ordered the sunbelt pancakes with bacon and I was not disappointed! Fruit was super fresh tasting and the bacon made me think of Sunday morning breakfasts as a child! My husband enjoyed his breakfast but was a little bummed that the corned beef hash was out of a can and not homemade. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. Came in on a Saturday morning and had to wait 15 mins for a table - not unexpected. What WAS unexpected was to be seated in the very first table, in plain view of both the bar and the hostess, and not see a server for 10 mins once we sat down. Both times service has been less than acceptable and this is while sitting at the counter for dinner while the dining room was maybe 1/4 full. Both times ordered soup to start (and I said "to start I'll have...) and both times it was served with the meal. Both soups were ok. Nothing great. Both meals were not good. Nothing like described on the menu. First was the gyro sandwich. Which was had no flavor. Was very small. And was more of a burrito than a gyro. Second was a tuna melt. Which was barley grilled, was served with lettuce, and was cold and the cheese was not melted. Simple orders that both were disappointing. I do not recommend this place. read more

Old school diner atmosphere, great prices for the portions and yummy breakfast. This place is easy to miss but worth the visit. The staff are friendly, attentive and fun. There's fresh bakery treats every day made by their very own pastry chef. The sweets aren't really my thing but my kiddos love the rare indulgence. Recently visited again with two of the kids; my daughter and I had their patty melt and unfortunately weren't impressed. First go around they came out with onions that were barely cooked. The waitress was great about taking them back to have them done right and remained cheerful. Overall the patty melts just don't have much flavor or juice. Basically a hamburger on toast. My littlest's chicken fingers and fries were great. White meat chicken, awesome portion for a kids dish, fresh crisp fries...she loved it. At the end of the day, we'll likely return at some point. My Girlfriend wanted to try this place for a while, so she suggested we go here for her birthday. When we entered, the hostess had an energy that I didn't think existed that early in the morning. We got to the table, and the first thing I noticed was how clean it was in there. The server, whom was waiting behind the counter also greeted us. She was nice, made sure she had everything correct, and always had a smile. The grave on the biscuits and gravy was silky smooth and not lumpy like most places. The bacon was cooked perfect, and the home fries came out in a cute little bowl. My girlfriend's waffle was huge and she was excited it had so much fruit on it. At the end of the meal, I was surprised how quick everything was, and didn't feel rushed to leave the booth. I would definitely come back, and I suggest this place highly! read more

on August 11th, 10:15am, I visited my favorite breakfast restaurant with my grandkids. I have been a patron for years & have enjoyed the food, never dissap pointed. Not a good visit today. I have a butter allergy & have always been able to eat off the menu, but all that changed. I was told the cook could not make any foods & was not able to order anything. Great diner in Fredericksburg. Was stuck in town due to weather and although most places were closed I found Tito's open for business. Breakfast was fantastic. This restaurant seemed pretty good at the start. My wife and were seated quickly and ordered within 5 minutes of sitting down. The food came out pretty quickly as well. Then the issues started. My wife ordered the chicken and waffles, the waffle was dry and the chicken completely unseasoned. I ordered the country fried steak and eggs, not much to write home about there either. I'm hoping it was just a bad day for the cooks in the back. I don't think we'll be back anytime soon. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED! My daughter and I used to frequent this establishment but we will not any longer. Our server spent more time texting than serving. I ordered the Spinich Framboise salad - spinich, pickled red onion, fresh strawberries, candied pecans, goat cheese and raspberry vinaigrette dressing, it had no strawberries, but it did have cucumber and cherry tomatoes - I am allergic to tomatoes. I gave up waiting and took the tomatoes (not cut so not a huge deal) off and ate it without the strawberries. She finally retired once we were done and I asked her for to go waters since it is terribly hot out, after about 20 minute we got our bill but no waters. Our food came out cold and tasting strongly of the cooking oil. We asked for a replacement which led to an argument between the waitress and the cook which everyone in the restaurant could hear. At that point we decided to leave. Argument ensues over paying for the returned food. She was clearly afraid of being fired if she didn't collect something.
