Run of the mill diner. We stopped by on our way north for a trip. The coffee was standard. Our oldest ordered a waffle and said it was fine. Middle child ordered a hotdog and fries which were nothing to write home about either. Youngest had sausage gravy biscuits and they were cold and tasteless. Husband got the bacon cheese burger and said it was just ok. He asked for bbq sauce and was charged 50 cents to add it to his burger. I got the 2 egg breakfast. Eggs were undercooked, bacon was tasty and toast was cold and barely toasted. Overall it was underwhelming and we will pick a different spot the next time we drive through. read more

Atmosphere: If you're looking for a stereotypical diner, Tito's Diner is it. It's a big shiny, metallic, building, located in the center of a large shopping center. The inside is equally as traditional diner with plenty of memorabilia and a full length bar, with plenty of tables and booths. Coffee: I haven't had a great diner coffee in quite some time. It was brewed hot and fresh. My favorite part was the personalized coffee mug, not many diners have those! Food: The menu at Tito's Diner is extensive with plenty of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. I decided to order the hummus appetizer. The pita bread was much crunchy and more of a chip than bread. It's not my personal preference. The hummus was good, but nothing unique or special. I was craving breakfast so went with the chorizo skillet with rye toast. I haven't had a skillet in a while, and while the meal wasn't bad, it wasn't the best ever. It was just a standard breakfast meal with plenty of potatoes and cheese. Service: The waitress was one of the most friendly waitress I've had in a while. She was definitely one of the best waitresses and the food came out very quickly. Overall Thoughts/Would I come back: I really enjoyed Tito's Diner and I would definitely go back. Wow! Terrific experience! We were on our way south after another weekend in DC and stopped in at 10:30 on a Sunday morning. Got seated right away even though they were busy - this staff is super efficient, as is the kitchen. The decor is retro 50's diner (cute) and the place is very clean. Super friendly staff and we were greeted right away. Then there's the food! Nothing crazy on the menu, standard breakfast fare, which is what we were looking for. I had the "Big Breakfast" - 3 eggs (had mine scrambled with cheddar), 2 pancakes, choice of hash browns or home fries (I subbed out grits) and choice of meat (bacon for me). Wow was it good! I am funny about my scrambled eggs - I don't like them runny or hard with those crunchy bits, and these were cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of cheddar! The grits were hot and creamy though the bacon was a little crispy for my tastes, it was exactly how the rest of my family likes it and it was yummy. The kid loved his pancakes, they were fluffy, not too thick, not too thin. There are a couple of steak & egg options on the menu and my Hubby opted for the ribeye. It was the typical thin breakfast cut, but was cooked rare to perfection as he likes it. Tasty too! Did I mention the coffee? Because I rarely do - I'm not a coffee snob, so for me it usually is what it is, but this was fantastic! Super tasty, smooth, fresh and hot. The food has gone down ever since the passing of the original owners. Whomever is running it now is cutting corners and bringing shame to the name. I know Tito would have fired all of them there if they were producing the quality they are now when he was around. My burger was small, my fries ARE NOT TITO'S FRIES! They were soggy and sloppy disgusting tasting like I went to a fast food place or a cheap ball park and got the fries that were sitting for hours. I can tell you they are not the fries they once carried. The burger was thin and miss shaped and dry and tasted as if they were frozen first. The original burgers were never of this quality and always fresh. I just am all around disappointed. My love for this place is gone. They need to get it back to normal or they will lose a lot of loyal customers. read more

Food is overpriced, the service is slower due to the fact we kept having to wave our server down. The ambiance is loud.

Great little Filipino restaurant, basically carry out. Food was delicious made fresh every day homemade desserts, reasonably priced you should stop by. If you're heading south we're heading north or live in the area you won't regret it. read more

Placed order for pickup of 2 meals and side salads. salad dressing, blue cheese was just a store bought bottled dressing that was horrible. husband had the open faced roast beef sandwich with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. the "garlic" mashed potatoes were not garlic at all. the roast beef very bland and the toast underneath was not even toasted. I had the fried shrimp with French fries and steamed veggies. I asked for tarter sauce and received cocktail sauce instead. the cocktail sauce did not hAve any tang from horseradish sauce in it at all. the shrimp had NO flavor at all, the French fries were just a store bought frozen frenzies that were disgusting. all in all, not a good first time experience for their dinners. read more

While in the area shopping on a Saturday, we stopped in to Titos for lunch. I was in the mood for a chicken salad sandwich and the wife just wanted something healthy. They claim to make one of the best (according to their menu) chicken salad sandwiches! Upon entering, we were quickly greeted by a very nice, cheerful hostess and she sat us at the counter, which was our preference. There, we were quickly greeted by our server, who took our drink orders. The place was packed, but there were many employees helping customers and bussing tables, so service didn't seem to slack at all. We also took note of the attention to detail in the decoration and how clean everything was. Looking at all the care that went into all the dishes that were coming from the kitchen and going out to the tables, told us that they really care about serving really good food! The items we ordered were outstanding! We really enjoyed them and can't wait to go back to try more of their menu! read more

Excellent food, somewhat challenging service. I ate at this diner last week, and was pleasantly surprised to find an "American fare" diner with mediterrenean features. The owners are native to the middle-east, so the restaurant has excellent hummus, kabobs, and other middle-eastern meals. Although our waitress was nice and she meant well, she flubbed up my order twice. It was easily fixed, and I can't blame her for not trying. Interestingly, the waitress at the next table brought a sizzling fajitas plate over to an older couple, and hot grease splashed on the patrons leg. Despite a cry from the customer and surprise from the spouse, the waitress was not apologetic nor tried to comfort her. This first-time experience was sort of disquieting. Overall, good atmosphere, great food (make sure you at least try one of the mediterrenean dishes), and I hope they're working on perfecting their wait staff. If they get the last one tweeked, this could be a five-star eatery! read more

The reason for the bad review is that we found a hair in my son's cheesesteak sandwich. The waitress was very friendly and offered to replace the food but it's a turn off for us to see good food handling practices not being practiced in a restaurant. They did refund my son's portion of the meal. I will not ever be returning back to this diner again which is sad because prior to this incident I had enjoyed eating the traditional breakfast with coffee here. read more

I definitely appreciate mom and pop restaurants! They often are so underrated and misrepresented. To many Big corporations taking over. Sometimes it gets boring eating at the same places. This establishment has a mid sixties vibe. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Everything was bright and shiny. I would definitely come back again. Food was ok. Ordered shish kebob dinner with mashed potatoes {due to a dietary restriction I can't eat rice}, husband got a gyro, kiddo got a fried chicken sub. Gyro was mediocre at best. Shish Lenin meat was well seasoned, mashed potatoes tasted old and made from a mix. Fried chicken sub was good. Service was ok, waitress has to keep checking what our order was as she forgot. We loved this little diner. A bit skeptical at first with such a large variety on the menu but everything was fantastic. Fresh crisp salad (I used their homemade Greek dressing) my hubby had a HUGE burger with cheese and an egg on top. I had the ginormous - did I mention - humongous chicken Parmesan. Served with the salad, garlic bread an spaghetti. Second time we went I had the strawberry pecan chicken salad and my hubby had the 3-way Giant fajitas. Shrimp, beef & chicken - now if you are all about the peppers & onions this is not your type of fajitas but if you are all about protein, well there was TONS! Jumbo juicy shrimp too! I've driven past Tito's numerous times and never stopped because I'd had bad experiences at diners before. I am seriously kicking myself in the butt now! We were greeted & seated immediately upon entering. Our server was fantastic. She was prompt and very friendly. The menu was very easy to navigate and provided quite a few delicious options. I settled on the stuffed French toast. You have either the option of custard or Nutella as the stuffing (I chose Nutella) and it's topped with fresh fruit, pecans, and whipped cream. My breakfast was more of a dessert, but that's ok. My bf ordered the country fried steak and eggs. Our food came out less than 10 minutes later and it looked so amazing! My French toast was super delicious and extremely filling. I didn't even finish all of it. My bf's breakfast was delicious as well (I wasn't allowed to try it because he was face-first in the plate. I wanted to keep all of my fingers ). Breakfast for both of us was a little over $20 and we were both full. Absolutely delicious place to eat. I brought my nephew with me to try this place out for the first time. We must of came at the perfect time because we were sat immediately and the parking lot was not filled like it normally is. The food reminds me of what would be a home cooked meal for an older person from Virginia, not seasoned enough to be considered southern cooking or a northern style. But in my eyes, this place is great and has better food then most. I had the biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. My nephew had the Belgian waffle with the fruit and whipped cream on top. Both of really great quality but the Hino is definitely their chocolate milk and the fruit taste so fresh! I HIGHLY recommend this place! read more

There are few things in life that are more disappointing than a bad breakfast...ok, maybe that's a stretch, but you get my point. On a recent trip to Fredericksburg with our daughter, Wifey and I stopped at Tito's for an early breakfast...Yelpers had it at four stars so we figured it was a safe bet. We rolled craps... We were greeted pleasantly and seated immediately and our waitress was there quickly to ask if we needed coffee...YES, exactly what we needed. Unfortunately, the coffee we had was awful. I don't know how a diner messes up coffee, but it wasn't good. We ordered a fairly normal breakfast-Wifey ordered a Waffle with scrambled eggs and I ordered pancakes with two fried eggs and a side of grits. Service was fast-bonus! Ok, the good...our eggs were good...not overdone, not rubbery, but cooked just right. My Grits tasted great, though they were a little watery...I prefer mine to be slightly thicker, but they tasted fine. Now, the bad...Wifey's waffle wasn't good. Underdone and kind of flavorless. My pancakes weren't good - flavorless, dry, not even saved by the syrup and butter. I probably should have said something, but we were in a hurry and I really didn't want to deal with a manager at that point so we just paid the bill and left. Maybe they were simply off their game the day we were there. Service was great and our waitress was very nice, but a diner with awful coffee (keurig coffee in the hotel was better) and that can't get waffles and pancakes right isn't going to get high marks from me. read more

My husband and I had been regulars from the time they opened until he got sick a little over a year ago. My family went there after the service of rememberance at MWH and were really disappointed. The steak egg rolls were dripping with oil, the BLT had half the amount of bacon on it as it had in the past, the milkshake my DIL had was very thin and my grandson's cheeseburger was clearly smaller and frozen which is a far cry for what they've served in the past. They weren't that busy but the service was very slow and the restaurant was not as clean as it used to be. The floor was sticky and the high chair brought to the table for the baby had food in it.
